  1. Didn't hear anyone talking about this but the NFL needs to make it a priority to have a comprehensive check on every players' heart.
  2. The way it looked to me was that the Bengals were going to crush the Bills. Plus they were playing dirty AFC North football. The guy who rolled Allen's ankle, the way Taron Johnson was ground into the turf, the guy who tried to jump over White and kicked him; these were extra physical plays that looked like they were intentionally trying to hurt the smaller, injury-ridden Bills. I don't think you can let a quality home team like the Bengals slice through you at the beginning of the game like you can the Bears or others. The Bengals will not come crashing down to earth with reality like the Bears did in the second half. Burrows was picking apart the Bills D and he made it look easy.
  3. One thing I see that Josh needs to do...get rid of the "Choose Love" on the back of his helmet. It's a fatal flaw that makes him soft, makes him have mercy. He needs to be a hardass to win it all like Brady, who'd run up the score against the Bills once to 58 I remember. .
  4. I think all the mistakes and flubs from yesterday could be somewhat attributed to the wind and cold but I think it's more likely that the Bills were toying with the Bears.
  5. Seems like the worse the team, the more time Josh thinks he has and the longer he takes to make decisions. Wrong. Each game is different and has different combinations of variables. The elements might take over like in this game, making passing close to impossible... Josh's elbow...The other teams' pass rush might be great even though the record is bad... Our O-line might be depleted either before or during the game... The running game might be working great...It all depends on the situation. Just go back to the LA Rams game and start slinging it fast again and mix in the runs as we now have a running game, even without Josh. He's used to doing it all. He doesn't have to anymore. The Bills have a balanced attack.
  6. I looked on a Bears message board and they thought so.
  7. Here's an article that says that Chicago might feel like 30 below this Christmas. https://blockclubchicago.org/2022/12/19/a-blizzard-could-hit-chicago-this-week-and-it-could-feel-like-30-degrees-below-zero-on-christmas/
  8. I lived in Chicago for a few years. I've never been to a place that cold and windy. Buffalo might have its snowstorms but in Chicago, your nostrils freeze together. I was working for a place just off Michigan Ave and happened to be looking out the window, when I saw a poor guy in a wheelchair trying to cross the street without any help. The wind blew him off his wheelchair and he rolled around in the street for a few minutes. People tried to help him but he refused help. Someone fetched his wheelchair, which had blown crazily farther away and he eventually got back in it, by himself, and made it across the street. Chicago winters are absolutely brutal but it keeps the riff-raff off the streets. I think you'll see crime plummet a bit in the winter over there.
  9. Rest Mitch for the playoffs. No need to play him the rest of the regular season, esp. if we beat the Bears. I've had six concussions myself, it's not fun...each one is easier to get and there's no telling how you emotionally deal with each successive one. With my sixth, I cried. Being center on an offensive line can't be good for concussions. I'd say try to play in the playoffs, then retire, hopefully with a Super Bowl ring.
  10. If or when the Bills clinch the AFC East title, I'd like to see the Bills rest Allen for the playoffs. The elbow needs rest and the Bills need full-strength Josh heading into the playoffs.
  11. Beasley sold me when he played on that broken leg. The guy is tough, smart, runs good routes and has good hands. A good consistent safety blanket for Josh, who needs one. Of course, I wouldn't expect too many YAC with this guy but we know what to expect. Automatic first down. Hope he has some big plays left in the tank. Plus John Brown too!
  12. Pile up the snow on their side of the field and blow cold air on them.
  13. I remember that Dolphins game in Miami with a lot of bitterness. They gave us the sunny area of the field, Buffalo had to bring their own air conditioning and wilted in the heat. Turnabout is fair play. How about no heat in the Dolphins locker room? Any other ideas?
  14. GANG TACKLING!
  15. Gang tackling, like old-time Bills football. Maybe try some no-huddle offense? Need to speed things up and get some momentum here.
  16. Shakir is a stud. Use him!
  17. Over and over again. Sabres, Bills, it doesn't matter.
  18. OBJ won't even work out for the Bills, Giants and Cowboys. Is he able to play at a high level and can Josh form an instant chemistry with him? I say no. He's a good receiver but too much risk.
  19. Pass on Beckham. Too old, too expensive, too many injuries and not familiar with Bills' system.
  20. The guy is a sore loser. The Bills were sore losers for twenty years. Now it's their turn. Kind of like that 0 for the 70s with the Dolphins. Punching down isn't exactly right. First, long-suffering and with back-up bile Bills fans have the right to say anything they want. Second, every time we play the Pats, there's still respect there. Third, the Bills' wobbly play in the middle of the season creates doubt about our dominance.
  21. My heart skipped half a beat on that Gabe Davis TD. He caught it and fell to the ground. The football appeared to be on the ground (again) when he fell on it. When players catch the ball while falling or on their way to a fall, they have to roll on their back so they don't put the ball on the ground.
  22. Considering what we've been through with Covid, wouldn't the first thing you think of when talking about this "mystery illness" is that it's Covid?
  23. With all the injuries the Bills have had this year, I think it would be a minor miracle if we get into the playoffs at all. With all these key injuries, I just want to get into the playoffs period. I don't care about what seed or if we have any home field advantage. Just make it in. Hopefully most if not all the injured, including Miller, will return for the playoffs.
