It’s Chiefs week - and the season is on the line
Gregg replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Chiefs defense is going into this game banged up. They suffered some key injuries at GB. I think they are down to #3 on the depth chart at MLB. This game could be like the Philly game and be 37-34. Maybe we will end up the right side of the scoreboard this time. -
Unless someone "corrects" him the same way Grady "corrected" his wife and daughters in The Shining

They gave a great effort in Philly as well. -
Any word on the injury to Trevor. Haven't heard how much time he will miss. It didn't look good.

Mahomes has a few things in his favor over Allen. He has a much better HC and coaching staff in general. A much better OL. The best TE in football. For a while a great WR in Tyreek Hill when he was there. His defense knows how to get critical stops in big games. Allen's D can't protect a 3-point lead with 13 left and the other team starting at their 25. Talent, wise I think Mahomes and Allen are equal, but he is considered the best because of those two Lombardi trophies while Allen has none. -
It's a nice thought getting Marvin Harrison Jr, but the Bills record isn't bad enough. He might even go #1 in the draft.

Actually, both JD and Saleh wanted to sign Carr but were overruled by Johnson who wanted Rodgers. If the Rodgers signing blows up in their faces, then that is on Johnson. JD messed up by not bringing in a decent backup QB. Nobody expected Rodgers to be out for the year but at 40 behind that OL the chances of him getting hurt were pretty good. They should have known that Zach isn't the answer at this point. It cost them the season.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/report-zach-wilson-reluctant-to-step-back-in-for-jets/ar-AA1kZC4j?ocid=entnewsntp&pc=DCTS&cvid=b2c870dfb9ae41da9d6855456d027a79&ei=10 This is a bad look for Zach. His career with them is over but he needs to play as it is an audition for other teams around the league. Maybe he can get a fresh start somewhere else. Acting like a baby/spoiled brat won't help his career going forward.

LOL if this is true. The Jets want to go back to Wilson but Zach refuses to play. If true this is truly a clown show. It is anyway but this makes it worse. The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports Zach Wilson is “reluctant to stepping back in” for the Jets as their starting quarterback. The Jets have tried Wilson, Tim Boyle, and Trevor Siemian at quarterback and aren’t any closer to an answer at the position than they were when they benched Wilson for Week 12. According to Russini, the Jets would like to go back to Wilson again, but his reluctance to step back in as the starter could force them to sign a veteran free agent off the streets. Wilson has thrown for 1,944 yards, six touchdowns, and seven interceptions for the Jets this season while going 3-6. The former No. 2 overall pick will likely be on a new team in 2024 or out of the league, but his future with the Jets is all but sealed at this point. 42m ago Source: Dianna Russini
