Both Arian Foster and Ben Tate rushed for over 100 yds this past Sunday. There's no reason Spiller can't get a decent amount of touches even with Fred being successful. Thurman in his prime got spelled a couple of series each game. Sully's right. Either Spiller is a bust or the coaches need to figure out a way to get him going.

Robopocalypse: A Novel. Was pretty decent.

Ready Player One was a lot of fun, especially for the 80's nostalgia. Video game geeks will love it.

The past show was awful. We'd get better writing and plot development from some high schooler's trying to earn extra credit. Like you guys, I want to like this show, but it won't let me. And I'm easily entertained.

You're bringing up some great points. Another one I can't get over is the meteoric rise of 'Dad' through the ranks of Avatar guy's staff. Day one he gets found out for being a stowaway/escaped fugitive. Day two saves Avatar guys life from assassination (kinda) and gets promoted to 'cop'. Now he's basically Avatar guys right-hand man and personal confidant. I guess Avatar guy didn't connect with anyone else over the two plus years he'd already been there. I'll give it a few more shows then decide if it stays on the DVR list.

1. King likely holds the idea that 'if they play 10 times, New England probably wins 6-7 of them', so he feels even with the loss the Pats are the better team. It's his column, his opinions, so whatever ranking he has....whatever. 2. More importantly, I opened the sports section of my paper this morning, and for some reason it had the Bills ranked higher in the AFC East at 3-0 than the Patriots at 2-1. THAT'S the only ranking that concerns me.

Good post as usual Bill. Your 'Few Thoughts' posts are always must reads after every game, win or lose. I was a little miffed when Spiller called for a fair catch when it seemed he had ample time/room to get a return going as well, but thinking on it I'm wondering if the coaches didn't tell him to be extra careful and that led to the fair catch.
