Pre-draft QB Rumors
Gavin in Va Beach replied to offsides#76FredSmerlas's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Beane pass out at 31 Flavors last night. Right before he passed out he said to anyone listening “If I die, tell them to give Cleveland every single draft pick we have from now until 2020 for the #1 pick and take Josh Allen!” -
Beane cost us the 3rd overall pick. JMO

Tyrod Taylor turning heads in Cleveland.

While I'm glad we moved on from him, Tyrod was a class act here and I wish him all the success in the world in Cleve-town. -
Pats; 5 prime time games in 7 weeks???

My memory isn't what it used to be, but I recall that during the SB years they kept having us go up against the Steelers on MNF. And no matter how good the Bills were, the Steelers had our number on Monday night. It's was freakin' maddening. -

Keep our picks, draft Kyle Lauletta?
Gavin in Va Beach replied to Gavin in Va Beach's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The problem though, is that while it may be a QB heavy draft, all of the top prospects have question marks and none seem to be 'can't miss/must draft'. That's my fear, that we are so desperate to make a splash and draft a QB high that we give up too much. I see the prospects as a bunch of 4 star prospects, and don't think the Bills should pay a 5 star price for one of them, when we have so many other needs at this time. That was a really outstanding report you linked to, thanks for that! He seems pretty high on Lamar Jackson, I could be happy staying where we are and drafting him. -

Little known fact about the previous poster

^^^^ Was a huge star in Swedish porn back in the '70s until an unfortunate incident with an industrial vacuum cleaner, a llama, and a kilo of cocaine forced him into early retirement. -

What the ref really said to him: "Remember Tom, tell Mr. Kraft the usual payment consisting of non-sequential 10s and 20s better be waiting for me in my hotel room." -

What's the over-under on favorable calls for the Patriots? -
Because to get past the media filter, which would do everything it could to assist the Democrats in glossing over the fact that they support continued mass migration from those countries, he had to call them shithole countries to bring attention to the matter. If you don't understand that then I don't know what to tell you. It's interesting watching the media have a psychotic breakdown trying to figure out what to filter and what to get outrageous about. When the 'shithole countries' story first came out they were spinning up the machine to try and drive public outrage against Trump, but you can already see them starting to downplay it a little because that public outrage never really materialized. My local rag is as leftwing as it comes, and if they thought they could get traction on this story it would have had huge front page headlines. Instead there was a small headline directing people to read about it on page 5. We certainly live in interesting times.

We have dug ourselves into an amazingly huge hole of debt and crumbling infrastructure, all the while ignoring the wholesale corruption, primarily because we have phony as *$@! politicians using behavior and language to distract people from long term consequences so they can feel better in the short term. I think straight shooting and colorful language is exactly what we need at this point in time. Diplomatic niceties can go pound sand.

If Shady is Out, is it a Good Thing?
Gavin in Va Beach replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, but I think I understand what you're saying. Dennison has not shown us much with his game planning other than a heavy dose of Shady. If he can't lean on him, then he may have to game plan outside his comfort zone and hopefully come up with something unusual that will help us beat the jags. I think that is too much faith in Dennison though. -

The Official Blake Bortles Rumor Thread
Gavin in Va Beach replied to Fadingpain's topic in Off the Wall Archives
My cousin was his waitress one night at his favorite restaurant, TGI Fridays. After waiting on him and 20 of his friends, he stiffed her on the tip. Said he didn't believe in tipping and when she said she doesn't make much and counts on the tips, he told her if she wasn't happy with the money she should quit. That tipping automatically was for the birds and he felt she was just doing her job. When she started to tear up he then rubbed two fingers together and said it was the worlds smallest violin playing just for the waitresses. Told her to learn how to 'effin type.
