  1. They're talking like they don't keep Lamar in these kind of games all the time. He always pad stats in these out of reach games. Sure yeah he needs reps tonight. Shut up.
  2. Shame on you. Kidding but for real wash your mouth out. I too am hoping he can break out but I do think he's just not a (sort or) #1 receiver. He's more a 3 or 4. But what do I know. I just want the kid to succeed.
  3. Yeah I forgot about that play. You're right. He was shaking his hand after. The guy takes a beating at times for sure. I'm hoping for a "hey we're back game". I'll take a win but I want a thumpin' we'll see.
  4. Unfortunately you'd most likely lose. Sorry for snapping back. That's my bad. My hope is for them to find their grove before the running attack is figured out or knock on wood, injuries happen. There's a lot of talk about Josh not being right. Idk maybe right? If so he's got to be accountable for his part in the issues with the passing game. Whats your thoughts? Go Bills!
  5. What makes you think I suggested that? There's reading something and having a different opinion and then there's responses like this that clearly show you either never understood the point or you just want to be snarky. I'll make this as clear as possible. You will need a reliable passing game if the running game isn't working.
  6. I'm with you. Problem now is that we won so some people are going back to the whole "we're winning what are you complaining about" mindset. Time will tell who is right so I can't fault anyone for having opinions but I too think that as our running game gets figured out and defended well against we will need to go to the passing game that just hasn't had the consistency and talent to demand a ton of respect from the opposing teams.
  7. Thanks. Yeah I didn't realize he was signed and directly to IR. I don't recall that happening. Someone made a redeem w to signing an injured player the other day and got roasted for it. This sounds similar to me I guess. Hey ya learn something new. I've not been following the whole gabe Davis thing as I haven't really believed we'd see him on the field. Wow. This has totally gone over my head and I thought I was pretty plugged in. Thanks I appreciate it.
  8. Ok that's where I was confused a bit. It wasn't making sense to me about the whole activation part. So did they have to sign him and then put him immediately on IR? Does a player go right to IR? I'm not "trying to get at anything" it was a sincere question. I haven't followed the whole Gabe Davi's thing as I never really thought he'd see the field. And you're right trying out was the wrong wordage. Visiting was correct.
  9. Moves like this make you wonder. So how was it that he was trying out for teams, one or two of them a couple times and then comes here but is so injured that he doesn't see the practice squad until week 9? Why bother going through the whole process in the offseason if he was still a few month away from even making a practice squad?
  10. We've got an MVP and a OPOTW!! Feelin good about Sunday!!
  11. I'd really look at one of the PS dudes if they aren't looking outside for a trade.
  12. Thats rich haha. KC fans complaining that there may be a game that's called fair or not in their favor.
  13. Are they cancerous? I'm asking because I do routine checks and I only have 1.
  14. I hate that about the team right now. We go from "championship caliber" to basically conceding defeat. "Ok guys just go out and have fun. Play ball, but don't expect anything great out of it". How motivating.
  15. Panthers!!?? Tell me it isn't true! Shocked!
  16. Leaving no stone unturned for the defense.
  17. We like keeping it in house. Why go outside when we have a perfectly old option in Philips.
  18. I do. Maybe because I dread it.
  19. You're right about the passing attempts. I think that's part of the disconnect that Josh seems to be having with the WR or the offense in general. There doesn't seems to be attempts that get him in the grove. Believe me I live the run game as it is but if the defense starts clicking and the run game is elite, can you imagine during a Josh Allen led season, that he becomes the reason we can't get over the hump. It's like when our offense is humming, our defense fails and when the defense is humming our offense dips. It seems we can't have both sides of the ball consistent and complimentary.
  20. This does not paint the whole picture of the season. You have to also ask would you take low positive josh and a passing attack that hardly goes beyond the LOS, Milano missing most of the season. Bernard and Benford not playing to their contracts, Oliver done for the season while most of our DT are injured, Samuel and Palmer missing a ton of time while KC and Buffalo are currently going in different directions. Yes 5-2 is nice to look at but there's a full picture that needs to be looked at before we can say "I'd take that". - none of this is to argue as we all see things differently and I respect your opinion. I'm just saying that I'd need more.
  21. Better scouting and evaluation of talent. Plus kicking contracts down the road. Going all in to win.
  22. I agree we were right there. They say it's a game of inches and none of those games should be defined by the one play at the end that didn't work. (Well 13 seconds maybe lol) my point is there are plant of opportunities to take the game and we just haven't been good enough when it matters to do so. Could they have? Yes but they didn't. Simply put, I don't think we have enough high level talent. Josh and Cook. Who else is an elite talent that we can count on when we need it most? Drafting has been pretty bad. We acquire low to mid tier guys on rental contracts. Moore and Palmer have really done nothing all year. Samuel, nothing yet we could have put that money towards a Metcalf or an Adam's last year but nope let's pay a bunch of "hidden gems" that are buried in depth charts and hope they flourish in Buffalo while Brady keeps everyone at the line of scrimmage praying for YAC. Limit Josh (our MVP) hand to Cook and hope to run the clock out. We all know what the defense looks like. So yeah, I'm pessimistic right now. Statistically speaking there is so much that needs to happen to win it even if the team was perfect. Which is crazy that KC just seems to do it all the freakin time. But that's another convo. Go Bills.
