Like taxpayer funded stadiums that politicians decided it was OK to steal the taxpayers' money. -

Here's a thought, they're not paying for streaming services anyway. -
And take your pants off, at least out-do Brown.

Allen only had five games last season with 2 INTs. Of those, we won three. The other loss was that insane game in Miami in the heat. In other related news, Davis has 8 catches and all 8 have gone for 1st Downs or in one case a TD. All have been on scoring drives, all but one on TD drives. FWIW -

To All You Dorsey/McD Haters What Say You Now ?

Let's wait till the playoffs before we finalize any judgements. We all have our suspicions one way or another. It'll work out, or it won't. Super Bowl parade, we'll all be happy. Early loss, we won't be. Pretty simple. -
I know that the Raider D isn't the best, but let's hope the balance continues anyway. I'm eager to watch this offense all season. Reminds me of Air Coryell. ... except that Allen can move, Fouts couldn't. LOL

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
PBF81 replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Some excerpts: A man who told police he had consumed several drugs was ticketed Sunday after he scaled a fence and fell naked into the pit at the construction site for the new Buffalo Bills stadium, Erie County sheriff's officials said. ... He went inside a portable toilet, covered himself in the contents of the toilet before exiting, stripping naked and jumping the 10-foot fence of the construction site. ... As security approached the man, he started running toward the construction site. After scaling the fence, he ran and fell down one level of the pit. Then he got up, ran and fell again, this time to the bottom of the pit, which is about 30 feet below grade. ... As the Sheriff's Office's helicopter, Air One, descended toward the scene, the man – as he laid in the pit – gave the "peace sign" to the crew with one hand while making an obscene gesture with the other, Sheriff John Garcia said. ... While at the construction site, the man told deputies he was under the influence of LSD, marijuana and cocaine. The people the man had been with prior to the game apparently "just abandoned him," Garcia said, and entered the stadium for the game. ... Sounds like the dude had a banner fun day! Eight people were ejected from the stadium during the game, he said. Overall, he called it the "best behaved crowd" at a Bills home game since he became sheriff. I don't know how that compares to the rest of the NFL, but LOL. -
Any solutions that you know of?

Our offense is very balanced, thus far, also. That's a huge positive.

Josh Allen made some history with his 3 TDs

LOL at the small print. And Grevey's, now there's a blast from the past. They've been closed for what, a decade, more? -
Yeah, but you know, gotta appease the mobs in society. That's what it's all about these days, social media mobs. I don't even know the girl and only saw a few snippets of her gigs at camp, but nothing struck me as if she more of a color commentator than anything else. Nothing struck me as impressive, and not that any of that matters. But dang, one little thing in a world where weeks ago everyone was all over Diggs like a cheap suit, and the reactions, ... SMH ... I guess on one hand she should be grateful that she has a job in that way. I guess when you're employed by the team like that, it's more important to be a cheerleader than it is to be anything else. I guess one has to remember that, mic on or off. Agree though, the extent of this is stupid over-the-top. And for the love of civility, the girl deserves a mulligan either way.

People overreact to Ws and Ls. Sometimes there are positives to take from the Ls. I don't see much positive in our offensive struggles in three straight games now against the Jets, except for our OL play. Again, our five starting OL-men each played 100% snaps last week and played admirably considering the Jets' D. As I've mentioned, as that chemistry builds we're going to see an OL that we simply haven't seen on McBeane's watch to date. It will benefit Allen immensely and allow him to calmly correct his few flaws, and provide us a balanced attack. Big things in store for the O this season IMO.

The most encouraging part of the offense as I view it, is the play of the OL and the fact that our starting five are essentially taking all the snaps. No more rotating players. This is the first time on McBeane's watch that I recall that being the case. Our 5 starting OL-men each had 100% snaps last week. This week Brown and Torrence were at 100%, McGovern and Dawkins at 95%, and Morse at 92%, with Edwards, Van Demark, and Bates exclusively backing them up respectively. I didn't watch when the subs came, but presumably at the end of the game when it was well in hand. The relevance of that is incredible. For the first time in years we are likely going to have a level of chemistry along our OL and we're about to see what that looks like. That will help Allen's game tremdendously, and it goes without saying that the running game will be boosted significantly as well. I'm still incredibly bullish that this offense sets franchise records this season. It's too early to extrapolate projections, but I would not rule out both Diggs and Davis over 1,000, Kincaid appears to already be Allen's third favorite and we may yet see a 700-800 yard season from the rookie as he's apparently supplanted Knox in the receiving department. And Cook, great game. He's on pace for over 300 touches. Hopefully he holds up. Very exciting game yesterday. Currently Cook/Diggs/Davis rank 8th, 21st, and 47th in Yards-from-Scrimmage. That's three players in the top-48. I'm anticipating all three finishing in the top-50 easily. And honestly, I don't care if we do go 10-7, even if it means a wild-card, but then sweep in the playoffs. Division wins aren't the goal, a Lombardi is. If our OL stays healthy though, dang, I'm giddy at the prospects for this offense.

Bills sign Latavius Murray to a one-year deal
PBF81 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's fine. Gotta keep the statements in context however. Go look at the overreactions to his signing. Again, if at the end of the season he has two or three hundred rushing yards and two or three TDs, I don't think anyone's going to be matching those claims much less suggesting that he was an indispensible part of the offense. If he weren't on the field yesterday it wouldn't have changed much in terms of the outcome. Someone else would scored on that or the next two plays. He's a backup, that's all. That's all he's going to be all season. The D we played was not good, they sucked last season. He's got 48 YFS to date. If he were to average that every two games he'll post about 400 YFS by season's end. I doubt he'll even do that. He's averaging 3.8 YPC on the season, which is low-end. Granted, only two games. Either way, our offense, and therefore our team, is going to go as our offense goes, and the biggest contributing factors there are going to be the OL, which has been much better than the preseason rankings generally speaking, Diggs, Davis (who's on pace for 1,000), Kincaid, Knox, and Cook/Harris. Allen of course too but that goes w/o saying. Reacting/over-reacting like this on a week-to-week basis is not good analysis on the season. LOL At the end of the day, Murray's a fine backup, but a backup nonetheless. Based on his age, almost 34, and his career 4.2 YPC history, which isn't likely to increase much at this point, his utility is limited. If Cook and Harris were to go down, we'd be looking for a replacement, he wouldn't cut it. There's very little NFL history to suggest otherwise. I used to like Murray a lot when he was on the Raiders. But at 34 his role is clearly as a backup/role-playing RB. That's not to say he won't make an exceptional play now and then, most players do. Framing them in a singular or all but singular manner, ... LOL And who knows, for those looking for others to be wrong, hey, I could be. But when he offers something significant over Cook/Harris in games against the better Ds that we face, then and only then will that be the case. Who knows, maybe he'll dig up the stamina to post 1,000 yard 5.6 YPC rushing season if Cook goes down. At the end of the day, I don't care if people are happy if someone else is wrong. I personally don't validate myself and derive any self-esteem from proving others wrong even if they are. I also don't mind if people do that at my seeming expense. My opinions on Murray have not wavered. If people misunderstand them, that's on them, I don't care. Also, as I said before the game in predicting this type of offensive performance for us, on D the Jets were brutal in their season/home opener, the Raiders easy in our home-opener. The truth as to how good our O is, and the individual players on it, will lie in how well we play the tougher defenses like Miami, NE, and Jax in the upcoming weeks. The schedule obviously gets tougher in the second half of the season. I suspect that our offense continues to improve, but no, I also don't anticipate Murray being an essential part of that improvement. As stated, how good our O ultimately is will come down to Allen/Diggs/Davis/Kincaid/Knox and Cook/Harris, and our OL in particular. Arguably the biggest positive generally speaking, to me anyway, is the high snap counts of our OL again. While not 100% across the board, both Brown, who played well, and Torrence were both at 100%, which is incredibly encouraging. Morse at 92%, and Dawkins and McGovern both at 95% is a fantastic sign as well. I wasn't really paying attention to the OL substitutions yesterday, but I'm gussing that Van Demark, Bates and Edwards all came in towards the end of the game to spell our seniors. LOL Washington shouldn't be too bad next week. The Miami game after that should reveal more as to what this team is all about.
