Anyone on the Bills you think could be traded?
Brian Higgins hair replied to KentuckyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cook is not on the table IMO. Rare talent running between the tackles with speed. A game changer next year. Way too thin at secondary talent to trade Benford. Take a 7th for Elam though… . -

Xavier Worthy: So far, not much more than a gadget guy
Brian Higgins hair replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Keon Coleman.. Absolutely zero separation. Yes, Worthy should have been the guy. Guaranteed separation.. Today, another “swing and a miss” choice Beane. -

Ed, Because as we see, size does matter a DT and he doesn’t get it done consistently. Epenesa, pretty worthless. O line is pretty stout right down to the bench players, so there is a possibility of sacrificing one. Matt, as hard as it would be to let go of a great player, he may command more than he is worth. We need young, early round D line talent, and we don’t have the capitol to get there. -

We didn't use many jersey variations this past year

I don’t see a huge demand for the red helmets. Their current colors are the best ever. and yes, they could throw in the throwbacks from time to time. -
I find them excellent.

Diggs hurt (Torn ACL - out for the season)
Brian Higgins hair replied to fasteddie's topic in The Stadium Wall
You hate to see any player go down with an injury, no matter who it is. But at Diggs age, injuries like this are more likely to happen. I don’t see him ever returning to his old form again. He is older and injured now. ACL take at least a year and a half. The man did make his first share of money. -

When that leg turns in and then it happens? ACL. -
the Daboll/Schoen regime - on the brink, it seems
Brian Higgins hair replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Schoen doesn’t have a clue.. letting Saquon out the door without a contract and thinking he was going to come back? And then Jones? Nice guy.,,not a negotiator. -
Do you approve of the job Brandon Beane is doing?
Brian Higgins hair replied to KentuckyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think we all know the meaning of insanity. If we truly want to get better, a change needs to happen. Then there is the great Josh Allen mystery of not getting it.. Somehow, he needs to understand the Pat Mahomes success blueprint. When playing tough defenses…Consistent first down plays are the key, and not always reaching for the chunk plays. -
Josh Allen Performance Yesterday..a Redux
Brian Higgins hair replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
Personally, I see it this way. Mahomes goal is scoring with patience by small goals of first downs first.. Josh’s goal is the big play Josh needs patience, but still can’t get the patience thing down consistently.. -
Remove the name in the new stadium.

What's the point of this team's philosophy?
Brian Higgins hair replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s about at downs, not bombs… that’s how KC wins, Brady wins, etc. -
Here’s hoping that Hell actually exists. He’ll have plenty of lawyer friends to cook with.

LOL. Randy Moss was super super super elite with Tom Brady. I’m down with double dipping this draft. The more WR talent, the better.

Diggs traded to Texans for picks

I’m guessing Rome O, and I don’t think it takes more than trading 1sts and the 25 2nd. -
Diggs cryptic comments - 2024 edition
Brian Higgins hair replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just maybe because the older, and often injured “better guys” are too expensive for what they offer? Maybe to get younger in the draft? Or is it because we already have younger players ready to step up? Beane would have NO problem eating 30 million if he replaces Diggs with a younger, day one kid who didn’t fall flat on his face in the playoffs… -
Diggs cryptic comments - 2024 edition

You never know how desperate Jerrah, or others are to win. Don’t think Beane won’t trade him, even with heavy dead money. I’m thinking it’s going to happen. We have too many draft choices than open roster spots this year.. We send Diggs, and get a 3rd rounder or early 4th. Package two more picks and move up for another ne, or if lucky, a late 1st, or deal the extra picks we can’t spend to move up further. Diggs being replaced with a 1st round WR on a rookie number helps negate some of this years dead. could happen..anything could happen with Beane right now. . -
Justin Fields traded to Steelers
Brian Higgins hair replied to aristocrat's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bears are becoming the Cleveland Browns of the NFC. ‘They weed the draft of busts, and cut players that will go on to be better, and make senselessly bad trades. -
Want to win in this game? Want Josh to set the NFL on fire? Then, we need a monster WR who wins contested catches in this draft. I would go Rome. We learned a lot from the Sammy Watkins episode, and also from the Julio Jones trade up.. It’s always a flip of a coin, but that’s why Beane makes the big bucks and at this point, we have to gamble. .
