On the flip side, had Graham been holding hearings on all the corruption, the Dems and their familiars in the media would be constantly harping on how this was a political hit job, mountains out of mole hills, etc etc. They'd blow so much smoke around the hearings that even if something of significance came up the public would already be numb to the whole thing. Best to lie low, let Barr and Durham line up their ducks, then pull a Godfather where all the enemies are taken out at one time. Of course if Barr and Durham come up with the usual 'things were done and they were bad, but we've decided not to prosecute' schtick, then we know once and for all that the rule of law is dead in the USA, and can plan accordingly.

Wouldn't be such a problem if journalists, either being too lazy to craft a real, researched story or simply wanting to push some work narrative, would stop using tweets of relative unknown snowflakes and their 'outrage' as a basis for a content column.

No imagine that this was a white chick saying too many "people of color" in one area makes white people nervous. The shitstorm that would ensue... And she said there aren't too many spaces available for "people of color". Really? I'm pretty sure they could go anywhere they want at a University.

On the other hand, people used to say a politician like Trump could never get elected. Not in a million years. I myself thought it was a joke when he first entered the race. And yet he won enough people over and won. And then something else happened. He did what he said he was going to do. Most politicians speak out of both sides of their mouth, saying anything and everything to get elected, then conveniently get amnesia about what they said after they get elected. Trump to his credit continues to do, or attempt to do, everything he ran on. So while I too am inclined to believe most of these political/criminal #######s will likely get away with it, I have a little hope that might change. Because things are a little different right now.

You gotta wonder why the Dems let this idiot go on TV. Every time she speaks they must lose a handful of voters.

Proof that the Republicans need to play to win, because the Democrats have no qualms about digging up all the dirt they can find to try and derail Trump and Republicans. Corruption needs to be rooted out and the players need to be ARRESTED, no matter where they are found or what letter is beside their name. If no one faces justice from the FISA/Dossier/Spying and all the other crimes we know have been committed, if Comey and Brennan (to name a few) walk because too many people are afraid of what would happen if they were charged with their crimes, then this country is truly *****.

I find it interesting that both Sanders and Warren got as many votes as they did. I would have thought they were both going after the same Democrat-Socialist segment, making their numbers both lower. That they are both high tells me that it's the Democrat-Socialist segment of the party that is energized and showing up, and the more moderate segment is probably staying home.

Both can be true

Great points. Many get their degrees because they are able to memorize and regurgitate facts. And ego-stroke professors. Unfortunately for them, that doesn't automatically convey intelligence. Conversely, I've met many people that only graduated high school who showed great ability to gather information/assess a situation, formulate well thought out positions, leading to beneficial actions for themselves, their families, and/or co-workers. Higher education has been subpar in this country for many years, and we are started to see the results.
