  1. Rapp has been underrated this season and really his whole career but you can't lose a game with only Taylor Rapp out on defense. I'm glad the staff knew essentially all week that this was going to be the case. I'm sure they have plans ready to go.
  2. They had a terrible o-line and some major injuries but Stroud still took a big step back in my opinion. His pocket awareness was some of the worst I've ever seen.
  3. Bishop just needs to not drown out there. If he can keep his head above water we will be fine. I have said this 5x already but if you can get to Mahomes and win in the run game against this weak(er) offensive line, you can cover up some deficiencies
  4. This is correct. At some point the defense has to step up and stop Mahomes when it matters. And to me it's about getting pressure on him and not letting him extend plays or let his pass catchers find space.
  5. My goal is to make this into a gigantic deal over these next 48 hours. To the point where we're forced to get favorable officiating because of it and/or it becomes a distraction to the Chiefs. Like Mahomes feels like he has to take big hits and/or not flop because this whole thing has been blown into a huge deal.
  6. If you need to drum up extra controversy or motivation this week, you shouldn't be playing. A trip to the super bowl is on the line. That's all anyone needs. Chiefs fans are only drumming this up because they're scared sh.itless
  7. We just need to get to Mahomes. Just can't let him sit back there and let his WR's/TE's get space down the field
  8. I played half court basketball for about 30 minutes on Saturday and still here today I can hardly get out of bed in the morning.
  9. I'm known as "the Bills fan" at work here in Illinois. The number of people who have told me they're all counting on me to beat the Chiefs this weekend has been crazy. Hell you'd think I'm starting at free safety on Sunday the way they're talking.
  10. I'm not convinced I'm going to make it to Sunday
  11. Bishop having a whole week of prep in that spot gives me a little more confidence. But man we just gotta get to Mahomes on Sunday
  12. The worst part about the Jawaan Taylor is the universal agreement about it for 2 years now including from all our rules experts, some of which are actually associated with the NFL. But it still doesn't get called. To me that's the biggest area someone could point to if they wanted to say the refs/league favor the Chiefs. I've heard people say "well it'd ruin the game if you called it every single time". That is such a dumb argument but it does sound like the IQ of a Chiefs fan
  13. While we're criticizing the way the NFL operates, I would really like to see more delay of game penalties called
  14. Spags is gonna mix it up. He'll throw different looks at Allen. We have to be able to run the ball effectively and it's time to wake up Cooper and the tight ends
  15. Can we just get some pressure on Mahomes with 4 guys every once in a while? If we can do that this is going to he a 2 score win
  16. I certainly think McDermott will push the rules as far as he can in terms of injury transparency for this one.
  17. Milano scares me a bit but he'll be out there in some capacity
  18. Next year is never guaranteed in the NFL. Win while you can.
  19. I hope they call the obvious stuff like Taylor's false starts or Offside or 12 men etc. Other than that just let them play.
  20. I would say the question is more about the Chiefs as a whole than Mahomes.. And the answer is "no but yes"
  21. The biggest thing about Chiefs playoff games is that they never beat themselves (oh and the whole refs thing). But Mahomes and the Chiefs aren't going to give you gifts like Jackson and Andrews did. We have to play well in every aspect of the game. I still think the Chiefs offense is not quite the same as past playoff teams, although it is better than it was 2 months ago. Spags is really going to make things uncomfortable for Allen/Brady. For me, as long as the defense can hold up, I see this as one of those 23-20 type games with the Bills winning
  22. If anyone wants to sell 2 for Sunday I'm very interested. Only about 3 hours away. I'm also working on trying to set up a gathering at a restaurant I like for TBD users
