Fair point. I am not saying play the starters as they should sit to get ready for the playoffs. Anyone who is dealing with any kind of injury will obviously sit. When the Bills backups are out there, I hope they can beat the Pats and get that 14th win. If they don't who cares. 14-3 or 13-4 #2 seed. It doesn't make a difference. Just get through this game with no injuries.

In my company's office pool, the spread is Ravens -17.5. I took the Ravens and gave the points. I think this will be a 3-score win for the Ravens.

If the Bills are Ravens are #2 and #3 respectively and they both win on WC weekend, then they are playing in the divisional round. KC would get the winner in the #4 vs #5 game which is most likely the Texans or Steelers. I forgot about this scenario, but I would be shocked if the Ravens lose on Saturday. I think they are going to win in a blowout.

Winning this game or not isn't really important for the Bills unless you consider no Bills team in their history has won 14 games in a season. The best the Bills have ever done is 13-3. I agree with you about coming out of this game with no injuries as that is the most important thing for the Bills. After that I would like to see a win and get to 14-3 and have 2024 Bills as the only Bills team to win 14 games in a year.

I want the Bills to play the Broncos on WC weekend so Broncos over Chiefs. This scenario eliminates the Dolphins and Bengals which is fine by me.

Maybe we get lucky, and the Steelers/Texans winner upsets the Chiefs in the divisional round. Or even better the Chargers upset the Ravens on WC weekend and then do the same to the Chiefs in the divisional round. But it is looking like the road to the Super Bowl for the Bills will be Broncos, Ravens, at Chiefs.

So, how is everyone feeling about this defense going into the playoffs?

I have no idea. But I will say if the Bills defense disappoints AGAIN in these playoffs, then both of them need to rethink about how the defense should be built. Because what they have really isn't working and that is obvious when they go up against good teams with good QB's. -

Beane needs to be held accountable here as well. He is the GM. He is the one responsible for putting the roster together. Stopping the run and not being able to generate a pass rush with the front 4 are two of the main reasons the Bills haven't played in and won a Super Bowl. -

I think they can against Denver. But against Baltimore and KC no they can't. The Bills are going to have to score a lot in those games. The Broncos game they can probably win with 20 to 24 points. -
Cook has 981 yards rushing. Just 19 short of 1,000. I wonder if McDermott lets him have a series or two to try and get it. The Eagles are sitting Barkley, and he is close to breaking Dickerson "fake" rushing record. We all know 2,003 in 14 games is the real gold standard not 2,105 in 16 games.

Assuming no upsets on WC weekend the Ravens offense will be just as dangerous. Plus, they have a better defense than the Bengals. My guess is the Bills will have to go through the Broncos, Ravens, and Chiefs to get to the Super Bowl. That will not be easy. -
I would be shocked if Denver who needs the game loses at home to the Chiefs backups. Anything can happen but I am pretty confident it will be the Broncos at Bills on WC weekend.

I really hope the Bills can sign him up to a nice deal. He has really taken the pressure off of Allen and gives the Bills 2 elite level playmakers on offense. 981 yards rushing with 15 TD's along with 258 yards receiving and 2 TD's.

I won't see the Bills game. I will be at the Jets - Dolphins game. I think I will wear my Bills jersey just to troll both fanbases
-
Cook should be on the list. Next to Allen he is our best player on offense.

They would need to beat the Steelers which they can certainly do but I don't see the Chiefs backups beating the Broncos in Denver. I also think the Fins beat the Jets. The chances of them making the playoffs are not good. -
Nantz and Romo are calling the Broncos - Chiefs game. The Bills get. Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots (Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta, Aditi Kinkhabwala)
-
Just get out of the game with no injuries. 14-3 or 13-4 doesn't change the fact that the Bills are the #2 seed. It's all about the playoffs now starting with WC weekend.

Unless there is an upset during WC weekend then prepare yourself to be terrified in the divisional round when its Ravens at Bills.
