TNF: Bengals vs Ravens - Who are we rooting for?

I would be happy if the Raiders and Bills win. If this happens then it was a good Sunday, no matter what the results of the other games are. -
TNF: Bengals vs Ravens - Who are we rooting for?

Assuming we could lose one more game the Eagles game is probably the one to lose. I hope they win of course but it's on the road against an NFC team. Dallas, we have to win simply because we can't afford another home loss. IMHO. Beating the Jets, Chiefs, Pats, and Dolphins is what we need being division/conference foes. -
You are preaching to the choir here. I think it's time to move on from McDermott, but my opinion is meaningless. Have to wait and see what Terry does.

I agree with you, but this is Beane and McDermott we are talking about. You know how Sean loves his defense.

Ravens in this game but the real answer is Raiders. Division title is the best chance for a playoff spot. Unfortunately, I don't see the Raiders beating the Dolphins. -
Or secondary help. Who knows if Tre comes back. Poyer and Hyde are over 30.

Do you want Sean McDermott to be the head coach of the 2024 Buffalo Bills?
Gregg replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
That would be up to Pegula or Beane if he doesn't get fired as well. The names that have been mentioned already on this board are probably what the Bills will look to interview. But we (fans) have no idea. McDermott might not even get fired. If the Bills fail to make the playoffs, I could see Pegula giving him the 2024 season, but his seat would probably be hot if he failed again. -
They better have a roof. Could you imagine playing baseball outside in Vegas from June thru mid-September.

The only proven winner who will probably be available is Bill. He is a proven winner with an elite level QB. If Pegula did hire Bill, then his OC pick to work with Josh would be the important hire since Bill comes from the defensive side of the ball. Otherwise as mentioned by others on this board Lions OC Ben Johnson or Eagles OC Brian Johnson would probably be the type of coach the Bills would look to hire.

This is probably the most realistic scenario.

Our defense is good enough to stop the Jets. First Wilson sucks. Second Breece hasn't been running all that well as their OL is in shambles. After G. Wilson they don't have much at wide receiver. It should be a low scoring game. As long as the Bills don't turn it over (big if I know) they should win especially at home. Also, the Jets shoot themselves in the foot with penalties all the time which also plays a big role in the offensive struggles.

I remember that night. Isles fans abused him so much I thought he was going to cry.

Josh Allen needs his Phil Jackson…(edited title)
Gregg replied to Lenigmusx's topic in The Stadium Wall
Does this mean Mahomes is Jordan with the Bulls and Allen is Ewing with the Knicks. -
This morning on WFAN (Boomer and Gio show) they said Taylor Swift's parents and Travis Kelce's parents are going to be watching the Eagles-Chiefs game from the same booth on Monday night. So, get ready for a lot of do their parents get along BS. Not that anyone cares but this will be shoved down our throats whether we like it or not.

Maybe some but overall, I think fanbase appreciates what McDermott did for the Bills. He changed the culture from a losing one to a winning one. He won the division 3 straight years and made the playoffs more often than not. But he has not been able to get the team over the hump. It's not about the culture anymore. It's about championships. He has been here 7 years and still no Super Bowl appearances much less a Super Bowl win. Team has also been in decline since 13 seconds. It also sounds like his message is getting stale/old with the players. I just think fans are ready to move on and go with a more offensive coach who can get the most out of Josh Allen which us gives the best chance to win it all.

With or without McDermott there is going to be significant change to the roster. Along with upgrading the talent they have to get younger. To many over 30 and nearing the end of their careers or will be on the decline. The core will be somewhat different around Allen in 2024. They can't and won't try to run it back with the same team. It's not working now, and it definitely won't work in the future as many key players get older.
