  1. I am just so grateful he hasn't been here before
  2. You and others in here are 100% correct. It's a crime that this is even a discussion. But based on how we are currently constructed, I'm convinced it may be the best (only?) option
  3. With Kincaid out, I would like to see more of Alec Anderson going forward like we did last year. And that includes with Jackson Hawes. I would embrace going heavy personnel and hope that Palmer and or Davis can be a factor on the outside.
  4. My closest friend is a huge fan so I've watched a ton of Buccaneers games this season. Just general thoughts: - They aren't the same team without Bucky Irving. They are getting Sean Tucker more involved and he's a better fit than Rachaad White for what they like to do but he's still just a guy - Godwin and Evans being hurt is big for them. It's just the familiarity with Baker. But Egbuka is the real-deal stud and Tez Johnson is a burner. Our secondary will indeed be tested. Hope Benford is back - I actually think they're at their best when they get Cade Otton involved. Move the chains easier and open up the lid on the defense. Bishop and Poyer need to be disciplined in this one. I think this is an important area to win - Baker won't get rattled like Tua, Dalton, Rattler, etc who we've beat up on. But he still is prone to trying to fit one too tight of a window - Defensively they're definitely better against the run than the pass. They're good at bottling up the run game but are prone to big plays. I would hammer the rock as much as possible. They're weak in 11 personnel but that doesn't mean much to us. When they get beat through the air, it's usually against a stud wide-out so again doesn't apply much here. They also have been pretty decent against slot WR's and more prone to getting beat on the outside from what I can tell. I don't have the stats to back that up but just a feeling Overall the loss of Kincaid hurts but I would go heavy packages and maybe even involve Alec Anderson more with Hawes and just run it and hopefully get a guy like Palmer or Gabe going on the outside
  5. The worst part about the Patriots right now is that Drake Maye seems semi-likeable
  6. Does it matter if Josh wanted/liked Coleman? He's bad
  7. I understand this but I also think the offense looked good playing catch-up against the Ravens. They looked good being aggressive against KC. They looked better playing catch-up against Miami. I agree they aren't built to consistently play catch-up but I semi disagree with the idea that they aren't able to do it. I think it's more the conservative coaching. I think in our losses, we have gone away from our strengths. Against KC we hammered Cook and got the TE's involved. Against Miami, it took until our 4th drive to get Kincaid a target. In our loss to NE, Cook had 3 touches in our first 4 drives. In our loss to ATL, we gave up almost 300 yards in the 1st half so that may be a bit of an outlier
  8. 100% correct. And maybe I'm wrong but I see a somewhat lazy, pouty attitude from Coleman now. I'm not 100% Gabe Davis will do better but I'd sure as hell like to find out
  9. 13 personnel is a growing thing in the NFL. It's just that most teams have a WR who can take the top off the defense to go along with it.
  10. All joking aside, I support this move. We just have to actually use him and use his strengths. If he just spends the year on the practice squad, it's another meaningless move.
  11. We'll restructure a bunch of contracts this spring to open up a bunch of cap space and then strike out again but we'll say we tried our darndest.
  12. We'll make adjustments and win this one. Especially with Bucky Irving out again. Will probably carry those adjustments over and beat the Texans too. Then we'll get complacent and go back to our stubborn mindset and get too cute again and lose to the Steelers. I'm just sensing a general trend. I just hope it's timed well with making a playoff run.
  13. The Bills leaking that story to make the fans really believe they tried sure backfired on them.
  14. Imagine if Coleman hadn't endeared himself to everyone in that initial press conference.
  15. I want to see us play with tempo
  16. Sanders was my favorite draft pick in the last 5 years. So I'm excited. Usually me getting excited ends up poorly
  17. I know there's medication for this but this move still doesn't get it up for me
  18. Once Palmer and/or Davis are healthy, Coleman will be inactive weekly
  19. Who's your guys' prediction for who gets hurt in practice this week?
  20. They need a d.ick who will stir up shi.t and challenge people. I'm just asking for Daboll for 3 months here to stir it up and then he can go on his way
  21. Daboll isn't perfect but I support bringing him on more for his personality than anything
  22. McDermott won't do it but man it sure seems like the football gods are throwing us some chances. Beane already passed on the 2026 1st for Waddle. Do we pass on Daboll too?
  23. I don't love Daboll but man this is the type of move/shake-up that I genuinely believe is needed. I'm not saying fire Brady. But bring in Daboll to work with the offense and it sends a message to everyone.
  24. I just laughed out loud for a good 2 minute at my desk thinking about how we rolled out Ray Davis for that onside kick. My coworkers thought I was manic until I explained and then they laughed too
