  1. 13 seconds was the moment for me with McDermott. Even today I still cannot believe they couldn't defend a 3-point lead with just 13 seconds left and the Chiefs starting at their 25. That is a fire able offense. It should have been.
  2. Apparently, Halloween is offensive to the Libs now. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/halloween-canceled-nj-school-district-scraps-celebrations-to-promote-dei/ar-AA1iSAxg?fullscreen=true&cvid=985adbc5b8da4863bb8f14da9089fb59&ei=15#image=2
  3. Doubt this happens. Also Go Giants. I don't think that game will go our way either. Win tonight or looking at the real possibility of 3rd place in the division on Sunday.
  4. SF is considered a legit Super Bowl contender and they have lost their last 2. It's the ups and downs of the regular season. It happens.
  5. From today's Daily News. I don't know if the Bills could make it work cap wise. LEONARD WILLIAMS, DL: 20 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 5 QB hits, 1 blocked FG, 7 games Williams, 29, has stepped up in the final year of his expensive contract, which carries a void year in 2024. So he is the most attractive trade chip on the Giants’ roster. Imagine what adding Williams to an already strong defensive line could do for a contender. Similar to Barkley’s situation, trading Williams off the Giants would weaken the team and send a clear message that this organization is playing for the future more than the present. Still, he carries a team-high $32.2 million cap hit. It will be difficult if not impossible to retain him after this year. So if Schoen can get back 55% of Williams’ remaining cap hit, plus assets, a trade would make sense.
  6. Wouldn't surprise me if they do it when the new stadium is ready.
  7. With a 10% increase on the prices as well. No shock there as everything is going up. But the Nov 15 deadline when the 2023 season is still going on is surprising. https://nypost.com/2023/10/24/sports/jets-raising-season-ticket-prices-as-aaron-rodgers-drives-demand/
  8. Probably because Tampa isn't that good. Of course, the Giants aren't that good, and neither are the Pats and we saw what happened there. I don't expect the Bills to win big, but I expect them to win. They are undefeated at home so far unless you count the London "home game". You know that saying about a wounded animal that is backed into a corner and has no choice but to come out fighting. That is basically the Bills tonight. They know they really can't afford to go to Cincinnati 4-4 with the upcoming schedule in the second half of the season.
  9. Thursday night's uniforms. The Titans are bringing back the Houston Oilers look this weekend vs Atlanta. JMHO but that look belongs to the Texans since they are Houston's team now.
  10. Thursday night in Orchard Park in late October and the temps will be in the 60's. You can't ask for it any better than that from a weather standpoint.
  11. If they want any shot at a playoff run, then he has to get a DT. That is a top priority even more so than a #2 WR.
  12. America doesn't have one. We haven't for 3 years now.
  13. Seattle is going back to their classic uniforms this weekend vs the Browns. They should change back to these as they are so much better than the current uniforms.
  14. They were talking about the Bills on WFAN and Craig Carton chimed in. Blames McDermott for Allen's struggles. With the Buffalo Bills now 4-3 heading into Week 8, pressure is arising on them. Allen has faced a lot of criticism from the media this season, but Craig Carton believes that head coach Sean McDermott is to blame for Allen's regression this season. Here's what Carton said on his show: "They're a dysfunctional mess and to me, it's not so much about Josh, it's as much about Sean McDermott as it is about anything. But I would like them to allow Josh Allen to just go play football." "I think when you talk too much to young players, and try to mold them into what you think a prototypical quarterback or any position should be, you take away what makes him special. I think that's what's happening in Buffalo." "It's enough talk, let the kid meaning Josh Allen, just go out there and play football. The way he plays it, if he gets hurt, he gets hurt. If he throws a bad pick once in a while, he throws a bad pick, but they're messing with the kid's brain. And I think that's the biggest problem in Buffalo right now."
  15. You got that right. The weather in Orchard Park for Thursday. A high of 72 during the day and 63 at night. Thu 26 | Day 72° 24% SW12 mph Overcast. Slight chance of a rain shower. High 72F. Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph. Humidity69% UV Index2 of 11 Sunrise7:41 am Sunset6:15 pm Thu 26 | Night 63° 23% SSW13 mph Cloudy. Low 63F. Winds SSW at 10 to 20 mph.
  16. 1990 Super Bowl champions. WOO HOO!!!
  17. This is why I hope Beane can made a trade for a DT. I would have DT as the #1 priority, even more so than a #2 WR.
  18. Hopefully we get off to a fast start. Something like 7-0 with 10 minutes left in the 1st quarter and go from there. If Tampa is up 3-0 midway through the 2nd quarter, then gloom and doom posts on this board will be out full force. I think the Bills win but it will be close. 24-16.
  19. If the Giants lose on Sunday and fall to 2-6 then Beane has to call them and see if a deal can be worked out. I am sure he is looking at all options, but he does have history with Schoen working together in Buffalo.
