Her super power is being possessed by some demon babe with super strength who literally rips her victims apart. Pretty groovy but the side effect is that now when I look at those pictures of her instead of getting turned on I get scared and want to run and hide...

Nicely said. I've always had a problem with Catholic churches and how ornate and gaudy they are, almost as if they are trying to throw their affluence in peoples faces. And their vestments, holy crap. Gold trimmed and flashy, they look more like halloween costumes then the uniform of supposed men of God. Much of the money wasted on all that trivial decoration could have gone to the poor and whatnot, if they were truly about being rightous and pious. I'm sure they'd say it's all about marketing, using extravagence to sway the poor and simple minded, but that's partly why I consider myself a lapsed Catholic/agnostic today... -

So an alcoholic has no authority to tell others to stay away from alcohol? A drug abuser has no authority to tell others to stay away from drugs? Are you sure this guy was "embracing" his experiences, or do you think there is a possibility they were torturing his mind even while he was doing them? Human beings are weak and do a great many things they know to be wrong, even to the point of rationalizing them as good. Mental illness comes in all shapes and sizes. Maybe instead of condemning this poor guy we should be more sympathetic, or do you only save your sympathy for fellow liberals? -
Liberals Attacking Marriage Again

While I don't mean to interrupt the 10th Annual Mutual Admiration Society's Circle Jerk and Pancake Breakfast (although I believe someone did ask me to come and give a doomsday prediction and I hate to disappoint), let's please remember that reasonable people can disagree. Or is the suppression of dissent only limited to the fascist right and not the fascist left? Same-sex marriage doesn't affect anyone? Fundamentally changing the structure of the family unit doesn't have wide-ranging societal consequences? And how far are you willing to go? Have same-sex-marriage advocates said too much? I hope all those mental pats on the back you give yourselves and each other for being so tolerant and enlightened are worth it. And believe me, for my children's sake I hope you're right, that this 'social experiment' will prove a rousing success and society is the better off for it (although I did find it funny that some of the most vocal on this thread, all blown up in full condescending glory, are themselves childless, thereby removing much of the risk of failed social experimentation from their own personal equations, but I digress) because I most certainly want my kids to grow up in a happy and healthy society, but I must admit to having some doubts. Feel free to now patronize me and chide me for being ignorant and bigoted. I now return you to the 10th Annual Mutual Admiration Society's Circle Jerk and Pancake breakfast ... -
I need a new QB on my fantasy team and was thinking about picking Johnson up as a short-term fix, that's what happened to him. I'm the kiss of death to QB's right now, the ones I drafted got hurt or benched and the ones I've picked up off waivers have gotten hurt or benched. Anyone want me to pick up JP?

Irvin is important to ESPN in reaching the 'thug' demographic. Reynolds was too nice a guy and besides, he was only a baseball commentator after all...

If it's a distraction it's only because the dipschit sports media will flog it to death. They need content for their 24/7 news cycles and just like the news media they will take some story and blow it way out of proportion in an attempt to get ratings. F the media. Tiki Barber has always been a class individual since his days at UVA and deserves to go out the way he wants. Plus you gotta love the little dig at Michael Irvin...

Not by me. If you seriously thought the Bills were going to mount a comeback based upon going for that field goal then I want what you're smoking. Better to go for the TD or at least the 1st down and fail, then send out the field goal unit looking like you're trying to get a few measely points to lessen the severity of the beating like a dickless wonder... -
In the words of Peter Griffin: "but I'll tell you what's not cool--killing strippers. Strippers are people too; naked people who may be willing to pleasure you for a price you negotiate later behind the curtain of a VIP room. Besides, there's no reason to kill them, 'cause most of them are already dead inside...Good night, folks!"

Gotta agree with you here. The people saying you kick the figgie to make it a 2 score game are ignoring the fact that WE ONLY HAD ONE FUGGIN' FG AT THAT POINT! 2 scores or 200 scores, it meant schit. Jauron needed to reach down his pants and find some balls and go for the TD to make a statement, instead he found a tampon string down there... -

I thought it was hilarious that after Bledsoe ran in that first touchdown (that didn't look like one to me, but it was close) he jumped up and made a big deal about spiking the football as if to say "Take that Cowboy fans! I told you I didn't suck!". Two quarters later and he's benched... -

Start Nall because that is all KH will ever be at this point- a backup. At least with Nall you could see if there is some potential there to be a legit starter some day. That window has closed with regards to Holcomb... -

What gets me about this interview is that Vick actually thinks he could be better for the Colts than Manning. "I always think, if I played in Indianapolis, what type of effect would I have on that team?" Translation: For all the times that Manning has come up short in the playoffs, I'll bet I could have gotten the Colts to the Super Bowl at least once. Delusional tool. Had he been playing for Indy, the Colts probably wouldn't have even made the playoffs...

Reggie Brown has reached borderline stud status if not outright stud. Even when Stallworth comes back you gotta figure Brown sticks as the go-to guy. I own Brown in my league and he's the #2 WR in pts right now (though he hasn't had his bye week (9) yet). He's become an auto start. My problem is deciding between Reggie Wayne and Lee Evans for my last WR spot. For your flex I'd stick with your initial idea about playing a QB, especially as Driver's last 3 games before the bye were all 50yds or less. Seattle has a poor pass defense so it might be worth it to roll the dice with Brad Johnson.
