  1. When was the last time we had a back like Murray?
  2. I like this Cook/Murray tandem.
  3. Williams looking good. I know it's the Giants but he's a rookie. Feeling better about our linebacking corps going forward.
  4. Love it!!!! What a D stop!!!
  5. Williams has been doing a nice job replacing Milano. No, he's not the same player but so far, is doing a good job.
  6. This reminds me (I hope) of the Bills-Pats games during the drought: the lesser team plays better to start, but the score is close and in the end the better team prevails. I'm hoping we see a much better Bills offense after half time.
  7. Whatever we picked up in London, it's contagious with all these G-Men going down.
  8. D looking good. I think Williams and Bernard so far are doing well. Hope it continues.
  9. AJ! The stretched-out Jimmy Kimmel strikes again!
  10. Floyd is so good. What a great-value pickup by Beane.
  11. Despite the drop and fall, Josh looks poised and is stepping up in pocket.
  12. Cam's absolute OWNERSHIP of this record (most rushing TDs by a QB) is fascinating to me. Cam has 74% more rushing TDs than the number two all-time QB, Steve Young. 74% more than the number-two guy on that list (soon to be rewritten by Josh, however, at least ownership of the two spot). Yet Cam will not make the Hall of Fame. And I'm not suggesting he should, either. Fascinating that a QB could absolutely crush the competition in a fairly substantial stat and still not have much of a legacy. Again, I'm NOT saying Cam should be HOF worthy or have a great legacy, but this is a mind-blowing stat, to me, at least. If Cam showed some heart in his SB appearance, I think he would be remembered in a fairly better light. But he will be remembered as soft when it matters, and not a great passer.
  13. From NFL.com's Week 6 Bold Predictions: Josh Allen posts eight touchdowns against the Giants, breaking the NFL record for most scores in a single game. The current league record stands at seven TDs, with four quarterbacks hitting that number since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger: Drew Brees (Week 8, 2015), Nick Foles (Week 9, 2013), Peyton Manning (Week 1, 2013) and Mark Rypien (Week 11, 1991). https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-week-6-bold-predictions-josh-allen-bills-d-set-records-c-j-stroud-finally-th
  14. Man, thinking about this... Miller, Groot, Oliver, Floyd. That's one hell of third-down line... Even if Groot doesn't always bring pressure, I bet he'd swat a few balls. I'd love to see this.
  15. Very interesting. I've seen this idea of putting Rousseau inside before — is there evidence, from college or in the NFL, that he can win inside? Or is it all hypothetical at this point?
  16. Was gonna say what the hell do we need another defensive end for — we need a 1 tech, dammit! — but then I saw the minimum salary part. Yes.
  17. 27 - 13, Bills. If we win and no injuries, that's all I care about. Don't give a f*** about the numbers other than that. Though, it would be nice to see us run the ball and the backups stepping up to look decent.
  18. Coach Daboll. At least in 2022. This year may not be so kind.
  19. Fair enough. I still think Dak is a top-12 QB or so.
  20. I can understand if someone argues that Dak isn't "elite"; but calling hime a "tier 4 quarterback" is pretty rough and hard to defend. Tier 4. Think about that. Elite Very good decent to reasonably good mediocre to barely serviceable
  21. @EinsteinThanks for the info. Any chance you can help me out and share what PFF says, if anything, on the Buffalo blitzes on third down? I have a bet with someone who says they blitzed "every third done" and I need some conclusive evidence. If all PFF has is the overall number of Buffalo blitzes that may help too (if it's lower than the number of third downs that Jags had). many thanks. 🍻
  22. Don't get the logic of a pass because of McD. It gets a pass because it was missing 5 high-end starters and Miller played a pitch count after being out for a year.
  23. After 8 hours of feeling like crap I feel pretty good about Josh, again, today. Another solid day of mostly smart quarterbacking.
