Soylent Green being one of them

Saw Screaming Trees, Soul Asylum, and Spin Doctors in 93(?) at some outdoor venue near Rochester. Screaming Trees were awesome, Soul Asylum blew everyone away, then the Spin Doctors came out and bored the crowd to tears. Think me and my buddy lasted 3 songs before we walked out. We went mainly for Soul Asylum so we weren't disappointed, but wow, the Spin Doctors were horrible.

Dug the finale. Not the way I would have gone but very powerful. Did seem to get a little dusty when the characters touched each other and remembered their past life. Beautifully done. I dug the stained glass at the church too, basically like one of those Coexist bumper stickers, with all the different 'main' religions represented. Was the wagon wheel segment of the stainded glass supposed to represent the island? Or is that Scientology?

Agree with this, as well as with ajzepp's assertion that the producers seem to enjoy giving the finger to fans of the show. This show had spent the first few seasons weaving such as awesome tapestry of drama and myth only to piss it away the last few seasons with lame soap opera bull. Oh well, wouldn't be the first show that tried to get too cute and 'lost' it's way.

Great win last night for the #1 team in the country. Seniors on senior night bringing their 'A' games. Rautins his usual solid self and Onuaku was an absolute beast in the paint. It's been a joy watching them play over their careers. Great way to end it by hoisting the Big East Regular Season Champions trophy.

Providence couldn't miss a 3 last night in the first half. Pretty obvious that was their philosophy entering the game. All the practices the past few days must have been 3 point clinics. Glad to see da Cuse get a little more aggressive on d in the 2nd and get them out of their rhythm behind the arc. Kudos to Providence though, they were scrappy and did a good job changing tactics and getting inside when the 3s stopped falling. Too much Rautins and Jackson for them to overcome. The Nova game is going to be rockin' this Saturday!
