As the OP said, and as we all know, JA is very difficult to tackle/get down to the ground (when trying to gain yards), so when he receives a two hand push and immediately goes down, most people not wearing Red & Blue Colored glasses can deduce that he is indeed doing a flop. That’s the reality of the situation. But I do agree that as long as the league allows this acting to go on, JA should take advantage of it, and he should continue flopping for an Oscar….or even an ESPY. LOL

Here it is for the FOURTH time in this thread, for those of you that may have missed it the first three times it was posted! 🙄🤪 LOL I am vaguely familiar with who this Smith person is, but have never, ever watched him on TV because I'm normally working, or if off, out doing something. 😉 Plus, as a general rule, I rarely watch gas bag "talking heads" who don't improve my life or educate me in any, way, shape, or form; life is just too short.

Rapp had a decent game, and that PF called on him was totally bogus. I loved the agression he showed there...."Kill the QB" whenever & wherever you can. On that play, Dak was FIVE YARDS past the 1st down marker and could have easily run out of bounds, but he didn't. He turned left, toward the middle of the field, looking to gain even more yards, but then he saw Rapp flying toward him, AND AT THE LAST MOMENT he slid down. It was impossible for Rapp to put on the brakes. And the 2nd roughing the passer call (can't remember if it was called on Dodson or Benford or someone else) on Dak was even worse, as he was nowhere near in a slide. Like I have half jokingly said in this forum before, put a pink skirt on QBs, and make them able to be downed by two hand touch. PS - the RTP call that Josh got was also a gift from the refs, and it is apparent he has been taking some acting lessons with Hailee. LOL
-
Yes, sadly, he's done.
-
Again, TOTAL BS. He was not in a slide. I like the aggression.
-
Yikes. Josh went down hard on that right shoulder. I broke a collarbone like that.
-
Yeah, no kidding. I thought for sure he would get it because it looked like he was looking back for the ball in plenty of time.
-
Dak was 5 yards past the first down marker and could have easily went out of bounds, but he didn’t. He turned back inside as if to get more yards, then saw Rapp closing in and did a last second slide. Had he not slid, the tackle would have been on Daks legs. Rapp may be a madman, but he was absolutely doing the right thing on that play. "Kill the QB" will ALWAYS be a defensive player's goal. Go look at the replay.
-
Totally disagree as HE WAS ALREADY PAST the 1st down line, and he could have easily went out of bounds....but he didn't, he cut back to the left, away from the sideline. He slid at the last second.
-
That is such BS....he slid down at the last possible moment.
-
Yep. He was even making stuff up, acting like he was hit in the facemask, when he wasn't. LOL
-
That roughing the passer call was a joke, but I'll take it! Josh obviously being Hailee's student. LOL

Tremaine Edmunds just had pick 6 for the Bears. LOL

Ex-Jaguars employee pleads guilty to charges over team theft
Bob Jones replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
According to various sources, his position was "Manager, financial planning and analysis", so Im guessing there was definitely somebody higher than him in the organization, like a CFO or Controller. That person should definitely get canned for not being aware of what was going on. Talking with my wife, who has been in the business for 40 years, and is currently at a very high level as a Controller, she's amazed that no one inside the organization was aware. -

My wife is an audit accountant, and the fact that this guy was able to get away with so much money before they caught him is just mind-boggling. Must have had ZERO internal accounting auditors, which again, is unreal when dealing with millions of dollars. -
I agree that the Bills didn't "learn anything" from the MA matter, and apply it to the VM matter....but apparently, they definitely have changed their organization's moral standards. With MA, the Bills very quickly ditched him at the behest of the pitch fork/me too crowd with WAY LESS actual evidence of a despicable act (some young girl's accusation) than what has already come forth in the VM matter (visible bruises on girlfriend, hair pulled out, 911 call, cell phone recording of the incident....all detailed in the police report). Yes, I know that he was a rookie punter, and wasn’t even on the team yet, and yes, I've read the posts that say it would be financial suicide for the Bills to cut VM because of his contract/cap hit, player concerns, etc., but... The bottom line is that the organization supposedly stands on having strong moral principles. With the latter in mind, they should have already fired VM, or at a minimum, suspended him and told him to stay away from OBD until it all shakes out. Money is the deciding factor here, and that is disappointing and hypocritical. I'm just amazed at how fast the VM matter has fallen out of the spotlight. And I would have certainly thought that the millions of female Bills fans would be calling for VM's head (like they were for MA) since there is obvious evidence of domestic abuse, and there was NO evidence of rape in the MA case. Go figure.

Toney saved us from another Billsy moment…

One flaw in your theory is that Wycheck passed on Saturday, and the Bills got lucky THE NEXT DAY. 😉 -
Bills don’t play on the “road” again this season…
Bob Jones replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
LMAO. No, not quite. IF they beat Dallas AND win the next two that they're "supposed to win", THEN they'll be favorites for the AFC East title. And of course that's only if Miami falters and the Bills are only one game back for that last game. -
I agree, although they’d probably do something Billsy after that, like lose to the Chargers or Pats. Would not surprise me AT ALL. 😉

Al Michaels out for NFL playoffs on NBC in move he wasn't expecting
Bob Jones replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have said for years, and still maintain, that other than maybe friends & family, absolutely no one tunes in to ANY sports contest because who is announcing the contest. People watch a sports event because: it’s their team (or for golf/tennis, they follow a certain player), it’s a great matchup between 2 good teams (or two good singular athletes), it's the playoffs and great games are expected, or they're betting on the event or player. The amount of money paid to these announcers is just absolutely mind boggling. There's no need for it. Fans will watch their team, or their favorite player, or a great matchup no matter who is calling it. Conversely, if it's bad teams, or a crap matchup, no one is tuning in because Nance & Romo are calling it. -
It’s Dallas week and the Division is on the line!
Bob Jones replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills receivers did have a bunch of drops though, no? And if not for Toney committing an absolutely moronic foul, we'd probably all be talking about when McD was going to get fired, this week or at the end of the season. And yes, my eyes saw that the Bills were a little "rusty" from lack of practicing. Thankfully, KC had some key players out with injuries, which greatly helped out the Bills. 😉 -

Posts like this are laughable and insane. Just like last night, THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES of any NFL team beating another NFL team, no matter what their records are, nor what the spread is, nor what the statistics show. On any given Sunday... I realize that pretty much everybody has on their rose colored glasses today, but the Bills could just as "easily" go 1-3 to finish the year, while y'all are predicting other teams to collapse down the stretch. All we can do is take it one week at a time, and hope JA doesn't revert back to turnover Josh, hope McD doesn't exhibit his normal late game idiocy, hope the refs don't screw the Bills over, and hope that the players actually give a f***, and play/execute well. Go Bills!
