We are set at WR. Maybe we’ll grab one in Round 6.

Sorry, I'm not reading this properly and a bit confused... (it doesn't take much) -

Stef might be gone in 2025, and if he isn't there's no way he's still a number one for two more seasons. We need cheap but highly skilled labour at the position and as much as I like the Samuel signing he won't be the number 1 in two years. -
It would be nice to see a Digg's tweet about the Samuel signing... Hell, I'll settle for Stephon's brother making a tweet about the Samuel's signing.

Arik Armstead released, signs with Jax

Given our WR and DE situation and our cap I'm not sure paying top bucks for a rotational DT behind Oliver and Jones makes sense. -
If you're ever... 1. Drunk 2. Nervous 3. Old You may have experienced ED.

What if Allen and Mahomes swapped exact situations?
Nephilim17 replied to first_and_ten's topic in The Stadium Wall
Both generational quarterbacks. I'd say Josh is the better athlete but Patrick has superior processing skills and judgment. Many here probably don't agree and might even hate that. That said, I like Josh better as MY quarterback and when we win a Super Bowl it will be sweeter for me and every Bills fan than any KC championship ever was for their players or fans. -
Jones will still be 33 years old at the end of the 2025 regular season. I don't think his age is a big deal for a two-year deal.

Good signing. Not sure about the numbers, but glad he's back. For those concerned about his injuries, his big injury in 2023 was a pec injury, right? I don't see that as a recurring injury or a worry.

Giants sign Devon Singletary to 3 year, $16.5M deal

Wow, I thought in 2024 NFL good but far from great RBs didn't get those bucks. -
He dropped the pen before signing his last name. It fell down a vent so celebrations need to wait.

Do The Bills Have Enough "Elite" Talent?
Nephilim17 replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
Aside from Josh Allen, I see elite potential from the following: Kincaid Cook Torrence Oliver Milano (may already be elite) Johnson as nickel CB? A fair number of solid to good players beyond that. If we get a blue-chip WR and one other player, maybe DE or safety, I'd feel a lot better about the number of difference makers on this team. -
Wowzers! On the first day of July each year since 2011, Bobby Bonilla, a former New York Mets star who retired in 2001, receives a check worth $1,193,248.20 from the Mets. This arrangement will continue until 2035 when Bonilla turns 72. The ongoing payments stem from a deferred contract buyout agreement made between Bonilla and the team in 2000, ensuring he receives a significant sum for a period of 25 years. In a unique arrangement, the New York Mets decided to buy out Bobby Bonilla's remaining contract of $5.9 million. That's nuts. Nowhere near the total Russ got, but more insane perhaps due to the length of the buyout.

Was his Denver deal one of the biggest swindles in pro sports history? I don't know basketball or baseball enough but would suspect few NFL deals have touched this in terms of overpaying, both salary and draft capital.

Does everyone who requests a trade just use this as posturing? Not being sarcastic here, just wondering.

Diggs - will he resurface as the Bills go to WR in 2024?
Nephilim17 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
My guess is he still contributes a fair amount but starts to decline and gets 800 to 900 yards. Good but far from great. -
Dummy diva players and their hubris: would rather be a number 1 on a crap team than play with a potential HOF QB and a winning organization.
-
Now the most feared words for every Bills player not named Josh Allen: "Mr. Beane would like to see you."
-
Good for him. Good player, classy spokesman, and good human being. I hope he stays healthy and can enjoy his wealth with his family for a long time.
-
1. "To keep him in Buffalo" sounds like the alternative was getting cut. 2. Knox is no dummy; he saw that Kincaid set a Bills' record for TE receptions as a rookie. Kincaid is the new #1 TE and Knox knows if he rides out another year with 300 yards and gets cut, he's looking at a pretty low deal — and maybe from a team without a franchise QB. 3. With future HOFer Miller taking a pay cut and several cherished veterans getting cut from the team, it's easier for other guys to take a pay hit as he's not the only one. It's a psychology thing: you don't want to be the only one but if it's happening across the board, it's ok. I will puke in my mouth if he's keeping all his money but we're just pushing it down the road but I hope and suspect that's not the case.

Chris Jones signs with KC 5yr $95M guaranteed

Glad it's the highest ever. If they're going to have great players I want them to pay through the teeth. -
Who's your breakout players for next season?

Our first WR pick in the draft.
