  1. You're really something Irv. Nohing good, but definitely something. Why?
  2. i wish I were being melodramatic. We will see unrest. soon. you're describing Balkanization which really isn't a good thing. At all. The difference from the race riots is that the current radicals have better organization and higher numbers.than those parties. They mostly destroyed their own neighborhoods. Don't think it'll be that way this time.
  3. The firewall number looks very good for Harris. This could be deja vu all over again. https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/president/general/2012/obama-vs-romney Virginia is going Harris. 5. we haven't been this close to civil war since the confederacy committed mass treason. the sides are similar now. Urban versus rural. Educated versus uneducated. More affluent versus less. Establishment vs anti establishment. The exceptions, of course, were the leaders of the confederacy who were the slave holders and plantation owners and were attempting to exploit the entire country.. Economic issues were the primary motivation especially for the anti establishment. Same as now...
  6. You were right on til the last sentence. If we want to distill it further, it’s establishment vs anti establishment. Re covid, millions more would have died had not the mandates been in place. re censorship, there are plenty of places MAGAs can discuss their conspiracies including here. finally, in regards to the militaries role in a civil war, I believe it will be solely dependent on which tribe wins.
  7. It is if you are completely detached from reality.
  8. reading comprehension is not your thing. here: trump loses = civil war trump wins = fascism.
  9. this election is the fork in the road. trump wins, the second paragraph almost certainly happens.. He loses and the fascist movement almost certainly dies. Who would take his place as the future fuhrer? MTG? Vance? Little Lindsey? nah, none of the have them weird appeal to the losers that the orange man does. conversely, civil war is likely to occur sooner if trump loses and eventually, regardless on who wins, it will happen. We are on the downward slope of the inflection point where the next generation of unskilled workers doesn't do better than the last. That's not going to change. The global economy has it baked in. As it gets worse, regardless of who is prez, unrest will result. History predicts which group will attack the other.
  10. worth the read https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-election-trump-american-civil-war-b2634731.html
  11. He is anonymous but that looks like a deepfake. He has not helped as much as desired. I texted a retired teacher friend after he was named. He said what's not to like" but his wad was blown with "weird" and "mind your own business". In retrospect, Shapiro was the choice.
  12. I think he's calling you Fredo Corleone, which is incredibly offensive I can see the linkage with trump being a mobster. Never really got into the Godfather. Sopranos was good. Is Fredo the don? I wanna be the don!
  13. sure, I respect the authority of a nobody who can't use "their" correctly... "Nobody cares about there stories, and Trump is going to take them out."
  14. And you MAGAs think we are the paranoid ones...
  15. ideals, not ideal.
  16. Because Calcitriol is relatively extremely safe compared to hydroxychloroquine https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/drugs/19772-hydroxychloroquine-tablets
  17. It's about the ideals and policies. She represents the same ones as Biden. Who represented the same ones as Obama and Clinton. She could be an body with the political chops and the strength to advance the core principles of the party. trump is sadly, uniquely awful among R presidents.
  18. One side was Catholic, one Lutheran. Both were Christians who didn’t believe in beating anyone but did believe in the concept of a just war. WW2 clearly was that
  19. you're just not clever. At all...but thanks for reposting my hypothesis without a rebuttal. It showcases your mental weakness.
  20. don't project your family dynamics on me. I'm certain they're nothing like mine. yes, so where is the author wrong? did trump's first wife divorce papers state that he had a copy of Hitler's speeches at his bedside which he studied. wow. a meme straw man. cool. the nazis would admire that propaganda.
  21. https://www.commondreams.org/views/2019/08/09/leading-civil-rights-lawyer-shows-20-ways-trump-copying-hitlers-early-rhetoric-and A younger Trump, according to his first wife's divorce filings, kept and studied a book translating and annotating Adolf Hitler's pre-World War II speeches in a locked bedside cabinet, Neuborne noted. The English edition of My New Order, published in 1941, also had analyses of the speeches' impact on his era's press and politics. "Ugly and appalling as they are, those speeches are masterpieces of demagogic manipulation," Neuborne says. "Watching Trump work his crowds, though, I see a dangerously manipulative narcissist unleashing the demagogic spells that he learned from studying Hitler's speeches--spells that he cannot control and that are capable of eroding the fabric of American democracy," Neuborne says. "You see, we've seen what these rhetorical techniques can do. Much of Trump's rhetoric--as a candidate and in office--mirrors the strategies, even the language, used by Adolf Hitler in the early 1930s to erode German democracy."
  22. And I see it as a group of people that will accept and sometimes applaud shameful, immoral behavior (and will remain that way after he's gone) and policies and one that won't. As far as state vs federal, trump is throwing the states the abortion issue which is politically smart but he's promised to be a strongman leader in Washington and I believe him. did he do an ad for polident?
  23. Buckhead is Atlanta. I recall test driving a boxster there. "Buckhead is the uptown commercial and residential district of the city of Atlanta, Georgia, comprising approximately the northernmost fifth of the city." Wikipedia \ LI is red. It elected Santos.
