The playoffs will determine his fate. If the Ravens go out in the first round or don't make the playoffs, they are not giving him the money he wants. The knock on Jackson is that he is not producing in the 4th quarter or in playoff games. It is a fair criticism. They just don't score in the 4th quarter of games or in the playoffs.

If I told you... (Injury Reflections)
Bills2022 replied to Captain Caveman's topic in The Stadium Wall
Their QB got knocked out of the game. He played a half with a concussion. That is bigger than missing our starters. And obviously our backups were capable. They only put up a mere 500 yards and our banged up defense held the concussed QB of the Dolphins to 200 yards. You are the one embarrassing yourself. Just admit you are wrong. Stats don't lie. -
"You still think I should have deferred to the second half?" Yes.

No, it isn't that complicated. Teams have injuries. Not just the Bills. The Dolphins had injuries too. You live in some make believe world where everyone is healthy and if only the Bills were healthy they would have executed better. Nonsense. The perfectly healthy Bills have not executed many times over the years. Just look at the Rams first half. -
Davis Webb to Start for the Giants on Sunday

Wait, other teams outside the Bills have injuries they have to deal with? 🤣 Based on some of the posters on this site you would think only Bills players get injured. Giants have a great coach. He gets the most out of his team. Can't help but wonder if the Bills would have been better off with him running the show.- 47 replies

If I told you... (Injury Reflections)

They do? Based on what? Your feelings? We had 500 yards of offense. The Defense held them to 200 yards of offense. We had 90 plays. They have 39. We had the ball 40 minutes. They had the ball 20 minutes. You really can't do much better than that even if you have all your starters. They didn't produce when it mattered. Period. Explain to me how our injuries factored into missing a FG? How about all those missed passes? Were our coaches injured too? Because they sure as heck didn't bring their A game. -

Nope. Bills win easily if they execute. They were able to put up 500 yards and hold the Dolphins to 200 yards with the guys they had on the field. That says it all. Even with the starters you aren't really going to improve on that type of dominance. I am sure the Dolphins were missing a guy or two. Part of football. -
Guys on his own team are not going to be happy. If you pull that crap against one team, what is to stop other teams from doing it to you. Head injuries are bad enough, nobody wants to be dealing with injuries from having some sociopath who thinks it is ok to grab a guys stuff.

So has everyone else. Look at all the 2nd and 3rd string QB's playing yesterday. I don't think injuries have played into the outcome of games so far. The Bills have looked great and at times they have looked terrible in the same game. The lack consistency. So far they have only played one complete game against the Titans, and they sat their starters in the 4th quarter. Rams game 1st half. Bad. Dolphins. 2nd half. Bad Ravens 1st half. Bad -
We heard that last year and the Bengals went to the Super Bowl. The Colts and Dolphins just beat the Chiefs and Bills last week. The Ravens and Chargers nearly beat both of them too. The AFC is wide open. Honestly don't think the talent level is that much different between the Bills, Chiefs, Bengals, and Chargers. I also could see the Ravens, Browns, Titans and even the Jaguars knocking out one of the top teams if they don't show up. Very tough conference.

Championship caliber teams don't make excuses. That is for playoff caliber teams.

The Bills are not championship caliber yet. They are still just playoff caliber. They need to play all 4 quarters. The Chiefs game in 2 weeks will tell us a ton about the Bills. Teams like the Chiefs are not teams like the Ravens. Teams like the Ravens disappear late. Teams like the Chiefs will beat you if you don't play a complete game. We will know all we need to know about the Bills in 2 weeks. Are they going to continue being a playoff caliber team or are they going to make the jump to championship caliber. The talent is there. Not sure the coaching is.

We played like crap. Our coaching was terrible. We are still in this game. Play a perfect half and we win. -

If you play the poorly and are only down 10 at the half you need to win this game. -

Dolphins outscored the Ravens 35-10 in second half. The Bills have no excuses if they can't find a way to win this game. 10 points is nothing in the NFL. -

Tua and the Dolphins were down 28-7 against the Ravens on this exact field just two weeks ago. Just saying. -

20-10 at the half is not terrible with all this bad play. They have to score here. -

He is lost. He is way out of his league. Not head coach material. He has been carried by a very talented roster. -

Buffalo Bills. 21 Rushing Yards. A whopping 13 yards from our running backs. Go Bills. 🤣 -

You must have two things to win a Super Bowl. A really good quarterback and a really good coach. The Bills only have 1 of those. -

This is an unprepared Bills football team. There is nothing else that needs to be said. And all we are going to hear after the game is how "I have to do better preparing this team" at the podium. -

Hey at least we aren't going to lose 8 straight 1 score games. 🤣 Should have seen this coming with all the sloppy play in the first 3 weeks. -

The only way to fix the Bills is to fire McDermott. Any good coach with all this talent would never play this poorly.
