  1. I'm assuming you meant 1990 -1992?
  2. Not feeling good about this game. These are the types of "Hang around" games the usually Bills lose. A loss Vs. an unprepared Zach Wilson would be disgrafull.
  3. I don't see the Chiefs, Ravens, jets or Dolphins doing dumpster dives for very marginal talent. The Bills are acting more like a bottom feeder team than a SB contender. These moves remind me of Bills circa 1998 thru 2016. The linebacker situation is baffling. It's a major hole, and Beane is treating it like it's a position like long snapper or punter. Beane's always crying about cap space.. I don't hear the above mentioned teams who also have very expensive players complaining about available $$$. They are making big moves.
  4. This Bills certainly didn't win the draft, but they did very, very well indeed. The Bills did exactly what I had hoped they’d do in this draft by bolstering their offensive skill player position group with Kincaid. In retrospect I'd pick Kincaid over ANY of the WR's in the draft!! He brings high-end movement skills and toughness after the catch, and should be able to give Josh a much-needed boost on passes to the short and intermediate areas where the Bills struggled last year!!. Kelce can't really block either, and no one seems to care. They got crazy value in Torrence, a player most would have been happy if they took at 27.. Unlike everyone else, I love the William's pick. He’s a rangy, aggressive playmaker at the second level, his wingspan and speed rivals Edmunds. I bet he wins the ILB job outright by mid-season. He reminds me of Hamlin...... Shorter gives the Bills a developmental player with high-end athletic traits. Could be a real sleeper pick... Go Beane. The Bills are still the cream of the AFC East.
  5. This conversation is as pointless as those still stating that the Bills should get a dome. That ship sailed way over 2 years ago. Same with the nonsensical D-Hop talk. Beane stated emphatically again yesterday that - "He's open to any free agent receiver, as long as they'll play for about $2M dollars. We have no cap space, and we aren't setting out team back financially for 2023 or 2024". That's about as clear cut is it can get, yet here we are. Some people just like to waste our time I guess.
  6. Williams will also be OLB insurance when Milano inevitably misses a few games. Speed and passing are king in the NFL now. I like the pick.
  7. All these top teams in the NFL are paying their QB's (BTW, and getting much more than Josh is getting)..... AND signing big name free agents, and making moves....!! Is Ralph back running the Bills??? Top 7 teams (based on actual roster talent!!) - Chiefs - Eagles - Bengals - Ravens - Jets - Dolphins - Bills.... Josh STILL l has to do it all, and that's on Beane! The Bills are essentially the same team that moped back to their lockers back in January (Only without Edmonds)... Frankly my above list might be generous for the Bills. Get real.. Nobody that the Bills can draft this weekend is a difference maker for the Bills.... Better get D-HOP, and NOW!!
  8. Big Yawn... Lets be serious if we dare. What about this team as constituted right now makes anyone reasonable think they can make it to the AFC Championship game? It's basically the same squad with a couple of fringe receivers and OL's added. I'm sure the Chiefs and Bengals, and even the Jets are shivering in their boots because the Bills have signed Hardy, McGovern, Harris, and Sherfield to some low-ball contracts. Nobody they draft is going to scare anyone either. If anything, there's even more pressure on Josh to carry them on his back in 2023 than last year... Bills have gotten older, and LESS talented then they were 4 months ago. 10 wins, 3rd place... Maybe.
  9. Stop, your making too much sense. Folks here tend to WAY over analyze every Bills move. Bills had no real quality backups to often injured lately P&H. This solves the issue. EZ -PZ ...... 3 paragraphs not needed.
  10. Plenty of highly regarded TE's in this years draft. Some real bargains can supposedly be had in the later rounds. Plenty of highly regarded TE's in this years draft. 11. I have full complete faith and trust in the Beane & McDermott tandem. Time is always the truth teller, but I think given the budget constraints, Beane has so far had a magnificent draft. Just need to sign and draft an ILB to replace Edmunds, and Beane can go into the draft ready to sign the best available in each round of the draft. Signing Quessenberry helps that cause.
  12. Enough of the "Why can't we have nice things" comments. It's old. Bills have, and have had one of the top 5 payrolls in the league. They've been BIG spenders the last 3 years. Phlly and Cincy have been paying bus fare for their QB's the last 3 years!! Buffalo has a new state of the art stadium coming, one of the top paid QB's, WR, TE, Safety, and D-lineman in the league. Outside of a replacement for Edmunds, and some solid draft picks, I think the Bills are set right now. Just need the injured players to come back and have their normal big seasons this year!!
  13. Fabulous News!!!!! Bills were almost gone a half dozen times at least. Be nice to have a stadium with super-wide concourses, where your also protected from the cold and wind. Decent food restaurants, and giant restrooms, Fabulous giant sized 4K high definition video screens. Welcome to the NFL Bills fans... If not for the legend of the Bills mafia, they'd be long gone!!!.... And the Pegulas and Ralph of course as well..
  14. Beane was cool and calm as ever during yesterdays presser. No doubt he has some offers out their. He noted the need at LB, RB, WR. I'm a little concerned that he thinks the O-Line is in "Pretty good shape", but no doubt they will draft an O-Lineman or two. He also seemed to indicate that Damar is trending up, and looks like he'll be back with the Bills by May!! I like where the Bills are. This was a 14 win team with tons of injuries, and oddball oddities that happened to them last year. Our world class QB will be healthy, Tre, Miller will be back, and we have the Poyer/Hyde tandem back for up to 2 more years!!! If Bills get a stout LB,(Especially against the run where Edmunds was mostly useless) the Bills will be primed for another SB run...
  15. Best signing so far! I knew as soon as Edmunds left, that Beane was not going to let both Edmunds AND Poyer go. Just too many big pieces of the Bills recent success out the door.. This is VERY good news!!! Someone who drives from Buffalo to KC injured to play in a big games heart was truly in Buffalo. Welcome back Po.. Hope you retire as a Bill.
  16. Who's kidding who here? There are no more "Under the radar guys" in the NFL! This is not 1967. Every NFL players decent catches, TD's, impact plays are covered ad-nauseam across literally hundreds of networks, podcasts, FB, Instagram, YouTube, etc. etc. Donte Hardy/Harris doesn't ring many bells, the same way most fringe players don't get much attention, by not doing that much except a few flash plays.... I guess this truly will be the year when Beane digs through the NFL dumpsters for some saviors, while the Dolphins and Jet's are shopping on 5th Avenue. If this continues I'm afraid It'll be reflected in the standings come next January.
  17. No thanks. No big difference between this guy and McKenzie. McKenzie wasn't used right last year. Good locker room guy. Hopefully this is fake. Beane needs to start stepping up. Good impactful LB's, OT's, and WR's are dropping off the available FA list hourly. Right now, Bills are no better than 3rd place in the AFC East. Hopefully Poyer is retained. Can't lose both TE and GP. No replacements will be as good as those two. Wake up Beane.
  18. I agree. Even if the deal is a bit heftier the Bills should sign him ASAP. Just for continuity, the Bills can't lose both TE and JP and just think the D is going to just hum along. I would love a couple more years of the Hyde and Poyer show. The most dynamic duo in the NFL!! C'mon Beane, bring him back!!
  19. Bills need to get on the stick, and quick. Good players are falling off the FA list hourly. Bernard looks like another wasted pick. I think for continuity, Bills should take a serious look at keeping Poyer! Bills can't lose both TE and JP and think their going to be the same or better. As of right now, the Bills are 3rd in the AFC East.. On merit..
  20. It's Terrel Bernard time. More money to spend for a WR/O-Line..
  21. According to WhoScored and PFF McGovern is a middling pass blocker (Ranked 17th) and a pretty bad run blocker (Rated 31st).. Nothing to get excited about. Meanwhile, Edmonds to the Bears for 4 years $95M.. $50M guaranteed..... I guess too expensive for the Bills?
  22. Go ahead and move to your beloved red state paradise. I prefer to keep my freedoms.
  23. More whistling pass the graveyard for Bills fans. It's comical. If the Bills signed Ramsey under those conditions, there'd be Bills fans gloating all around. Same Bills fans also think losing Poyer "He's old and washed up", and Edmunds "Highly overrated and a liability". is a plus!!. The Jets and Dolphins are making big times moves, while the Bills go backwards. Josh and Diggs can only carry us so far. At this point in time (Considering Edmunds and Poyer are gone). The Bills are a 3rd place team in the division, and it's not even close. Beane better get going!!
  24. This ONLY makes sense if Justin Fields is the real deal, which is not a sure thing at this point. Nice haul though...... As we have learned first hand in Buffalo, In the NFL, the QB is EVERYTHING! You get very, very few shots at ever having the overall #1 pick..... Like Vince Lombardi famously said back in the 60's- "The NFL is the worlds greatest sport, but is has one very big flaw, the QB is far too critical Vs. the rest of the players".... It seems like this is being proven more and more each year. Good luck Bears.. It's really a big roll of the dice..
  25. Edmunds is going to ball out somewhere. I hope it's in the NFC. He's just turning 25, and has been the defensive leader on this team since he was 21. The team was never any worse than #5 overall team defense when he was the leader. Poyer is also going to be a huge loss. You don't just bring in a couple of middling LB's and safety from free agency and not drop on performance. Most here just have just said "Just get Josh more weapons". I agree to a point, but this Bills team will look entirely different on D from this point forward. It's like trying to imagine the 1990's Bills without Cornelius Bennett and Mark Kelso.
