  1. TD here is a must! They have to go into halftime with something positive at their backs.
  2. “Stepped on Diggs”
  3. Why are they even playing games over there? Who gives a hoot about fans in England? As if the NFL needs more of a worldwide fan base.
  4. The NFL channel coverage is a joke.
  5. The Electric Company blocked for OJ in the mid 70’s: Dave Foley - LT Reggie McKenzie - LG Mike Montler - C Joe D. - RG Donnie Green - RT Paul Seymour - TE
  6. I don't how he put up with Frazier's game planning for as long as he did.
  7. Next man up Elam - could be make it or break it for his future with the team. Would be nice to see the kid step and contribute.
  8. How about a little play action....
  9. I don’t understand why Josh isn’t talking with Dorsey while he’s on the sidelines. Never saw him with headphones the whole game. If these two are going to get on the same page then i5 would seem there needs to be communication going on during the game.
  10. Spreading it around is one thing - the quality of the play calling is another. Simply spreading it around doesn’t mean a thing unless you use plays to maximize your opportunities. I think they missed numerous opportunities by not utilizing the TEs more.
  11. Dorsey didn't take full advantage of his personnel last year and he's at it again. He doesn't appear to experienced and/or knowledgeable enough to make adjustments during the game as he demonstrated all last year, or prepare for what to expect. He should know the Jets defensive schemes from last year's games. No question they are a good defense but his play calling seemed to play into their hands. For example, when Murray was in he looked good, yet we kept at it with Cook. Cook made some nice plays getting around the edge, but he's not physical enough to for the Jets defensive line. Why not run more with Murray or send him out into the flat? Murray had one reception for 8 yds and Harris had two for 16 yds. We made some use of the TEs last night, but I have a hard time believing that with 2 guys always on Diggs deep that we couldn't find at least one of the TEs open underneath, consistently. Where was Sherfield? No receptions and I don't recall any targets. The wide screens there were trying to run with Harty were not working. He was targeted 4 times for 3 recp. and 9 yards. On the other hand, Kincaid was targeted 4 times, 4 recp. and 26 yards. Was Dorsey afraid of using the rookie too much? That's why we drafted him. This team has plenty of offensive firepower, but in the hands of Dorsey I just think it will continue to be underutilized.
  12. I think it’s all psychological with him. The stage was too big for Josh last night and when that happens he panics, the game is too fast for him. Did you notice how Josh just sat there on the sidelines with the crazy eyes deer in head lights look? Not talking to the coaches, looking at a tablet, etc. He just seemed like he was out on an island and the pressure just continued to build as the game went on. Tom Brady would always be looking at the tablet to review plays, talk with other players, talk to the coaches up in the booth, and was engaged in the game. No matter what the situation Brady always seemed to have that look of “just give me the ball and we’ll get this done.” Last night, Josh didn’t look like he wanted to be there. The eyes said it all. I don’t know what’s happened to the kid but he’s regressed significantly and he appears to be totally out of sync with the game around him.
  13. You might want to look at this based on the starters and see what that shows.
  14. I think it's 70% positional value/need and 30% BPA, which means we are picking the guy that we best feel fills a needed gap but if by some token of good fortune somebody drops to us that we can't ignore, we take 'em, with the understanding that we will need to fill that gap we missed on in a later round. My sense is that you enter a draft with a number of holes that need to be taken care of, dare say have to be filled, and you approach it from that standpoint. If we come out of the draft with a bunch of guys that were BPA at every point when we picked we might just come out of the draft not a whole lot better off because we still have glaring weaknesses that weren't addressed. I would argue the top 3 positions of need are: OL, LB, WR. Sure there are other positions of need and we will deal with those but I would argue those are the top 3. Now the key is in what order do you deal with that and that my friends is why BB is paid the big bucks and why is butt is on the line this year with how we come out of this draft.
  15. I agree the defense has been good more often than not, but when it has mattered most, this defense has failed to step up and/or make situational adjustments. The 3rd down softness, lack of aggressiveness at the line of attack with receivers and tight ends, not using blitzes more effectively. No question this is a good defense and McD knows how to build a good defense, but can he truly build an elite defense that can adjust and adapt effectively over the course of a full season and into the playoffs. We almost got beat at home by a rookie QB in a playoff game that should have been a blowout, and sure Josh was off in that game, but our D gave up lots of chunk yards and was far from elite in that game. Sure it's the playoffs and anything can happen, but that game for me was the writing on the wall that this team was not ready to go the distance last year.
  16. Yes, dysfunctional. Look how they handled the 13 seconds last year. Who took accountability? Then we have Beane whining in the year end presser about the Bengals and how bad they were to be able to get Chase, when he has repeatedly whiffed on picks. I think there has been a lack of accountability and willingness to call it like it is with this front office.
  17. Definitely a strange way to part ways with your DC but it fits with how dysfunctional this management team is within the Bills. I guess they wanted to put a little time between the end of the season and this move so as not to embarrass Frazier so hopefully they have already had someone lined up to be the DC for some time.
  18. Man, nice run.
  19. Eagles D line starting to come alive
  20. Looked like he spun him just enough to throw him off balance.
  21. Let's see what adjustments the Eagles will make to put more pressure on Mahomes
  22. Serena selling booze - how far the great have fallen.
  23. The lack of urgency on the part of Beane and McD going all the way back to the Chiefs game last year and through this year's playoff to get rid of Frazier and bring someone in who can elevate this defense is inexcusable. They have a huge blind spot when it comes to Frazier and I just don't get it. Is it because McD wants a symbolic DC he can tell what to do? Available DCs might be attracted to an opportunity in Buffalo but don't want to be a DC in name only.
  24. Discouraging? What’s discouraging is the 13 seconds. What’s discouraging is the defensive schemes he has cooked up when it really matters.
