  1. This is assuming Henry would play for the Bills this coming season rather than sit out. I tend to believe if it came to it, he would sit out.
  2. Hearst was a 49er during the 2003 season, was let go after. Barlow became the undisputed #1 last season, couldn't get it done. That clear enough or should I type slower?
  3. What they did as individuals after they were released doesn't matter when the team from which they were released keeps winning...
  4. 1)Arizona- obvious 2)Miami- desperate for a RB 3)Oakland- keep throwing RB's against the wall...none seem to stick 4)San Fran- Hearst was let go and Barlow couldn't cut it as #1 5)Tampa Bay- think they really want to rely on Pittman for another year?
  5. Say what you will about Belichek, but he seems to know when to let a player go. If he says it was in the Pat's best interests to let Brown go, it probably was.
  6. No, he should lose it from being tackled by hash marks and goal lines in the first couple of games he played this past season. If Henry were able to keep his balance in clutch situations, we'd have made the playoffs even with stonehead at QB.
  7. And he could sue Sir Isaac Newton's estate because if he never discovered gravity then his poor son wouldn't have fallen down and gone boom...
  8. Your mom is hot...
  9. Obviously the father should be suing the makers of 'The Matrix', because that's probably where they got this stupid building jumping idea.
  10. Undoubtedly. He'd say it's possible to succeed in many different ways, as long as you're willing to do anything to get there. Aristotle would work under the salary cap while Machiavelli would try to cheat it any way he could.
  11. Sounds like they were acting out a Sopranos episode. Wonder if her name was Janice?
  12. Jesus Losman? What's the 'P' stand for?
  13. They should be good for another win or two. So that'd put us around 4-12 or 5-11...
  14. You see 'Eurotrip'? "I saw a gay porno once. I didn't realize it until about halfway through. The girls never came...THE GIRLS NEVER CAME!"
  15. Says the man who thinks it perfectly fine if ABC wanted to show hardcore porn every night at 8:00...
  16. "Where is everybody?" "They're off masturbating."
  17. I love my dog, but spend money to have my picture taken with him? Weird. Next time someone shows you a picture of themselves with their pet say "Ahh yes, I can see the family resemblance."
  18. Instead of an executive and a legislature, I'd scrap both and go with a ruling council. Set term limits at 10 years, and make it illegal for any members of the council to profit from their office. They could get a stipend for the rest of their lives and be exempt from taxes, something like that...but you need to remove the incentive for those who only wish to serve to get rich.
  19. I could see that happening. Agent X- "My client would like to sign with you, but if he signed in Florida (with no state income tax) he would receive more money if the contracts were identical." The real question- will the declining population of WNY even be able to support an NFL team in the future?
  20. Welcome to the kinder, gentler TSW...
  21. One of these days a city is actually going to get wise and instead of rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic they are going to cut everything down the bone tax-wise, scale down bloated and inefficient city departments as far and possible, and actually remove enough red-tape so companies have incentive to open and do business. That city would soon enter a 'Golden Age'. Probably won't see it while I'm alive though...
  22. This may be the last time Henry gets a chance to sign a major deal. I have no problem with him trying to get a decent long-term contract. If Arizona is planning on him coming in and being their # 1 RB, they should compensate him as such instead of trying to get him on the cheap.
  23. While I think Direct Democracy has some issues and could really bog government down, I know Indirect Democracy has some issues and IS bogging down the government with idiot politicians who want to constantly create monuments to themselves, so I'll give DD a try. I would totally eliminate the House of Representatives though. Seems to me we could get by just fine with the Senate and save a ton of dough and lessen a lot of headaches in the process.
