Officiating ruining another game. That horse collar call and the procedure non-call before the half, two prime examples. -

Jimmy Johnson is a joke. -
Taken as a whole Belichick's, overall record is impressive, but when you look at the one variable, (TB12) that has impacted his record, it's a little less impressive. With TB12: 249-75 (.769) Without TB12, incl. Cleve.: 83-104 (.449) Impossible to say how he would have fared in NE if they had not drafted TB12 in the 7th round, but one thing is for sure, he would not have had the success he has had. Great coach or great QB?

These commentators don't know jack and I think all of this Steve K dockers pants % figures for the odds of this and that happening is just useless.

Brandon Beane should be Executive of the Year.

One meaningful play? It was arguably the most important play of the year for what it did to the momentum of the game and energy spike it created with the Bills. -

With all of the injuries the Bills have endured and the roster depth that has kept us in the hunt, it would be well-deserved indeed! -
Amazing how these three pickups that were added to provide roster depth all played huge roles in the biggest regular season game of the year. Beane wanted them for what they had the potential to do for the tean, but to have it play out as it did last night was just amazing. And to think how all three of these guys were flamed by this board throughout the year, at times referred to as bums and "what are they doing on the field" comments.

It's well known that Dallas is a different team on the road, but it's amazing to me that we can gouge them for 266 on the ground with the O Line looking better than they have all year, and then go 105 and 127 respectively against the Charges and Pats. I didn't watch the Pats game but listened to about half of it and it seems that there was constant pressure in the backfield and many plays were getting blown up early. Is the Pats line really that much better than Dallas? It's concerning that we can't keep a consistent run game offense going and we are definitely going to need that if we expect to make through the playoffs.

Has Von been out there at all?

I am glad to see someone post this. As a Ute fan I really like this kid. May not be the fastest WR in the draft, but his size, hands and ability to get open are all major strengths. There are always hidden gem WRs who drop to later rounds. Look at Puka Nacua, drafted in the 5th round. It seems a lot of these guys from out West don't get the attention/respect that those from other conferences like the SEC do. Look at Steve Smith, another Ute went in the 3rd round.

James Cook's Kamara-esque game...(edit:new discussion on page 4)
Dubie54 replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly, it seems every time we run one of these screens the defense has us outnumbered from the get go, yet when teams run this play against us it seems we rarely outnumber the opposing offense. -
Why the hell doesn't the NFL have an internal grading system and only the highest graded refs work the SB? The crew should not be announced until the end of the season when the grading system is completed. Therefore in order to work the SB, it is based on performance. For as much revenue that that the NFL generates, it is a very poorly run operation that starts with the overall quality of officiating.

He’s had a solid year. Some rookie growing pains along the way but definite signs that he can be a fixture in the line for years, barring injury. The Bills run production has clearly benefitted from his ability to move people although his pass protection has been more inconsistent, but not unlike other OL rookies adjusting to the complexities of D line stunts.

Von Miller faces arrest in domestic violence case in Dallas
Dubie54 replied to ArdmoreRyno's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would think that his contract has a clause in it which allows the Bills to walk away and limit their cap exposure significantly. If not, that’s on the Bills FO. You don’t sign a guy with a checkered history to a deal that big without protection. -
Chiefs disguise those pics well.
-
The coaches you mentioned: Jauron, Gailey, Marone, Ryan, and Williams all sucked. Bad hires that never should have been given the job. McD has been a decent coach but every coach hits his ceiling with a team and reaches a point when it's time to move on. The jury is still out on McD, but he is showing clear signs that he is not the guy to get us a championship.

Fair enough.

So the sub-culture will be focused on doing things "right" as opposed to the old culture which was focused on doing things wrong.
-
Well done analysis backed up with data.
-
Totally agree he is ultimately accountable to the team and ownership, but I would argue he also bears some degree of accountability to the fans, as aren't we the one's filling the stadiums each week?
-
True - we don’t know what accountability he takes with the team, but we do see the lack of accountability he takes with the fans.

I was a real fan of McD and what the Bills had built in the years leading up to the 13 sec. game, then it all changed. I actually felt the response by the Bills to that game was the start of the downhill slide. There was no accountability for those last two plays on defense and I think the reason for that it is that McD was responsible for calling those defensive alignments. Beane was usual self in his measured comments and refused to go there. So we get to hypothesize and many of us pointed the finger at Frazier which took some of the heat off McD. Then Frazier get's slow walked out of the building the dark of night after another year which adds to the drama and speculation of how that play calling sequence actually went down. So here we are 21 months later and Dorsey gets canned after a loss in which our special teams played miserably and in effect lost the game with the 12 on the field debacle. What gets lost in the firing of Dorsey is the two all out blitzes that lead to TJ to be out on an island against a much taller receiver - and this is the same TJ who basically commits pass interference 50% of the times he's targeted. Peyton and Wilson had to be licking their chops, just like Andy Reid was on the defensive scheme we called in KC. But Dorsey takes the fall, which is well-deserved IMO, but I think is nothing more than a smoke screen for the bone head defense at the end of the game. And then you have James Cook, who fumbles on his first carry and then goes right to the dog house. But Davis can drop passes, Allen can throw INTs, players can miss tackles like the one Bernard missed that led to a late Denver 1st down, and yet Cook goes right to the bench. McD can call misguided defensive alignments and someone else gets fired. McD has ridden the generational talent of Allen as far as he can. When it comes to coaching in tight spots, when the pressure is at it's max, he folds, becomes predictable and then when his decisions fail, is he stepping up to the mike to take accountability? There's a cancer in clubhouse and I think it starts with McD and the culture he has created. I get the feeling players are incredibly tight, afraid of making mistakes, and are just not comfortable. Sure it's all hypothesis, but at least it's based on what is seen on and off the field. If you were a player, would you want to be playing in the McD environment?
