Reminder: 38-10. 37-3. 48-20. Plus, the Bills WON on Sunday.
Gregg replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I expect them to be 6-2 heading into the Bengals game. They "SHOULD" have no problem this week. Tampa could give them a game but at home the Bills should win a close one. -
Games like that happen sometimes. Look at the Chiefs. They only scored 19 points against a defense that gave up 70 to the Fins.

I would guess the Bears HC gets canned first but if it was the Chargers, I wouldn't be shocked.

Not with his shoulder hurting. Let Cook run it 20-25 times. Hopefully the shoulder injury doesn't affect his throwing and the Bills OL allows no sacks. Don't want to see Allen running at all this week.

IF Allen Tried to Force His Way Out of Buffalo...

The Rams are doing better fanbase wise then the Chargers but even their games they have a lot of visiting fans. LA really isn't that great of a football market for the NFL. Maybe USC and UCLA on the college level do well. When it comes to sports there it seems like it's the Lakers, Dodgers and then everything else.

The Bills are running the ball better this year than in years past. Cook 75 carries 363 yards with 4.8 avg. 1 TD. With the exception of the Jags game Cook has been fine carrying the load running the ball.

Hailee Steinfeld.

The Broncos and Raiders have no shot. But the Chargers do have the talent to do it. The question is can they?
-
I also liked the show better with the Ropers. Nothing against Don Knotts as Mr. Furley who was also a very talented actor.
-
It has got to suck for the Chargers knowing that you are the road team in your own stadium. Place had to be 60-70% Cowboys fans.

Where are you at this brand new “No running Josh” ?
Gregg replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills are doing a better job running the ball this year without Allen having to do the running. After last season Allen said it himself that he can't continue taking the hits if he wants to play in the league a long time. Look at what happened to Cam Newton. -
Hoping the Bills can get out to a huge lead in the 1st half, so the 2nd half is basically garbage time. Not just for the obvious reason but they will have a short week as they play Tampa on Thursday. It would be nice if the Bills could rest their starters for the 2nd half with a quick turnaround to the next game.

What is going on with the offensive juggernauts?
Gregg replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
I haven't heard anything on the injuries to Deebo and McCaffrey as far as them missing any time. But that would be a huge loss to the Niners offense if they are out for a while. -
How about the 3rd and 10 right after the 2-minute warning and Hurts gets picked off. The Jets had no timeouts at that point. If they run the ball, then they can take about 40 seconds off the clock. Punt it and Zach has a little over a minute to drive them into FG range. I would have liked the Eagles chances to win the game if they did this.

That NE loss has to be killing them. I think the Jets-Pats games are getting close to the Bills-Dolphins of the 70's when the Fish won 20 straight. The Pats have beaten the Jets 14 or 15 times in a row. They have a pretty good streak going against them.
-
I expect it will be the usual hard-fought close game.
-
They have a bye next weekend but after that it's an "away" game at the Giants, followed by the Chargers and at the Raiders before facing the Bills again. They could easily be a 6-3 team when they come to OP.
-
Agree with you. That is on the coaches to know when to play him or not. Realistically it is going to take some time for Von to get his game back.
-
He hasn't played since last year. He had no offseason program, no training camp or preseason. Do people really expect Von to be in mid-season form right away.
-
I wonder if London played a factor. When teams first started going there, they would have their bye week the next week. Now teams play the week after going to London. Take yesterday's game. The Ravens left for London on Monday and Titans did what the Bills did and waited until Thursday before going. Notice how the Ravens jumped out to a big lead in the first half. Same thing happened in the Bills-Jags game. I have never been to London so I don't know if the time change is a real thing or not but if it is that could explain the Bills being sluggish last night.

Given our injuries I wonder if the Bills and Giants can become trade partners at the deadline. We could use the help and the Giants have to be looking at 2024 at this point.
