  1. This is a good point. With the bye week now, I could see the Bills bringing in a kicker if Bass isn't getting it done. He didn't yesterday.
  2. That is a fair point. But when it came down to crunch time the Bills offense got them the lead late in the 4th quarter and the defense failed to step up at the most important time. Even in OT they had the lead and failed again.
  3. Even with the INT it was Allen who led a drive to give them the lead late in the 4th quarter. Maybe the defense can step just once in a big spot, and we are 7-5 today if they did. Even if Allen leads the league in INT's, he also is the league leader in total TD's.
  4. Bill is a terrible GM. If he leaves the Pats and the Bills show interest, then Pegula needs to tell him that Beane will put the roster together and Bill will coach it. Let's be honest GOD couldn't win with Mac Jones as is QB. He is Zach Wilson level bad. But if Bill came to the Bills, he would have Josh Allen to work with. The record speaks for itself. Bill with an elite level QB knows how to win and win big.
  5. I think if Harbaugh leaves Michigan, then I could see the Bears as a landing spot for him.
  6. 9 Super Bowl appearances with 6 Super Bowl championships with an elite level QB and a solid roster around that QB. I am 100% positive that it is Bill Belichick. He is the only proven winner as a HC that the Bills can get. You want to hire an OC from another team who would be a first time HC. Maybe it works. Maybe it doesn't. With Bill you know what you would be getting. Bill with Josh and this roster would give us a good chance to get to the Super Bowl. McDermott isn't getting us there.
  7. That is fine if it's just for 2 or 3 years. The Bills have a lot of older players on the roster. This team maybe has 2 years at most to win a Super Bowl with the current core group around Allen although I do think some changes need to be made to the roster. Bill is what 70, 71? He is not interested in a long rebuild. Bill wants to win now, and the Bills have to win soon with this current core group. Perfect match.
  8. The NFLN is going to replay this game a bunch of times this week. I won't watch of course but it would be nice to win a game like this so I could enjoy watching the replay for a change.
  9. This team has been declining since 13 seconds and getting further and further away from a Super Bowl. I mentioned this in another thread, but I would love to hear from Terry Pegula. We will have to wait until after the season most likely.
  10. If I remember correctly Terry said in an interview when they got hired that both men will report to him. Both Beane and McDermott have one boss in Terry. He also said at the time that Beane will have final say on all GM related matters and McDermott has it on coaching related matters.
  11. Coaching is holding this team back. McDermott should be the fall guy for this. Let Beane make his first coaching hire. If McDermott does get fired and Beane stays, then he will be the next one to go if they don't get it fixed. I know this won't happen, but I would love the hear from Terry Pegula since his opinion is the only one that counts.
  12. I think you are probably right. It's only been 2 games, but Brady has done a great job as OC and against 2 very good defenses in the Jets and Eagles. He also has Allen playing at an elite level. But if Terry does make a change and Bill becomes available then give me the six-time Super Bowl championship winning coach who also went to nine Super Bowls with an elite level QB. He is also a much better DC than McDermott whose defenses can come up with key stops in big moments. The INT at the goal line in the Super Bowl vs the Seahawks. Beating the Rams in the Super Bowl 13-3. Or how about in game adjustments something McDermott doesn't know anything about. Trailing the Falcons 28-3 in the Super Bowl. Bill makes adjustments and they shut them out the rest of the way for a 34-28 OT. As an added bonus Bill will want to stick it to Kraft next year so he will want to curb stomp the Pats twice. He already hates the Jets and has made them his personal "B". What is it 16 straight wins against them or something like that.
  13. Dolphins also have some tough games to play. Raiders at Jets at Commanders Titans Jets Cowboys at Ravens Bills.
  14. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/paul-finebaum-jim-harbaugh-will-bail-out-of-michigan-any-way-every-way-after-2023-season/ar-AA1k5ToU?ocid=entnewsntp&pc=DCTS&cvid=a19857ec7e6c47b0b09cb23aa824f39a&ei=12
  15. Terry knows he needs a competitive team going into the new stadium. I am sure Beane and McDermott are facing pressure to turn this around. Like you said... good luck asking fans to pay a big increase in ticket prices along with PSL fees for a crap product. Terry can ask Johnson and Mara how that worked out. It didn't.
  16. The most baffling thing to me with the AFC is how the Steelers are 6-3. I know they have a good defense and Watt is a game changer. I know Tomlin can coach. It seems like every week their offense struggles for 2.5 to 3 quarters of the game. They are usually losing most of the day in a low scoring game. They have Pickett who is up and down at QB. Yet they seem to pull out a victory in the 4th quarter almost every time.
  17. I will say the Jets do treat the games against the Bills like their personal Super Bowl. But with Wilson at QB and G. Wilson questionable I don't see the Jets having a lot of success on offense either. Even if G. Wilson plays, I doubt he will be 100%. I expect a low scoring game this Sunday.
  18. After the Giants game the change probably should have been made. That was a game the Bills should have won in blowout. But they were shutout in the 1st half and managed only 14 points to barely escape with a win.
  19. I like the optimism but not going to happen against this Jets defense. I do think the Bills will win. Going with 16-13. Another low-scoring hard-fought battle against the them.
  20. Add it all up and KC will find a way to get the #1 seed again
  21. Season over. Hate to see anyone get hurt. As a football fan it is fun watching Burrow play.
  22. Beane is at least a football man. We don't know if he would fail to hire a good HC since McDermott was here before him. If Beane gets the opportunity to hire a HC it would be his first time. Now if Terry fires both of them then I wouldn't feel confident that he could find the right replacements.
