Bills would save $12M moving on from Jones and Epenesa
BillsDad51 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
And one of those sacks last season nailed Rodgers for a safety. -
Thanks for the work on the post Magox. While he had a bad game against the Chiefs, his body of work for the season was outstanding. I've been watching replays of Bills games and Rousseau was a disruptive force. I also wonder what kind of stats he would put up if he was able to rush from the left side instead of ceding that spot to Von on passing downs.

According to PFT, Green Bay proposed the ban. Edit: missed earlier post.

AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at Chiefs
BillsDad51 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Refs called that 3 or 4 times this year on Dawkins. And each time, the commentators said it's not holding. Maybe Bills should petition league officiating committee to hold a refresher course on that particular blocking technique so the refs can get it right. -

Deshaun Watson suffers 2nd achillies rupture
BillsDad51 replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
PFT reporting Watson reinjured the Achilles when he turned his ankle in Miami. Article speculates whether Browns will dig deeper into what Watson was doing to turn his ankle and whether that could void the contrac4. -
Wasn't dissing your post. I appreciate the work and I understood your method. Was just looking for the additional silver lining in the extra picks.

The Bears 4th, Giants and Browns 6ths will be toward the top of their respective rounds.

Any former Patriots GMs on the unemployment line? Tommy getting the old gang together for a run to glory?

Eagles poached Cine from Bills practice squad today.

Agree. Not making a joke of it. Wildfires a deadly fact of life in California. Never thought they would impact a large Metro area like this and force NFL to consider possibility of moving a game.

Per PFT: NFL is monitoring wildfire situation in Los Angeles ahead of Monday Rams-Vikings wildcard game. League watching proximity of blazes to stadium, as well as air quality, which may force league to move game. Can't postpone since it's Monday night.

Predict the elevations and inactives tomorrow
BillsDad51 replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
White no longer on practice squad. Replaced Morrow on 53-man roster as of yesterday. Signed an extension. So there will be two callups from p-squad. -
Maybe it's to elevate Mike White to regular roster to backup Trubisky, leaving room for two practice squad callups.

Here's the link: https://wapo.st/3Z9cGcN Some excerpts: In ways both obvious and unseen, Allen epitomizes what it means to be an NFL franchise quarterback. He throws military-grade passes and scrambles like a hurricane. He also organizes remote offseason workouts, calls players-only strategy sessions, picks up the tab at celebratory dinners, makes post-practice tee times and hosted the team’s Halloween party. At 28, Allen has mastered the delicate art of being both The Man and one of the guys. Knox said. “I don’t know anyone else that can do it like he does. I can’t imagine the type of pressure and stress he has to deal with. The way he does it is just mind-blowing. He hasn’t changed one bit in terms of just being a good dude. I don’t know how that’s possible with what he has to deal with. Each week during offseason practices, Allen took a new trio of teammates out for rounds of golf, his offseason obsession. He made intentional choices to bridge different ages and positions — one nine-hole round included Shakir, backup quarterback Shane Buechele and third-year linebacker Terrel Bernard. He has received extensive criticism for his interceptions and countless chances to explain them away, to snap just once and fault a wideout’s mistake. He has not done it. “We all know guys, even when they don’t directly point fingers, you read between the lines,” Beane said. “Josh never even gives you anything between the lines.

Fine handed out for Rapp's penalty against Miami
BillsDad51 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Poyer also fined $11,193 for hit on Coleman. And cornerback Cam Smith fined $8,874 for horse collar, although I don't recall if that was flagged at the time. -
Two more practice squad members: Davidson (TE), Dean (WR)

Never Followed PFF..After This, Never Will
BillsDad51 replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
Geno had an INT too. And didn't he have a messed up pitch/handoff that Walker ran down and turned into a 5-yard gain, his longest of the day? And Seahawks got 0 points off Allen's pick while Bills turned Geno's pick into 7. Baffling. -
Guy is a terrible tackler, too. Avoids contact.

Raiders are open to trading Davante Adams
BillsDad51 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
If it hasn't already been mentioned, in August Adams called the Bills' fanbase one of the worst. Something about throwing snowballs. He may decline a trade to Buffalo. -
Thanks for the complete list.
