We were in DC with another couple for a sightseeing weekend when that occurred. We heard chants coming from SCOTUS and headed over. Our friends were traditional (real) republicans then and we were D's. We all just watched with mouths agape as the protests swelled and the TV cameras and personalities reported. the protesters were not aggressive or violent. There wasn't any danger. There was trustworthy law enforcement in abundance. Mostly, people either honked in support or just drove by.

less protesters today probably due to heat and late planning. (it was organized 3 days ago).
