  1. Cine getting a call up to the roster this week. That's his first right?
  2. Day 3 (RayDay), low budget FA's (Tyler Johnson) and UDFA's at RB all damn day every day. Do not pay an RB please!
  3. Check out their 10 yard splits tho
  4. The only thing most of the highly paid prime time color guys truly know is that a majority of the prime time viewing audience doesn't know much about football, it's casual fans so they can just say whatever they want and it doesn't actually matter. So you get catchphrases and some pet topic(s) they steer everything towards no matter how relevant. Extremely annoying, but it's like death & taxes at this point.
  5. I know just the thing that would solve it. Pre-pec injury DaQuan Jones 😭
  6. All I ask is no major injuries, no weather flukes, and let the chips fall where they may. Think we are at worst a coin flip matchup against anyone in the league no matter where's it's played under those two circumstances. If Josh plays as he typically does in the playoffs, there just may be no stopping us this year.
  7. Not a whole lot different than Brady most likely. We are 16-4 including playoffs since he took over. That also includes the game @Philly with horrendous reffing and multiple botched TDs plus the KC playoff game where we had a decimated LB/DB crew, the offense had the stuff.
  8. Are you trying to tell me our own Mitch Trubisky's NVP award means NOTHING??
  9. Rapp at single high safety vs. Jameson Williams 😱
  10. Is he even part of the plan at all anymore?
  11. CB & S: low cost FAs & day 3 picks with scheme fit. LB: drafted Olufoshio this year, he will be the depth. RB: day 3 pick or UDFA with pass pro, speed, and receiving ability to be 3rd on depth chart for a year and backfill Cook leaving as a FA the following year while RayDay takes over #1 duties TE: traits-y upside receiving TE on day 3 OL: give me another day 3 upside pick like Grable anywhere on the OLine all day DL & WR: hammer these with the first & both seconds. 1Tech, DE, separator WR (blazing speed a nice bonus obviously).
  12. The starters are all very good but the high quality depth is also huge like you point out. OLine is only as strong as the weakest link, don't want to be one injury away from getting easily exploited in Jan/Feb
  13. We played a big part in exposing them too! Handed them their 2nd loss. Huge game in Allen's coming out party season.
  14. Such a great decision to let him walk!
  15. yes need him healthy for the entire stretch run for sure!
  16. I will admit to having been way wrong on him. Absolutely love the guy.
  17. Makes me so sad thinking about him not playing against the Chiefs in the playoffs last year. It was the difference between a win & loss. Just like Kelce went off in the SB after Greenlaw had the most fluke achilles injury in history. How do the Chiefs get so lucky year after year???
  18. Agreed. The "misses" lately have been high picks in the secondary (Elam, and Bishop so far but obviously TBD). The hits have been Benford (6th), Taron (4th), Douglas (3rd for 5th pick swap so 4th round value), and solid starters/role players Rapp (low cost FA) Hamlin (6th round), Cam Lewis (UDFA), Jamarcus Ingram (UDFA). The Mike Edwards flop doesn't hurt the way Elam/Bishop does since it was another low cost FA you can easily move on from. Stick to the formula and use the premium draft capital for shots at O/DLine and weapons for Josh.
  19. Agreed which is why we should leave the secondary to day 3 picks, UDFAs, and cheap vets. It's his specialty, use the premium resources elsewhere. Bit of an arbitrage, let's maximize it!
  20. Yeah Jordan Davis, Keeanu Benton, and T'Vondre Sweat are all guys in recent years I was hoping we could somehow get but didn't fall nearly far enough for us. Also really liked Alim McNeill but he's more of a 3T. Anyone in those molds for this year's draft?
  21. A strong 1T seems to be very important to a McD defense and they always seem to be out at the wrong time or just over the hill. When the 1T plays well it unlocks so much else (3T, DEs, LBs). Hope we can find a good long term solution. I loved DaQuan in '22 but he was injured for the Bengals game then he was playing out of his mind in '23 up to London and just hasn't been the same since that injury. Now he appears to have lost it which is unfortunate. Ed and the rest of the pass rush seem to be suffering for it. Anyone know if there are any promising 1Ts in the upcoming draft I should keep an eye on?
  22. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torell_Troup Check out the "Professional Career" section 😬🤣🤮😭
  23. Totally respect that view, and the staff/front office clearly agrees with you!
  24. Haha yes I meant Daequan Hardy not Deonte Harty
