  1. One of my favorites coming back!
    1. He was terrible with rams but with ravens (limited role and getting healthy) he was decent.

    2. He likely won’t be starting. Bigger point is this does NOT impact draft plans. We need an outside corner coming off bench. I’m cool with Tre being that guy and veteran presence.

    3. 0% he will be a safety. That’s not a fit at all

    4. He’s significantly better than Dane Jackson. Almost anyone is

Here's my one and only Bills mock draft. I traded up with Minnesota twice to get higher quality players, under the logic that Minnesota needs more picks.

In Revel I got a legitimate 1st round prospect that fills a need and has upside to become an elite player. In Kyle Williams I got the vertical WR this roster desperately needs. In Collins, Jackson, and Robinson I hopefully have rebuilt the DL. Tuten is a speedy RB that can get on the roster as a kick returner. Zy Alexander felt like too good of value to pass up that late in the draft and might knock Dane Jackson off the roster. Vinson is developmental OL depth, get him in an NFL weight building program and stash him on the PS.

This is my favorite mock I have seen and would be thrilled if this is how it turned out.

Am I the only one who thinks Vrabel is overrated?

I've still got Miami in 2nd.

I think it’s that cliche his players play hard for him and the fact he did have success with Titans.  They were the 1 seed who every team wished to face in 2021 (he was named coach of the year)  So he is does have some proven record and success without a good QB (Tannehill) unlike some unknown hires by teams that end up failing miserably.

Douglas was not “really bad” last year. Was he great? No. He was a middle of the road boundary corner. The rest of your analysis is spot on.

Not sure but the eye test was really bad. He was picked on quite a bit last year. If you do hold any stock in PFF value then I’m actually being generous. Was ranked the  122nd CB, no picks, 123.7 passer rating when targeted. Don’t think I would put that in the middle of round boundary corner. As noted though absolutely would want him over Dane Jackson

  5. Both main points from this post are true.

Douglas was really bad last year. If bills bring him back to be CB2 that doesn’t bring confidence and joy to folks here.

How things stand today (I think before season start draft or veteran cut and signed will solve this) Douglas > Jackson.  Dane Jackson as CB4, fine. I would cringe even as first option  off the bench as outside replacement and there’s no way in hell he can start as CB2 this season.

  6. Just like last season the current receiving group is bottom five of league. Fortunately, this was also the case last year but with MVP Allen, Cook breakout and elite o-line putting up points was no issue. I’m far more concerned about the bills defense at this point.

huge money for a WR4/5 with a penchant for drops

Are you mixing him up with Johnston? Johnston had an absurd amount of drops rookie season (over 15) then last year he had 3 drops alone against the ravens. Brutal.  As for our new guy Palmer is drops an issue with him? Legitimately asking because it appears his last 3 years he has 2-3 drops a season. If that’s accurate, I’ll take it.
