  1. That's easy. In the white supremacist universe.
  2. A nice video piece on South Dkota voters current views on trump. This region of SD voted 70% trump. I used to attend a conference run by the U of South Dakota med school held at Big Sky for several years. The way the shipping exec describes the people strikes me as accurate. Some are seeing the light ( or the dark). Some still aren't. https://www.cnn.com/2025/04/16/politics/video/south-dakota-trump-tariffs-elle-reeve-digvid
  3. Nope. Idiots frequently do stupid things. This was a popular show back when America’s supposedly great. There were lots of ads for Barbasol, listerine and deodorant.
  4. Those offenses against the constitution were chosen because the causes are unpopular. That’s the point of them. But standing up for the unpopular who are protected under the rule of law is always correct and admirable despite the political risks. You wouldn’t understand.
  5. We are losing to China at the top and the bottom of our populations. They know this. Prohibiting interracial marriage is in no way analogous to allowing 1 st amendment protected speech and protests. This is about putting intellectuals in their place. Harvard is fulfilling their patriotic obligation battling this fascist.
  6. except several generations of his ancestors were welfare queens and food stamp king hillbillies. they didn't build shite.
  7. you don't like that your hero is also Putin's hero? Why not?
  8. Well, no. That would be an incorrect conclusion: What are the median retirement savings by age? In 2023, overall median retirement savings was $13,000 per household, expanding to $29,000with the more permissive definition. Here are retirement savings medians per age: AgeMedian Retirement SavingsAlternative Definition 18-24$0.00$710.00 25-29$4,700.00$8,200.00 30-34$4,700.00$12,680.00 35-39$8,000.00$21,000.00 40-44$12,000.00$24,000.00 45-49$19,400.00$33,000.00 50-54$24,000.00$43,000.00 55-59$24,000.00$59,840.00 60-64$10,400.00$33,000.00 65-69$8,700.00$50,650.00 70-74$0.00$105,000.00 75-79$0.00$36,000.00 80+ Median is more meaningful than average since savings are so top heavy in the top 10%. How long do you think you could live on $8700? The $50000 number includes equity in a home. There would be lots of very poor retirees without Social Security. https://dqydj.com/retirement-savings-by-age/
  9. Putin is proud of Musk. Medal likely to follow. https://www.yahoo.com/news/putin-praises-elon-musk-compares-162400135.html
  10. I think you're babbling nonsense in a lame attempt to deflect from facts. Neither clever nor funny.
  11. All here in 5 charts but they won't look. facts don't matter to them https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/the-size-of-donald-trumps-2024-election-victory-explained-in-5-charts
  12. no book needed. summarized in 1 sentence. $1000 invested in S&P 10 years ago, compounded and reinvested is now $3100. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/savingandinvesting/if-you-invested-1-000-in-the-s-p-500-10-years-ago-here-s-how-much-money-you-d-have-today/ar-AA1wjBZW#:~:text=If you had invested a flat %241%2C000 as,assume that you chose to reinvest all dividends. Note that this was 3 months ago, before the orange turd turned the market sour. the bear might well hang around til trump is gone and even then may linger. Not ideal for retirees... it's called capitalism. why do book burning MAGAs care about small bookstores?
  13. yup, if you watch the stock market then you are an oligarch. These people are too clueless or too destitute to be outraged. Those two things ARE related.
  14. umm, a tiny percentage of market investors are oligarchs. but if it makes you feel better, keep believing that.
  15. I wasn't there. But Montana is beautiful. I love Big Sky. Very conservative. It's telling that they pulled a big crowd there. I presume what they were talking about was the concentration of wealth and policies that promote that such as tax breaks for the ultra wealthy. And I agree. Glad the stock market crashing isn't a big deal to you. That's also telling.
  16. I suppose that's true. lying and misrepresenting oneself is par for the MAGA course....
  17. nah, we're yelling "fight the maga's". they don't care about stocks cuz they don't have any.
  18. Guess you’ve never heard of extortion and protection rackets. Trump runs these from the White House so u should be familiar.
  19. Cutting science funding to Harvard helps Chine https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/5250224-trump-attacks-american-science/ Why is it important that the U.S. “wins” at science? I’ll use an example from my own field of nanoscience. You might know someone whose cancer was treated with Abraxane, a nanoparticle-based chemotherapy. Let’s now imagine that China develops a new treatment for cancer and decides not to share it with us. Or consider current developments in AI, quantum computing, and brain-machine interfaces. These all have military applications. I would certainly prefer that the U.S., not China, has the most advanced military technologies. I’m not sure whether Trump voters were voting to stop the development of new technologies in the U.S. I doubt they were voting to support the Chinese Communist Party, but that’s the situation we are in now. We need a democracy that protects human rights to be the leader in science. So disgusting that some (or several) teenage girl was forces to go to bed with pos, filthy, gross Dershowitz. Totally appropriate for him to be a MAGA icon however.
  20. thanks drumpf. thanks Elon. Thanks MAGAs. Putin loves you all https://www.mediaite.com/tv/whistleblower-accuses-doge-of-letting-russians-access-government-accounts-in-shocking-security-breach/ “There are two data points that I wanna point out that should give everybody pause,” Bakaj said. “The first thing, what Dan witnessed was that within 15 minutes of DOGE employees creating user accounts, i.e. Usernames and passwords, within 15 minutes of those accounts being created, somebody or something from Russia tried to log in with the right username and right passwords — that is to say — the right credentials. And that happened over 20 times.” “The second data point, which is really critical, is that DOGE has also been using Starlink as a means to exfiltrate data,” he continued. “What that means is that, from our understanding, Russia has a direct pipeline of information through Starlink, which means that anything going through Starlink is going to Russia.” “We also know that this is not unique to the NLRB,” he said. “This is happening government-wide.
  21. I must add, It is impossible to imagine what research can be done for $9billion funding per year. There are countries who don't have $9b. it's 2.2 b this year. The approx 8 billion being threatened is from multi year contracts and grants.... https://www.thecrimson.com/article/2025/4/1/trump-review-harvard-funds/
  22. Hopkins is already #1 in government grants. over $3 billion in 2022. But I think Harvard should just put patents on any research discoveries not publicly funded. trump wants to monetize everything. why shouldn't the elite universities do the same. If harvard does well perhaps all of the top research institutions will do the same. The public can obtain their discoveries from the local open admissions crappy school for free. https://hub.jhu.edu/2024/01/05/nsf-higher-education-research-spending-2022/
