  1. It will work as long as the Bills can put a winning product on the field that can compete for a Super Bowl. But if that changes then look to the 1970's, 1984, 1985 levels of attendance. Pressure is on Terry, and it will really be on Beane and McDermott to keep them a winning team.
  2. Penguins have two cupcakes left on their schedule in the Hawks and Jackets. Unless they "F" up the Pens are getting 4 points. The Isles just need 3 points to clinch. At Caps tonight which could be a tough game. Rivalry game and it's on the road. Still the Isles are favored to win. Isles finish up with the Canadiens at home on Wednesday. I doubt they lose that one. The Panthers have the Leafs tonight and the Canes after that. Toronto is a good team, but they have nothing to play for. The Carolina game will be tough as they are trying to hold off NJ for the division. Bottom line is the Sabres are definitely heading in the right direction. I would say they will make the playoffs next season if they can improve the defense.
  3. Connor Hughes on Twitter: "Odell Beckham Jr. called the #Jets last night & gave them a chance to match the offer he got from the #Ravens, per sources. They were never going that high, though. Again, with Jets, he’s their No. 3. Ravens gave him a better deal. He took it." / Twitter
  4. It's going to put pressure on Terry to field a competitive team. Could you imagine 5-12, 6-11 type seasons in the new stadium with those ticket prices and PSL fees. If Terry is under pressure, then you know McDermott and Beane will be as well.
  5. 194 pages and counting for someone who won't be a Bill. Any WR help we get is coming from the draft.
  6. Isn't the seating capacity at the new stadium going to be around 60,000. That is probably a good number for the Buffalo market. Many fans will be priced out from going unfortunately.
  7. I am one of those suckers. Here is the funny part. Most Giants and Jets fans will tell you they like Giants Stadium better than MetLife. The stadium is now 14 years old but for a relatively new stadium it is viewed as a POS by most fans especially when compared to stadiums in Dallas, Vegas, LA, Minnesota, Indianapolis.
  8. Obviously, the NYC area market is different than Buffalo. My seats at MetLife (I have 2 seats) had a $5,000 per seat PSL fee. I opted for the 10-year payment plan. Thankfully for me I am done paying that now. My PSL fee wasn't even the most expensive. Lower level 50-yard line had a 20,000 per seat PSL fee. Only the extremely wealthy or corporations could afford those seats.
  9. I can tell you what the Jets do. As for seasons you can pay in full due 2/1 by check or credit card. You can pay over 6 months by credit card only starting 2/1. As for the PSL fee the Jets send that out in late September and its due Nov 1. You can pay it in one shot. Most people can't afford to do this. You can pay over 5, 10, 15 years. Unfortunately, the Jets charge interest if you do it this way. But the season ticket bill and PSL bill come at different times of the year. The Bills will have to work with the fans on the PSL fee. Many won't be able to pay it in one shot.
  10. Bills fans can never quit the Bills. The Eagles said it best. "You can checkout anytime you like but you can never leave". That describes the Bills fans relationship with the team perfectly.
  11. IMHO this rebuild is finally working after what seems like 1,000 tries. They have a good young core that played well this year. Tage Thompson is already one of the best players in the league. Hopefully Levi can prove to be the real deal in goal. So far, he has looked good but its early. Maybe he can do for the Sabres what Shesterkin has done for the Rangers and Sorokin has done for the Islanders. They do need to improve the defense this off season either with FA or the draft. Their young core players are only going to get better. Same is being said of the Senators who are also in the same boat as the Sabres. If they can improve the defense, I think the playoffs are a very good bet for next year. It's April and the Sabres have stayed in the playoff race all year. Even though they will fall short this year when was the last time the Sabres were playing meaningful hockey this late in the season.
  12. I would rather have Joe Ferguson as the backup QB for Josh instead of Cam.
  13. I live in NJ, and I will say the best things about MetLife are as follows: Wider concourses to walk around in compared to Giants Stadium. Many more bathrooms and there are more urinals/toilets in the bathrooms than at Giants Stadium. You can get in and out of the bathrooms very quickly including at halftime when everyone goes to them. 4 Giant screens inside the stadium that covers the red zone channel. So, coverage of all the out-of-town games is great. Jets fans obviously pay more attention to the Bills, Dolphins, and Pats games. As for the restaurants/bars/stores. I don't think to many people use them considering how many people are in the stadium. You can buy piss water oops I mean Bud Light, Coors Light for the very "reasonable" price of $22 a bottle. Jets/Giants crowds are like Bills crowds. It a tailgating atmosphere. Most aren't going to pay the prices they are charging for food, drinks, and merchandise in the team store.
  14. Per Forbes the Bills are now ranked #29 in the NFL with a value of 3.4 billion. So, the new stadium has increased their value. It was never going to be like the stadiums in LA, Vegas, or Dallas but as long as they can win a Super Bowl and hopefully more than one then I really won't care how good the new stadium looks.
  15. We will probably draft a WR. I am fine with the current group of receivers if the Bills continue to improve the OL in the draft. If Allen has time in the pocket, then the Bills will be more than fine in the passing game.
  16. Once Kathy Hochul (A WNY girl and lifelong Bills fan) took over for Cuomo than that was the day the Bills future in WNY became secure. She was never going to let them leave on her watch. She was going to make sure the Bills got past any political BS/red tape to get this deal done. The same thing happened to the Islanders with UBS Arena. They got Cuomo on board with the deal, and he made sure the Isles got their new arena. Fans/taxpayers will pay more but the Bills will be in WNY for a long time.
  17. Animal House doesn't count. That movie was from 1978.
  18. Biggest difference is the OL. Kelly had a very good one vs the one Allen has which blows. It's no contest. This Bills team is built to pass. The Kelly led Bills teams could run and throw equally well. Kelly did admit that they wanted to establish the run first with Thomas. When that happened then the passing game opened up.
  19. Mac Jones for Zach Wilson. Rodgers stays in GB as the Pats and Jets have their future starting QB's.
  20. From the 70's I would add One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. From the 2000's the 1st Hangover movie was pretty funny.
