Dolphins could release Calais Campbell to play for contender.

I’m assuming you don’t live in either Buffalo or Baltimore. -
Fire McD and Hire Belichek after we lose AGAIN in the playoffs
Savage replied to JPL7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tomlin is a scum, douche. that one time that he tried to trip up an opposing player, while stepping on the field. have zero respect for that punk. just another punk among punks. -
Anything is better than a kick in the seeds.

And…. Rebuttal….
-
He doesn’t have the tools needed to overcome the fact that he is undersized. quickness, handfighting, etc…

The guy makes his tackles. the same can’t be said for a bunch of others.
-
Didn’t he play first base for the Montreal Expos?

Pull your head out of your a$$.

I’m sure Hyde or Bishop will play just as well as Milano is. brutal

An absolute disaster by the coaches at the end of this game
Savage replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
after a while, just being good isn’t good enough. JA17 won’t always be the player he is now. sometimes you just need to say F it and take a chance. I’ve said it many times, in many threads, this edition of the Buffalo Bills will never win a SB with McD as HC. -
The D issues won’t be fixed. every game is basically the same. the D sucks for the first quarter or half, just about every single game. they make changes at half time, but against good teams, adjustments at half time is already too late. this D just isn’t good enough. why other teams don’t run the ball 50-60 times a game vs the Bills is a mystery to me. the Bills can’t stop the run.

The Montreal Canadiens players of the 70’s dynasty hated Scotty Bowman, but there arguably has never, ever been a better hockey team. players don’t need to like their coach. winning it all, cures all. -

Anyone can we worse, but BB walks in with immediate respect and credibility. -
I agree on the criteria for coach of the year, just like league MVP goes to the player who means the most to his team. if that isn’t Josh Allen, then no one should get it. if it weren’t for JA17, the Bills would be bottom feeders, mediocre at best.

Quarterbacks and "fake slide" controvery
Savage replied to I'm Spartacus's topic in The Stadium Wall
They should, just for the sake of safety. you see it every week. QB’s that fake to go out of bounds, but don’t, and get a few more yards. -
One of the problems is McD waits until half time to make adjustments. that doesn’t fly in the playoffs. there is no tomorrow. and that is he’s biggest flaw, unfortunately.

Will we be in Super Bowl contention this year?
Savage replied to bills6969's topic in The Stadium Wall
Concerns on the defensive side of the ball are still there. Winning the SuperBowl should always be the goal, regardless of QB. you hear so many coaches and GMs before the season starts, that their goal is to make the playoffs, and see where it goes after that. that is a loser’s mentality. -
What’s it gonna take to improve /prioritize our run defense?
Savage replied to Jistafan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would do the same, and go for it on every fourth and short. the Bills just can’t stop it. -
I’m sure he will, and I might pay him that much as well. the guy is a freak, but I just think he has a lot more to offer. I think he could be a border line hall of famer, if and when it all comes together.
-
Don’t know, but I just don’t have confidence in him. he always seems to look lost, deer in the headlights kind of thing. great coach, seemingly great man, but I just don’t see him winning a SB with this team. I hope I’m wrong.

OT: what did you think of the hit on Lawrence?
Savage replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
There are always questionable hits, this one stood out because of the viciousness of it. don’t get me wrong, it was disgusting, but just because of the obviousness. -

Savage replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s become a thing for QBs to pretend to slide, or run out of bounds, and not do so. it can’t be expected of defensive players to assume a QB will slide, pretend to slide, run out of bounds, or to pretend to run out of bounds. Something has to give, or QBs will continue to take big shots like that. not sure what the solution is. can see in 10-15 years where the QB can’t be touched, and can’t leave the pocket type of thing. -

There is a VERY fine line when it comes to hitting someone. You want to hurt them, not injure them. -
Hamlin isn’t flashy, or a thumper, but he is very steady. Poyer, overall, is no better at this stage of his career.
