Watched some last night and WOW he looks bad.

Even as a long time Edmunds detractor (who came around on him a bit last year), I'm shocked by just how bad he looks out there. And it isnt just being part of a really bad team, which he is. But Edmunds himself looks slow and soft when playing and in pursuit.

There was one play in the 4th quarter where Howell threw a pass over him and Edmunds jumped liked he was going to try to bat it, but then didnt lift his arms up to even try and just fell on the ground. He looked more like a little kid pretending to be a WWE wrestler than a professional getting paid $18M/year.

I'm going to try to not come back to this thread because this subject is done as far as I'm concerned personally. The Bills made the right choice in letting him walk. Tremaine got paid but will likely never develop into what his potential could have been. Moving on.

I was always in the camp of he's good for what he's asked to do which is zone coverage and if he's covered up by great DTs then he can be serviceable at run support, but I live in Chicago and he's been HIGHLY exposed this year. Bears fans love their MLB's, and I got several texts last night from casual Bears fans along the lines of "what's up with Edmunds did we get a lemon and you didn't tell us??"

I was a major Bernard skeptic going into the season but the guy just has it. He's a MIKE Milano. Edmunds is a robot out there, and to me it looks like he's at the point where he almost doesn't even care now that he got paid. Gotta give Beane & McDermott huge credit on this one.

"Despite the subpar Week 1 performance, the Bills became just the sixth team to score at least 135 points and allow fewer than 60 points through the first four games of a season. The previous five teams to do it all went on to play in the Super Bowl."

This article is filled with good information, but this is the only takeaway I care about.

I remember a thread from the off-season about QBs winning a SB within their first 5 years, but maybe the Bills are just late bloomers!

Sorry if already posted, but I'm just now seeing it, and it definitely got me excited 😅

In the true & just alternate universe 13 seconds never happened and we won it in 2021 so it counts

IDK, our last three games vs. them have been a loss, then in the two wins, one with Skylar Thompson at QB, they lost 34-31 and 32-29.

In that last one, in the heavy snow, in Buffalo, Tua posted an excellent game and their rushing game put up nearly 200 yards on over 7 ypc.  That was without Achane.

IMO this game will come down to how well we defend their running game.

Also, I thought that we had a pretty emotional win last week too, matching our second highest scoring game of last season.

Game 1 we had Jaquan Johnson, Damar Hamlin, Dane Jackson, and Tremaine Edmunds covering Hill & Waddle plus the backup o-line for an already bad O-line in 130 degree heat. Games 2 & 3 we had a shell of Tre White plus no Von Miller.

Replace Jaquan/Hamlin with Poyer/Hyde, Dane with good Tre, Tremaine with a promising matchup LB Bernard, Leonard Floyd in for the Von Miller void, add O'Cyrus/McGovern to the OLine, Kincaid to keep the chains moving, and a UCL for Josh plus 75 & sunny and I'm feeling pretty good

  4. I'd be interested to see the offense's efficiency out of shotgun vs. under center. Seemed like towards the end of 2021 and into the playoffs with the 9 TDs zero INTs he went under center a lot more and the run game benefitted plus he was lethal on play action. Now we seem to be in shotgun 80%+ and it appears easier to defend. Could be wrong I don't have the data but seems that way on eye test

Superstream m3... Google is your friend...

Intriguing, thanks for the tip! I'm looking into this now how does it work, you access a local feed from wherever the game is being broadcast as opposed to going through youtube sunday ticket?

Anyone have idea how they skirt broadcasting laws and is there risk it gets shut down?

  6. Love the Kincaid & Torrence picks and Williams looks nice but he's behind Milano when we needed a MLB and Bernard/Spector can fit a Milano backup role already.

Would rather have had Darnell Washington at 93 and a real MIKE with blitzing ability like a Sirvocea Dennis at 150. Shorter could have been had in the Nick Broeker/Alex Austin spot (or as a UDFA) IMO. This is mostly moot if Williams can play MLB. I just loved the Darnell Washington potential to pair that beastly frame up with Knox & Kincaid and if you're not going to take a top tier LB I like sticking with day 3 for that position, it's becoming like RB for me.

  7. Wouldn't keeping Isaiah Hodgins have been the better option if this was a skill set they felt the roster was lacking? Possession receiver that just catches the first down yardage with no YAC but is in his athletic prime with a much larger catch radius & huge hands. Bummed we couldn't find room for him over a guy like Baylon Spector or Jaquan Johnson.
