If Myles Garrett is available.. How much are you willing to offer?
Savage replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
You need to take a swing at the fence sometimes, rather than being happy with singles and doubles. singles and doubles will only get you so far. just like the Bills for the last 6-7 years. -
Keon Coleman 5th In Rookie Receiving Yards
Savage replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is 4th in receiving yards an accomplishment? just asking for a friend. -
Let him walk. he’s an average player at this point, and very inconsistent. i hope the Bills don’t overpay again. Don’t let him walk away, let him run away, while holding a flame thrower to his A$$.
-
Well, your here to tell the tale. others haven’t been so lucky.
-
McDermott blows. he isn’t bringing this team any further than it’s gotten to this point. seems like a gentleman, good coach, etc…. BUT - he has reached his potential with this team, and this team has reached it’s potential with him.
-
Can’t disagree with your point, but Bishop has a long way to go.
-
Obviously, the project came in on budget.
-
That was Ray Lewis. credited with many more tackles than he ever made.

The difference between the Bills and Chiefs is Chris Jones.

I agree with points three and four. -
Perhaps, but when Bishop had opportunities, he didn’t take the best advantage of his opportunities.

I agree about Rousseau. need to be very diligent with his contract. two number ones for either Crosby or Garrett is too much, and I’m a huge fan of Garrett. -
Is Sauce as good as advertised? skinny kid who can’t / won’t tackle anyone. very grabby in coverage. not saying he’s crap, or wouldn’t want him on my team, but he’s not what people want him to be, or think he is.
-
I agree. I didn’t say he was a great player, just a good, sound tackler. Every player on the team has a couple of shortcomings.
-
I don’t care about his story. it’s put up, or shut up. he’s done ok. out of his element? perhaps. but he’s been fine. Works for me.
-
He knows his shortcomings.I give him credit for that. he rarely blows a tackle. I credit him for that. look at much bigger, faster players that whiff on tackles because they rely on speed and size, and don’t know how to tackle.
-
Agreed
-
Most say he’s slow, weak and small, but, fundamentally, he’s a damn good tackler. He actually wraps up the ball carrier at the knees. That is a lost skill / art in the game of football today. He won’t lay any big licks on anyone, but he’ll make his tackles. I give him props for that. Most NFL players have no idea how tackle, or have forgotten how to tackle.

How was Josh able to finish the game with a concussion?
Savage replied to JakeFrommStateFarm's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nobody is IN on anything. there’s no way he could have assessed properly in that shot a time. -
Yeah, I haven’t read that book yet, but it’s on my reading list.

Perhaps, but it’s not hard to see when someone is knocked out cold. -
Bishop belongs in the bench. he’s a long way off from being a starter.

The NFL doesn’t care. it’s all about the $$$$. -
I don’t know who Lazarus is, but the Buffalo Bills and the NFL let Josh Allen down. It’s quite obvious that the health of the player means nothing.
-
What does that mean? who are you responding to?

A rebuild doesn’t happen in one year. JA17 isn’t getting any younger, and will be more susceptible to injury as the years go on. and, I agree with all of the needs that are mentioned.
