Maybe I've developed a drinking problem this offseason but every single time I see this thread title I read it as: "Mini-Camp: A James Cook Bartender"
-
Von didn't live up to the contract but I was fine with the swing Beane took. And it wasn't all Von's fault. But it's time to let the kids play

I don't judge any fans and I welcome them all honestly. I've supported the Bills since I was 6 when I randomly won a Bills football from a claw machine here in St Louis. I will admit that I've actually made an effort to go to games since Allen and have more financially supported the team since then too. But I'm coming up on 30 years as a fan this year.
-
I'll be interested to see the manufacturered drama they come up with

I see him more as a phantom injury guy requiring a year long stint on IR after week 6

Does the placement of the bye week really matter?
stlbills13 replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
If we run the division and clinch by week 15 or whatever again, it doesn't matter -
It doesn't matter the day time or place I'm going to revolve my entire schedule and life around the Bills game but man I would enjoy more early Sunday games
-
I'm not opposed to it on a super cheap deal but the roster numbers just don't work out for him. There's no real room

Who’s your defensive surprise of the year?
stlbills13 replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm also in on Bosa. I also think one of the rookie corners is considered a top 15 CB in the NFL by January My negative surprise is something I really don't want to put into writing but it also involves the secondary -
What is your favorite totally random Bills game?
stlbills13 replied to T.E.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Very short term memory, this past year on MNF vs the Jags or the Lions game Longer term The McCoy Snow game Lions Thanksgiving game -
I don't think it'll be that hard and fast of a rule but they definitely won't have divisional games in that slot. Especially with their home vs away sideline nonsense
-
I agree with both of these points although I think the coaching staff likes Ulufoshio and viewed last year as mini red shirt year like they like to do with LBs in their 2nd year. But LB depth still scares me, as does Taron. It's why I like the Hancock pick so much but probably not for this season. I do think Kincaid will rebound but TE is still a concern for me. TE is our best path to pass catchers putting fear in opponents now
-
I'm the only one so far but I am very down on our TE group. I'm optimistic Kincaid can take a next step but until he actually does, I don't see anyone who causes defenses or defensive coordinators trouble.

Bills 4th Round Pick : Deone Walker - DT - Kentucky
stlbills13 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
He will force Derrick Henry to run outside right at Max Hairston But in reality I like Walker a lot. He needs to strengthen his lower body but he's still going to clog up lanes and he has enough quickness to at least force a QB outside -
Bills 5th Round Pick (#2) : Jackson Hawes - TE - Georgia Tech
stlbills13 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Alec Anderson moves inside to guard or center after this season, I could Hawes playing that 6OL role going forward. But for this year he's in the Q Morris heavy role and his offensive stats may look something like 6 catches 39 yards and a touchdown -
Anyone have anything? Rumor over the draft weekend that we are starting the year in Cleveland but obviously just a rumor

Buffalo Bills Consensus Draft Grades
stlbills13 replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall
They got 2 starters and added depth in the areas that are either depleted or don't show up in late January. That's a big win for me. It wasn't a perfect draft but I'm pleased -
Bills 5th Round Pick (#1) : Jordan Hancock - CB - The Ohio State
stlbills13 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
If he replaces Cam Lewis I'm pretty happy -
As a Missouri guy, Burden would be a good pick. He needs to improve his route running but again he offers things our current WR group doesn't have. But I would prioritize the DL here today potentially with both picks.
-
Defensive lineman and then I can accept basically any other position but priorities are DL/CB (double dip), safety, WR, or LB

Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky

The Bills want someone with elite traits. They got it. -
Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky

He doesn't need to tackle when he has the ball 🫡 -
Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky

He profiles as a perfect gamewrecker CB2. Very happy. And he can be brought on somewhat slowly if really needed.
