I think Levi will eventually be that goalie, but he is young. He shouldn't have to carry a heavy workload just yet. The Sabres should and probably will look to shore up the defense with a trade. Probably also look to bring in a vet goalie who can split time with Levi if they aren't happy with what they have.

Bills now Vegas betting favorites to land Derrick Henry
Gregg replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
There is an article in today's Daily News about the Giants trading Saquon, but Beane really should call Schoen and see if either Lawrence or Williams are available. That would be a good move for the Bills and combined Oliver will help shore up the D-Line. -
Sabres are starting to come around. Too much talent on that team to continue to struggle.

If the Bills are going to talk to the Giants I would inquire about Leonard Williams or Dexter Lawrence if I were Beane. -
Blue jerseys, blue pants, white socks for Thursday Night Football
Gregg replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
They could wear pink dresses with yellow polka dots on them with purple high heeled hooker shoes and I wouldn't give a crap as long as they get to 5-3. -

Usually, I am not one to put much stock into scoring first. But given the past 2 weeks I think it's very important for the offense to start quick. A 7-0 lead early in the first quarter and then go from there. It will help their confidence. If they fall behind again and its looking like the Giants/Pats games, then it could snowball into 4-4. This message board will go nuclear if that happens.

Poll: McDermott’s biggest mistake so far was …
Gregg replied to GerstAusGosheim's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think Mahomes won that game. If there were 30 seconds, then sure as there is enough time to get into FG range especially with timeouts. If I remember correctly, they still had one maybe two. 13 seconds was a 100% screw up by McDermott, Frazier, and the defense. Mahomes, Kelce, Hill don't even factor into it with just 13 seconds. I don't care how good they are. 13 seconds is not enough time when you are starting at your own 25 unless the Bills totally choke which they did. -

Along with a much better OL and a defense that can step up in big moments. -

Remember the last time they made a change. Who could forget this POS look. -

Wearing the all-whites at home especially early in the year when it's hot out is fine. I agree that blue over white should be the primary home look. -

Meh. Only thing worse is the reds. At the end of the day just get the win and get to 5-3. -
Random talking head says something about the Bills
Gregg replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
If the Bills did move on from McDermott, then I would hope they keep Beane. He also has his faults, but I would want a football man in the organization leading the search for the next HC. Terry isn't that guy. -
OCT 23 WOUNDED BUCS? The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a short week to prepare for the Buffalo Bills ahead of their Thursday Night Football matchup. ... and as of Monday, they've got issues. The Buccaneers did not have a full practice, but they "estimated'' that Baker Mayfield would have missed the session with a knee injury. Also listed as DNPs: Receiver Chris Godwin (neck), guard Matt Feiler (knee), defensive tackle Vita Vea (groin), and safety (Kaevon Merriweather).

I don't feel sorry for any of them. They voted for it and now they must deal with the consequences.

Does LAC really have a home? I bet Bills fans will invade Sofi and it will sound like a neutral site game. If the Chargers weren't going to stay in SD, then they should have been the ones to start over in Vegas with the Raiders (who have more of a following in LA) going to Sofi with the Rams. LA is a weak market for the NFL. The Steelers fans owned Sofi this past Sunday vs the Rams.

On the flip side if Beane is fired then McDermott most likely is as well. New GM will probably want to bring in his coach and not be forced to work with Sean.

Did he if we don't count dead peoples votes?

McDermott did a great job in turning the culture around with this organization. He has been a highly successful regular season coach. Nobody would argue that. Sometimes players tune the coach after a while. I am not saying that is happening with the Bills because how would I know. I wouldn't. The problem here the Bills have been declining since 13 seconds. With that being said I think McDermott is back in 2024 but if things go south next year, then I could see a coaching change at that point.

The sad part is these 1 million will move into red states and still vote blue. It's like the saying goes "you can't fix stupid".

If Dorsey needs to be fired - McD needs to go
Gregg replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
When did Beane get two bites at the apple. He didn't even get one. McDermott got hired first. Recommended Beane for the GM job and the Pegula's hired him. If Beane were given the chance to hire the Bills next HC it would be his first time doing so. -
