It's 12:50 PM on Tuesday afternoon and the Cowboys just scored another touchdown.
-
All the more reason he needs a good team. The Bills are probably going to ask fans to put a deposit down on PSL's either in 2024 or definitely by 2025. The Jets and Giants did a year before MetLife opened and I would imagine the Bills will do the same.
-
Or it could have come from Terry. He knows he needs a good team going into the new stadium with the prices he is going to charge. The new stadium will buy him a year as everyone will be curious to see the place. Once the novelty of the new stadium wears off then there will be empty seats all over the place for a bad team at those prices. This is also why I think McDermott is under pressure to turn it around now.
-
McDermott will get to the end of the season. But if things don't improve (I doubt they will) then he most likely is gone. I just hope Terry keeps Beane around. We need a football man in the organization who will lead the search for the next HC. Terry shouldn't be the one doing that.

Poor coaching by McDermott is becoming a theme

Why would Beane want out? It would be business as usual, and he would be the one leading the search for the next HC. Coaches and GM's get hired and fired all the time in sports. I doubt Beane would want out if McDermott got fired. -
Probably not.

McDermott next?

Will a win over the Jets to get to 6-5 bring everyone back in?!?!

Have you watched the Bills offense lately. That Jets defense is going to dominate. -

But he does have a Lombardi. He may be overrated but he is still a good coach. -
On the flip side the Steelers seem to get dominated statistically every week. They are losing for long stretches during the course of the game. Then in the 4th quarter they pull out a win and win close games all the time. They are the opposite of the Bills.
-
It is fixable but not this year. New HC, OC, DC after the season and then they can start to fix things. Won't happen with the current coaches.
-
We don't deserve this. Bills fans aren't accepting this trash. We want changes made but our opinions are meaningless. Only Terry can change things. Will he? I hope so but who knows.

No “I quit the Bills” threads on TBD!? I am shocked!

I think Terry has to. New stadium is not far off. Raised ticket prices, PSL fees. If the Bills do what the Jets/Giants did then they are going to ask fans for a deposit on the PSL fees and will do it in 2024 or 2025 to lock them into their seats when the stadium opens in 2026. It will be a lot easier to ask for that if the team is on the upswing. With McDermott that is clearly not going to be the case. Beane might not be safe either. -

Tomlin seems a lot like McDermott in that he is also wound tight. Yet he wins close games almost every single week. -
Has nothing to do with going out on limb. Just knew it would be another heartbreaking loss like the NE game.
-
You are correct. When the Bills made it 22-21 the first thing, I said was they will lose 24-22.
-
Any chance we can lose enough to have a shot at Marvin Harrison Jr. He would be a great #2 with Diggs. He might even make Diggs the #2. I am already thinking about the 2024 draft since this season is RIP.
-
If he and Michigan part ways. This could be the way to go.

Being swept by a Zach Wilson led football team. Priceless. -
Wait until the new stadium kicks in with those raised ticket prices and PSL fees. Wait until the new stadium kicks in with those raised ticket prices and PSL fees.

If you go by the Sabres then you know Terry has what it takes. He has fired and hired many GM's/HC's as Sabres owner. IMHO, he has no choice but to fire McDermott. The team seems to have tuned McDermott out and his message has gone stale. I doubt the players believe in "THE PROCESS" anymore. The fans certainly don't.

I think if the Bengals lose this Thursday at Baltimore, then they are done. The Ravens will be 8-3 and will have swept the season series from the Bengals who would then drop to 5-5 with a loss.
