  1. How is the draft with RB's this year. Is it a good one? If so, maybe they can find one in the later rounds.
  2. Per todays NY Post the Packers can drag this thing out until week 1 of the regular season. The deadline for Rodgers 58.3 bonus doesn't kick in to guaranteed salary until then. How funny would it be if Zach Wilson has to start week 1.
  3. I think they never should have let Carr leaving the building without a contract. He is 31 and would have signed a 4 or 5-year deal. That would have given the Jets some stability at the QB position, and they wouldn't have had to give up any draft picks to get him. Last year Carr threw for 3,522 yards with 24 TD's and 14 INT's. He is certainly a good QB or better than many in the league. That is a big improvement from what they had with Mike White who threw for 1,192 yards with 3 TD's and 4 INT's and Wilson's 1,688 yards with 6 TD's and 7 INT's.
  4. Then you watch fans of Boston teams and just wonder why that can't happen for Buffalo just once. Between the Pats, Sox, B's, and Celtics they have had it pretty good over the years.
  5. Imagine the Jets win the Super Bowl this year with Rodgers. This board would go nuclear on Beane/McDermott if that happened.
  6. Same thing happened with the Islanders. The owners got then Gov Cuomo on board with building their new arena. Once Cuomo was on board the construction of UBS arena was underway and done pretty quickly.
  7. So does that mean the small market Green Bay Packers who continue to play in old Lambeau are in danger of moving.
  8. 17-6 as opposed to 13-6 could have made a difference. Same thing in the 1st Super Bowl. If Hostetler fumbles in the endzone from the Smith sack, then its 17-3 instead of 12-3. That Giants team was not built to come back from large deficits.
  9. Good point. If I remember correctly didn't Aikman play that game with a concussion. That would not be allowed today of course but back then the term was "he got his bell run". Players would sit out a play or two and then go right back in.
  10. The Giants loss was and still is the most painful loss in Bills history. It will remain so until the Bills can finally win it all. The other 3 losses we just got our asses kicked.
  11. Kelly had a much better OL than Josh does. No offense to Singletary, Hines but no Bills RB today comes close to #34. Those Bills teams had the ultimate game changer on defense in #78. Bottom line the Super Bowl era teams were constructed better and just better overall than these Bills.
  12. Sabres fans will appreciate just making the playoffs at this point. But the bar for the Bills is much higher. I want one Super Bowl championship before I take a permanent dirt nap.
  13. It's possible but I still think they need to build around Allen. OL and WR are top priorities IMHO. They do need to find a replacement for Edmunds but given that the league rules are geared towards the offense, then building around Allen is the way to go.
  14. He could still get them in the draft. He is going to have to hit a HR in the early rounds. You can find impactful in the later rounds (Tom Brady as an example) but it is much harder to do.
  15. Once WNY native and lifelong Bills fan Kathy Hochul took over for Cuomo that sealed the Bills fate. They were/are never leaving on her watch. She gave the organization a sweetheart deal granted at taxpayer expense, but Bills fans will be able to cheer for their team for generations to come. If the team ever gets sold by Terry Pegula, I doubt the league would allow a new owner to move them with the new stadium in place. KH will make sure any political red tape BS gets solved so construction begins this year.
  16. Paul Andrew Esden Jr on Twitter: ".@AdamSchefter said on @GetUpESPN that he believes Aaron Rodgers will be traded from #Packers ➡️ #Jets for a first this year & a conditional pick next year. 🧐" / Twitter
  17. Exactly. Don't get me wrong both Beane and McDermott have done a great job in turning the franchise around. But they need to own the recent playoff failures. Is the roster good enough (Beane) and is the coaching good enough (McDermott) to get us over the hump? Division will be a lot tougher this year with the Fins and Jets improving. Like you said the bar has been raised.
  18. It would be nice if it could "work" its way to a Super Bowl championship at some point.
  19. Rodgers is also winless in his career at Buffalo.
  20. How much of a factor will Breece be though? Didn't he suffer the same injury as Barkley. It took Barkley a couple of years to get back to his old self (last year). With Rodgers and Allen, we should have a primetime matchup between the Bills and Jets this year.
