  1. I agree the celibacy thing is bull sh--, hell I think there may be a kernal of truth to the Jesus/Mary Magdalene thing. But I have a hard time with people stomping their feet and saying "the church needs to change or I'm leaving'. Talk about whining. You've got your 41 flavors of religion these days, don't like the one you're with leave and find another. Become a Wiccan or a pagan and run naked through the forests for all I care. I would have 0 respect for a religion that basically said "you know what, with mass marketing and television and the internet changing the culture these days (usually for the worse), perhaps we should throw out some of the teachings we've been practicing for the last couple thousand years so the kids will think we're hip again"...
  2. For many I guess the teachings of Jesus were "If it feels good do it"...
  3. I don't think we'll ever see in our lifetime a liberal African-American or woman president because quite simply the country wouldn't trust them not to do something loopy. I think there is a good chance we could see a conservative African-American or woman president because they would generally be perceived as being against quota's and other loopy leftist legislation not to mention being perceived as being stronger on defense and the country would probably would trust them a tad bit more.
  4. Two heads, only enough blood for one...
  5. Jeez, I hoped they at least pointed a gun at you to make it seem more legitimate when you payed up...
  6. 9 times out of 10, they are. They did with me.
  7. Lots of people listed 2, 3 times And if that fuggin pansey Marv Levy had eaten meat then maybe we would have one a Super Bowl or two. Eating only brussel sprouts took away his killer instinct!
  8. Sounds like a McNally reclamation project. If the price is right it could be a good deal.
  9. I'd go for Dewayne White. Young DE from Louisville, 2nd rd pick last year. Made 6 sacks. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=6400
  10. First score of the game? BAL- Stokley 38 pass from Dilfer (Stover kick), 8:10 1st http://www.superbowl.com/history/boxscores/game/sbxxxv
  11. After 70 you should be tested yearly to get your driver's license renewed...
  12. I hear it's all the hormones in milk and the food we eat...
  13. Doesn't have quite the same appeal...
  14. Sounds a little sketchy. If it were me, I'd sell everything in a yard sale and what didn't sell would make a nice bonfire party...
  15. Is TK's show streamed on the Net? I loved his old show.
  16. True dat. Seriously I hope we get Nuge, but I'm not holding my breath.
  17. Would love to draft him, but TD sounds like he's giving Lindell another year...
  18. "Herpes Simplex 7 is ravishing the city of Atlanta. The suspect is Ron Mexico."
  19. Had to wait until the boss went to lunch to watch it...HOLY CRAP that was funny. Ricky Williams coming in and smoking a doob, turning the channel to Sanford and Son...
  20. Off-field distractions can affect on-field performance. ESPN had no problem reporting how that TLC chick burned down Andre Rison's house. Should they not have mentioned anything regarding the OJ Simpson trial because he doesn't play anymore? The 'E' in ESPN used to stand for entertainment (before they said it doesn't anymore). They can pretty much report/talk about anything pertaining to sports, and often do, especially on a show like 'Pardon the Interruption'.
  21. Bah! The 'slippery slope' does not exist! Everyone who wants something but doesn't want to think about the consequences knows that!
