I am a fan. I watch the games, but do not pretend to know anything beyond an intermediate knowledge of playcalling, talent evaluation or any other deep topic that gets discussed around here. But your statement is true. This is the first time that I have been legitimately doubting the collective wisdom of the GM and coaching staff. The problems that we have right now seem too overwhelming and after 5 years of being on the brink of a SB, maybe it is time to think about bringing in fresh ideas. I doubt I am alone in this.

I went to University of Miami for undergrad, I've been in that stadium a bunch of times. I agree with everything the OP said. And I will add: The stands are set back from the field by some ridiculous amount, so even if you're sitting in "good" seats, you're still far away. I get that they play soccer games there too, but it's bad.

I was at that game, sitting in the sun the whole time just like the players and it was unbearable. I cannot imagine how hot it would be in a helmet and uniform. I suspect conditions will be way better this week than back in Sept 2022.

I was born in Buffalo but grew up in another state. I now live across the country, but I still love the Bills. It's a special thing, being a Bills fan. It is an instant connection with a stranger. Its a way for me to connect with my family. I recently flew back to Buffalo to attend the Chiefs game in person, and I was shocked at how visible the Bills were just driving around town. Every where I looked I saw Bills flags or people wearing gear. Not used to the plethora of Bills fans, I even made the silly mistake of saying "Go Bills" to a guy at a gas station who was wearing a hat. He just looked at me strange lol and said "uhh yeah", as if Obviously. Western NY is a very special place. I could not imagine the city of Buffalo without the Bills. WHEN they do win the superbowl (IT WILL HAPPEN), I think I would prefer to go back to Buffalo for the parade, rather than actually go watch the game.

I second your observation. I was at the game and could watch what players were subbing in etc. Buffalo obviously used the the no huddle when they had a mismatch in offense package vs Chiefs defense. For example on the long throw to Kincaid that went down to the 2 yard line, BUF had a heavier package in vs the Chiefs lighter package. Result was Ty walked into the end zone. I watched them use the hurry up effectively all game to prevent the Chiefs from subbing.

Gabe definitely had some inconsistencies and weeks without any impact, but yes, I do miss those games where he played big. Maybe he can get back to that level?

Summing up 43 pages... by almost every metric, Coleman has been a disappointment and is being out performed by many WR's drafted in later rounds.

I think the opportunity to "steal" a possession after halftime is worth it. I could easily see the inverse happening too, which would give the Bills opponent hope, which is a quick 3 and out by the Bills offense.

It appears to me that defenses have figured out that if you play man coverage on the Bills receivers, they can blitz an extra guy, getting pressure on Allen. The Bills WR's cannot win 1-1 matchups, they arent open and Allen is forced to run for his life, take a sack or throw a bad pass. This is an oversimplification, but in general, I think this happened a lot last night. I think I am finally on the WR train lol. Last night was pathetic on offense. (Defense good in second half)
