  1. The only thing most of the highly paid prime time color guys truly know is that a majority of the prime time viewing audience doesn't know much about football, it's casual fans so they can just say whatever they want and it doesn't actually matter. So you get catchphrases and some pet topic(s) they steer everything towards no matter how relevant. Extremely annoying, but it's like death & taxes at this point.
  2. I know just the thing that would solve it. Pre-pec injury DaQuan Jones 😭
  3. All I ask is no major injuries, no weather flukes, and let the chips fall where they may. Think we are at worst a coin flip matchup against anyone in the league no matter where's it's played under those two circumstances. If Josh plays as he typically does in the playoffs, there just may be no stopping us this year.
  4. Not a whole lot different than Brady most likely. We are 16-4 including playoffs since he took over. That also includes the game @Philly with horrendous reffing and multiple botched TDs plus the KC playoff game where we had a decimated LB/DB crew, the offense had the stuff.
  5. Are you trying to tell me our own Mitch Trubisky's NVP award means NOTHING??
  6. Is he even part of the plan at all anymore?
  7. CB & S: low cost FAs & day 3 picks with scheme fit. LB: drafted Olufoshio this year, he will be the depth. RB: day 3 pick or UDFA with pass pro, speed, and receiving ability to be 3rd on depth chart for a year and backfill Cook leaving as a FA the following year while RayDay takes over #1 duties TE: traits-y upside receiving TE on day 3 OL: give me another day 3 upside pick like Grable anywhere on the OLine all day DL & WR: hammer these with the first & both seconds. 1Tech, DE, separator WR (blazing speed a nice bonus obviously).
  8. The starters are all very good but the high quality depth is also huge like you point out. OLine is only as strong as the weakest link, don't want to be one injury away from getting easily exploited in Jan/Feb
  9. We played a big part in exposing them too! Handed them their 2nd loss. Huge game in Allen's coming out party season.
  10. Such a great decision to let him walk!
  11. yes need him healthy for the entire stretch run for sure!
  12. I will admit to having been way wrong on him. Absolutely love the guy.
  13. Makes me so sad thinking about him not playing against the Chiefs in the playoffs last year. It was the difference between a win & loss. Just like Kelce went off in the SB after Greenlaw had the most fluke achilles injury in history. How do the Chiefs get so lucky year after year???
  14. Agreed. The "misses" lately have been high picks in the secondary (Elam, and Bishop so far but obviously TBD). The hits have been Benford (6th), Taron (4th), Douglas (3rd for 5th pick swap so 4th round value), and solid starters/role players Rapp (low cost FA) Hamlin (6th round), Cam Lewis (UDFA), Jamarcus Ingram (UDFA). The Mike Edwards flop doesn't hurt the way Elam/Bishop does since it was another low cost FA you can easily move on from. Stick to the formula and use the premium draft capital for shots at O/DLine and weapons for Josh.
