Hopefully they can find an indoor facility in Chitown and get some practice in tomorrow. Related: maybe so few practices over the last 6 weeks or so is a reason for their poor tackling? The latter doesn’t seem to make sense, but I’m just throwing it out there. 😃

I was wondering about this myself. How many days did they even get to practice for this game? 2? I’d guess 3 at the most.

Correct. He went to the locker room, then came back out and threw another TD pass. But who knows anymore if he's hurt or not? Fact is, if he plays, he's a dangerous run threat for sure.

You're right, it's not. A snap to a holder in cold, snowy weather, in a high pressure situation, is decidedly more dangerous/prone to mishap than a routine exchange between a center and a QB. 😉

Not unless he gets hurt in the last quarter of their game today. He looks pretty good today.

Can you name a time when all a team had to do was take a routine snap, and kneel it down in order to win a game, but then fumbled away that snap, and went on to lose the game? 🤔 That pretty much never happens! 😉🤪

Yep. Fields to the Bears is like Allen to the Bills, specifically citing his running ability. He is very fast & elusive.

You must have missed this, which was posted in this thread earlier: The most obvious answer is that they wouldn't be forced to kick the FG on 4th down. Get the 1st down, run a play (same play they ran on 3rd down), then stop the clock with the TO at about 10 seconds and kick the FG. That way, if there was a bad snap, a bad handle by Martin, or a slip/bad approach by Bass, they'd have a second chance at the FG. The latter would leave about 4-5 seconds (if the first FG try is good) on the clock. Then squib the kickoff and it's over.

Those sideline/halftime interviews of coaches in ALL professional or college sports have been worthless for decades. 99% of the time, everybody knows exactly what the coach is going to say, because the questions are so vanilla. Example: "Coach you're down 28-0 here at the half, and you have had three turnovers, what do you need to do to get back into the game?" We need to execute better and secure the ball. Our offense needs to step up their game. LOL

Total, bush league, and a pathetic act to throw snowballs at anytime during the game. Hopefully, anybody who was caught throwing one by stadium staff should have been tossed out immediately. Ironically, after they stopped the game and berated fans for acting like teenagers, it looked like fans were then just throwing them at each other, in the stands. The latter was really more dangerous, as most fans are not wearing helmets in the stands, and taking one to the eye or the side of the head could be very bad.

Not sure if this has been said already, but this is a case of statistics being deceiving. If the Broncos had been scoring more (than 18 points), then it's likely, at least in some cases, that their opponents would have scored more too, and they (Broncos) still wouldn't have won 10 games. Surely we all know that when it gets close to the end of the game, teams are more than willing to run out the clock rather than put up more points. Although I do agree that Hackett is not a good HC.

I LOVE stuff like this! Absolutely awesome! I think a lot of athletes have no idea how much impact they have on young people's lives. Would like to see more of this.

He's an average coach. Let's be honest here, as somebody already mentioned, without JA17, his W/L record would be way worse. If he doesn't at least lead the Bills to a SB this year or next, then in my book, he needs to go. Obviously, they should have gone to the SB last year, and they didn't, and that was directly because of terrible coaching at the end of the KC game. This year, because of the injuries, I might be able to give him a pass, dependent upon what he does for the rest of the year. As others have noted, his game day coaching is mind boggling at times. And I hate when people compare McDermott to other coaches, by saying "he's better than many other coaches in the league." That's crap talk; we deserve the best.
