  1. Even sweet little lindsey (why don't u homophobes hate him?) isn't convinced after Senate hearing. “You cannot bomb knowledge out of existence — no matter how many scientists you kill,” Murphy added. “There are still people in Iran who know how to work centrifuges. And if they still have enriched uranium and they still have the ability to use centrifuges, then you’re not setting back the program by years. You’re setting back the program by months.” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), a close ally of Trump, said “obliteration” was a “good word” to describe the strikes, which he said set back the program by years. But he acknowledged that Iran’s capabilities could be restored. “The real question is, have we obliterated their desire to have a nuclear weapon?” Graham told reporters. “I don’t want people to think that the site wasn’t severely damaged or obliterated. It was. But having said that, I don’t want people to think the problem is over, because it’s not.”
  2. If you don't see the threat, you're a moron. It's crumbling before our eyes. All good things must end. Galls me that a bunch of pathetic reprobates might accomplish it. Barbarians are often the historical culprits. Strange time we live in, but history repeats...
  3. UVA will be just fine. It's survival of the fittest and they are that in Va. Proud of the UVA prez and proud to have been affiliated with such a noble and revered institution. https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/5376051-justice-department-demands-university-president-resignation/
  4. this doesn't tell you anything? It worked. They proved there's a legit chance of ending democracy by force. And lookee now..
  5. did you read their plan. No guns needed. but what do you expect from a a bunch of loser white supremacists and dumb F MAGA congressmen? not sure they ever intended to win. It was a shot acrosss the bow to unite all the scumbags. And it worked. easy to proceed when you're a no hoper in life with a guaranteed pardon from the mobster. Who knows what else he promised. In retrospect, is there any doubt he was giving them orders from the debate stage? He knew he was going to lose the election.
  6. cool. but your orange hero promised and delivered. And you still support him.... glad you now agree it was planned. you're daft.https://www.esquire.com/uk/food-drink/a46624300/british-pub-future/ Watch "Clarkson's Farm" (great show). He had multiple closed pubs to choose from and bought one. Then again, he owns a Lamborghini tractor...
  7. try reading The legislation would result in 11.8 million Americans losing insurance by 2034, CBO found: nearly 1 million more people without insurance than the House version. That amount includes an estimated 1.4 million people without “verified citizenship, nationality, or satisfactory immigration status” who would lose their state-funded coverage. What's 10 mil =/- a couple hundred thou?
  8. not good https://www.cnn.com/2025/06/29/world/iaea-iran-enriched-uranium-intl
  9. maybe you've been to working class pubs...It's actually sad. :pubs are becoming less common. Strong enforcement of drunk driving laws.
  10. Killing off your voter base doesn't seem a good idea https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/5375991-gop-tax-bill-health-cuts/
  11. have you been there? talked politics in a pub? At any rate, this was about an act at Glastonbury which was roundly condemned. Never been but I've watched it on youtube. So awesome! https://www.youtube.com/GlastonburyOfficial
  12. They got pardoned as promised. standing behind your "no planning" assertion?
  13. This is even worse. Blanket pardon anyone? https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/exclusive-jan-6-organizers-met-congress-white-house-1245289/
  14. sure "Doc". Read the court documents. There's also evidence that MAGA scum congress scum( MTG, Gossart, Boebert etc) were involved in multiple planning meetings. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/court-document-proud-boys-case-laid-plan-occupy-capitol-buildings-jan-rcna33755 The nine-page document, filed in federal court Wednesday, lays out a plan to fill buildings “with patriots and communicate our demands." Its stated goals include maintaining control "over a select few, but crucial buildings in the DC area for a set period of time" and getting as "many people as possible inside these buildings." “These are OUR building, they are just renting space,” the document reads. “We must show our politicians We the People are in charge.” The document lists eight targets: the Supreme Court, the Russell Senate Office Building, the Dirksen Senate Office Building, the Hart Senate Office Building, the Cannon House Office Building, the Longworth House Office Building, the Rayburn House Office Building, and CNN. Under a section titled "Manpower Needs," the document lays out five different roles: (1) Lead: “Covert Sleeper, sets up fake appointment — is expected to spend the day as our insider and let people inside the building”; (2) Second: "Takes the place of the lead in case of being discovered”; (3) Hypeman: “leads chants, must maintain energy / presence"; (4) Recruiter: “in charge of getting patriots for starting point for each building, share the ‘patriot plan’ document, spread the word"; and (5) Patriots: “Maintain a presence while handing out ‘patriot plan.’”
  15. Firstly, Glastonbury is in England, not the US (my niece is there right now.) Secondly, even event organizers felt the act crossed the line as did MP's and the police. The BBC has taken it down. England is more tolerant and liberal than the US but even there this was condemned. But speaking of Mao, trump borrowed much of his playbook to gain power.. He appealed to the working class and poor who were his greatest supporters. He villainized and persecuted intellectuals and academic elites. He grabbed as much power as possible in the shortest possible time. Sound familiar? https://www.cnn.com/2025/06/28/us/video/donald-trump-mao-zedong-comparison-vrtc
  16. Of course you don't. They were out in force on Jan 6 leading the insurrection. So you're good with that. The FBI used to care a great deal https://www.fbi.gov/news/speeches-and-testimony/confronting-white-supremacy
  17. https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/2074302/humiliation-donald-trump-us-trade A drop in exports pushed the U.S. trade gap as appetite for US goods slowed amid US President Donald Trump's 'Freedom Day' tariff increases. In May the US goods trade gap widened 11.1% to $96.6 billion according to the nations Commerce Department's Census Bureau; exports of goods dropped $9.7 billion to $179.2 billion while imports were little changed at $275.8 billion. The official announcement came as sportswear giant Nike warned that tariffs will cost it around an extra one billion US dollars (£727 million).
  18. i don't need to. maga's remind us constantly. At least we don't encourage white nationalist scum or foment treason.
  19. he's both. his tariffs are idiotic. The bombing was a huge risk which may or may not have achieved his objectives. The spending bill is horrible adding trillions to the deficit and seriously damaging health care for the poor and rural hospitals. He's made them a cash cow for the rich. The manner he's instituting his deportation program is evil and relatively ineffective in the big picture. His cabinet picks were largely ridiculous especially Kennedy. We now know what he meant by that statement. It was a command to hold their fire til the time he commanded. They understood and obeyed. He's aligned with the white supremacist pigs. They are aligned with him. He proved that with the pardons. His congress scum go to their rallies and meet with them. He meets with them (Fuentes). But most of all, he's amoral. That may help him succeed but I think the costs outweigh the benefits especially in regards to the morals of his decent followers and the national ethos. The nation is losing decency by the minute.
  20. I condemn antifa violence. Did any D ever tell to stand back and stand by? trump didn't condemn the proud boys, who were integral to the Jan 6 riot here.. In fact, he pardoned them. What did those words mean to you?
