Heading into the season, I also thought the WR group could be sneaky decent when in actuality they are sneaky awful. To me, the biggest disappointment is Coleman. You would think that a high pick WR on a team devoid of quality receivers would stand out. He looks like the reincarnation of Chris Burkett.

I'm more concerned with Alec Anderson's 3-4 false starts.

Players make bad plays and take stupid penalties, but coaches need to put these guys in better positions with play calling and situational awareness. I’ve been an advocate for McDermott, but he has to go. This game is on him for being this close in the 4th quarter

Jets - 9 Bills - 3 I foresee an ugly, ugly game. With all the injuries, Josh will likely throw his first interception(s) of the season. We couldn't figure out their defense when we had actual WR's so this one could be unwatchable. Zuerlein will connect on three 70 yard field goals, since every kicker is able to knock in the long ones with ease against us. Bills will try to run Ray Davis up the gut from the 1 yard line on three consecutive plays because McClappy doesn't want JA to hurt his left hand on a tush push. Bass will narrowly make the subsequent 18 yard attempt but will miss from 20, 30, 40 and 50 later in the game. This has all the ingredients of the Browns/Bills 6-3 barnburner from the Trent Edwards days!!

Yeah, I really don't understand the Mike Edwards situation. Is he still hurt? Is he in McClappy's doghouse? I really don't think our defense is more complicated than what he's seen in KC and Tampa. It's not like he's past his prime and could at least offer a veteran presence out there.
