Would love a decent guard and though it may inspire derision here, a back who's carrying 220-plus pounds with good vision and decent burst for short yardage situations (for a low-round pick). For years I"ve heard Moss is a good short-yardage back but he's only 205 pounds. He ain't no thunder to any lightning. Maybe some audible intestinal discomfort but not thunder.
Are we the only team in the league with our top three backs all 205 or less?
I"m not talking a track star but a guy who can move bodies. 220 pounds plus. I don't see that happening but I would like it. Add a guard who can move bodies and I'd love it.
Player safety matters but it's gone too far. Defenders need to hit a quarterback. I think in the broadcast he said at least make the roughing the passer penalty reviewable... Something needs to be done to correct it. Or we can all agree to professional flag football.
One reason NOT to go for 2: it puts the Chiefs offence in 4-down territory the entire drive; you give them an extra down they wouldn't take if it were a tie game as they'd be good with punting on 4th down.
I would never give the Chiefs 4 downs to get within FG range — and an FG takes the lead back... Dumb.
Long past hoping for a Raiders win. Just want the pass rush to get to Mahomes and rough him up some more. Would be nice to see Kelce take some big hits too.
Josh will trust his receivers and throw to Gabe or Shakir in tight window. Carr has possibly the best WR in the game and he's sinking and dunking with 5-year passes to open players. If I was Adams, I'd be having signer's remorse.
Yeah, as much as I hate the Chiefs, on replay the lineman looked like he was trying to not fall with his full body weight... If this happened to us, we'd be pi$$ed.
Wow, that's quite the pass rush the Raiders got tonight. Mahomes looked like he didn't know what hit him after. Hopefully Groot and Von can replicate something similar.
