  1. Ok, I just started watching with 9 minutes left but we've scored 17 points, Josh is playing well with no INTs and we're winning and getting the ball back to start the second. But I'm seeing posts saying this team is a disaster... I get that the team is not playing optimally everywhere but it's a little early for these hyperbolic takes.
  2. McKenzie runs out of bounds; is he taking ginko biloba now?
  3. Oh, man, Von's ankle will not be good.
  4. Except a higher draft pick and a shot at a "top" QB. But yes, kudos to him for not playing safe.
  5. Campbell needs to do Viagara commercials now... he's got cahones and is delivering the goods under pressure.
  6. Huge play by Milano. Guys, sometimes even elite players have bad stretches. But they get back to good or great...
  7. Questions for a lawyer (Shaw66?)... if it's not done in secret — that seems to be a criterion for collusion — but owners openly shared their views that fully guaranteed contracts were bad for the sport, would it then be legal?
  8. For me, instead of "in Gabe I trust" it's more like "In Gabe I kinda hope but don't count on it." He's a pendulum; one game he's lights out and setting records, the next he's disappeared and dropping balls.
  9. Shameful lack of tackling — no, shameful lack of effort to tackle — on that Kittle TD. Wouldn't mind seeing the 49ers make a playoff run.
  10. Great video. Really shows he's a reallly smart player who isn't afraid to get dirty too. He's going to replace one of our two great but aging safeties pretty soon — for economic reasons — but should do a capable job.
  11. Nick Chubb is one of the top two or three rushers in the league — and with far fewer attempts than Henry or Barkley and even Jacobs. Yesterday we held him to 19 yards on the day. 19 yards. We were all afraid of Chubb and the Bills D totally held him in check. So, missing two pro bowl defensive backs Frasier and the D decided to let Brissett pass the ball — and try to beat us that way. He could not. As good as Brissett was (I'd love to see him back up Allen), the Bills were in control of the game the entire second half. The D did its job yesterday. With Poyer back in the lineup I expect the secondary to do its job for the remainder of the season. We don't have the veterans to lock down both the opponents run and pass game every game but our D will be good enough to win if the offense limits turnovers.
  12. So, so happy to see good games from Knox and Cook. It it continues, we will return to being an offensive force...
  13. Brisset is getting about 75 cents on the dollar compared with Keenum. Just based on this game, he's looking like good value. Is he always like this, or is this an outlier?
  14. McDermott has the mad "I told you so" look. Probably with regards to the run game. I like it.
  15. Yes, 2020 Beasley would put this team over the top.
  16. Imagine when Cook actually gets used in the passing game? Sitting in the flats unguarded or maybe short middle and catches a pass and just has linebackers to deal with?
  17. Great to see Cook finding holes up the middle and justifying his pick status... If we can use Cook and Knox more going forward — and win — this game can be a turning point for the season.
  18. Bills had a really slow start but — as we know from the last couple weeks — it's how you finish that counts. And, yes, the games not over. But I like the way it's trending...
  19. For $4.65 million I'd take Brisset as a backup.
  20. Great drive: some running, using Knox in the short game, Pendulum (13) catches the ball, and kill shot with Diggs. Josh showed good judgment and didn't force it. More of this please.
  21. If we win and figure out how to feature Knox and the backs into a gameplan, I'll be happy.
  22. This is completely asinine. The original poster is questioning the validity of Sean McDermott as a head coach as McDermott has been a head coach for five complete years without a Super Bowl championship. Did you bother to look up that it took Andy Reid 20 years as a head coach to win a championship as a head coach? According to your "facts" and implications that if a coach hasn't won it all in a handful of years that he's not good enough, Reid should have never gotten the gig as KC's head coach. Right? That's a fact that he went far over a decade without a championship so KC was foolish to hire him, right? I don't know if McDermott is the right coach for the bills (I suspect he's pretty darn good) but your argument is far beyond flawed. There are 32 teams in the league; with parity, it will take each and every team to 32 years to win one championship... But you're suggesting if a coach hasn't won it all in a half decade he should be highly suspect as incapable of ever doing so. Please tell me you're not a math teacher or philosophy professor.
  23. Benford is a huge positive. Has he been perfect? No, but he held his own against veteran receivers and has helped an injury-ravaged team win games. Early on, I was almost thinking of getting his jersey as he is the epitome of the underdog: a 6th rounder pick starting over a first rounder. I hope he continues to improve and carve out a very good career as a long-term starter.
