  1. Damn. Dude needs to worry less about his feet and more about his hands.
  2. Missed the first play... seven yard pass or run please?
  3. Almost every ex-player in any sport is stiff for a while when announcing. I don't think Brady's doing that bad and I'm sure he'll get better over time. His supreme insight beats any natural charm that he's lacking at the moment.
  4. Yikes. Kincaid better be a monster and Samuel and Coleman and must produce too. Not feeling good about this. Hope I'm wrong.
  5. Old, expensive and currently has a hamstring injury. It gets better with every update.
  6. People are talking a lot of compensation for a guy turning 32 before Xmas. WIll he make the Bills better? Sure. Is he worth a second plus more? I'm not so sure. If he were 28 or 29, yes. But he's not.
  7. I wouldn't mind a WR upgrade but he turns 32 this December. That's reason for pause for me unless it's only a one-year deal and for a lower draft pick. I don't want to burn a third or second on an aging WR.
  8. Raiders have $27 million in cap space. They could always convert salary to a bonus and take the cap hit themselves. Now what kind of compensation would make them do that is another question.
  9. I'm trying to understand this better in terms of what exact physical traits and skills we lack this year compared with last. Diggs is an outside receiver and is the same size as Shakir; Diggs is slower but has longer arms. Is the arm length the difference here? And Diggs wasn't exactly a contested-catch specialist (43.5% in 2023) Davis is a touch smaller than Coleman but maybe a touch faster. Most would expect Coleman to have better and more consistent hands. What does Davis have.. that we don't have/need to see in Coleman? Davis' contested catch rate in 2023 was 35.7% — not great. He's got a couple memorable toe-drag catches but I can't believe that's the only difference, body control. If so, we've seen tape of outstanding body control from Coleman. MVS has size and speed. Yes, he's not reliable (in the regular season; I believe I've read he's never had a post-season drop, which is impressive). So, not being sarcastic at all, but trying to understand: what did Diggs and Davis have last year that we lack this year? Or... maybe the point is that Diggs and Davis were not a very good tandem of outside players, at least not for a team with championship aspirations. Even if so, please define the traits we need in outside players for this offense to take the next step. I appreciate your opinion. Thanks.
  10. Really? I'm looking at Spotrac and while is 2025 and 2026 yearly hits are over $16 million a year, I see his prorated signing bonus 2.389 million each year. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/21905/matt-milano Unless there are other guaranteed bonuses (boni?) I would have thought next year's cap hit is just under $5 million for Milano. Fantastic player and teammate BUT... next season he's 30 and for an oft-injured guy I'm not counting on him playing a full season. It sounds like heresy but if Williams continues this and if I'm reading it correctly (I may not be) I'd consider losing his $16 million total hit and taking the $5 million dead money.
  11. If we continue at this pace, Pegula should keep throwing money at Brady till he stays. Pay him head coach money. No cap for coordinators and Pegula won't miss a few extra million.
  12. No way. I can see 8 to 10 this year but I doubt he can do that for 4 seasons. But he's proved 99% of us wrong this season, so who knows.
  13. Looking good so far but I'd like to see us beat a couple teams with top QBs.
  14. Feeling a hell of lot better than I did a couple weeks ago. if Josh stays at this focused level and distributes that ball and the defensive backfield continues at this surprising level, I think we can hang with anyone — even with the backups who are starting now.
  15. You were right and I was wrong to say I doubt it. Based on what I know of Keon, I thought he was a head-down and disciplined young man and that's why I doubted that he messed up and needed to be disciplined. That said, being late (hopefully a practice and not the game) is not ideal but not the worst offense either.
  16. Near the end they cut to Josh shrugging twice on the sideline. What was the question posed to Josh then? Will this get Pederson fired? Or... ??? ??? ??? What's your guess?
  17. Elam getting a pick six would have been the perfect end to an almost perfect game.
  18. Two rooks get their first pro TDs ronight. Congrats to Keon and Ray.
  19. best Jags run of the night was 14 yards in garbage time. Well, done Spector and Williams.
  20. I would be shocked if it's discipline related. Likely McD just favoring vets like he often does.
  21. With Milano and Bernard back and Josh playing at this level it could be one of the most dangerous Bills teams ever.
  22. A lot of very smart people here and elsewhere were wrong about Von this year.
  23. Something was flushed for them this year.
  24. If you were the leading option to play Bojack Horseman in the upcoming live-action movie, you might not care either
