That was the worst defensive half of the season. And there's been some awful ones

If he was late again this week, he should not see the field the rest of the season

This is a very reasonable take. The Bills had 3 walkthroughs this week and really only had 2 full days in team facilities. I think with the mini-bye after this, the coaches will get a better idea of how Coleman has responded (although Thanksgiving may impact that). But if the passing game looks really good again this week, it'd be pretty hard to justify bringing him back just from that perspective.

I mean did people expect us to draft Coleman and then for it to come out that "Allen DID NOT WANT him"?

The "Allen wanted Coleman" thing is so overhyped. That story comes out about all top QB's and the WR that is drafted. It's just so meaningful to us because for once Beane drafted a WR early.

I would guess it's not coming from the organization but rather a player/agent. Something tells me there's more going on here than Coleman missing a meeting

I think Coleman is better than he's shown but if we're winning without him (one game I know, I know) I don't really think he needs to come back any time soon.

I know the whole idea that when you have a bad/injured defense you need to run the ball and shorten the game but IMO this defense is so bad that you just need to let Josh go wild and see what happens. 2 pretty poor turnovers yesterday and we still put up 44 in non optimal weather conditions. You gotta protect Josh from a health perspective so maybe you can't quite be like that the rest of the way but it's time to open it up and let the dogs eat.

We just need to take care of the football in this one. The Texans will keep points off the board but their offense is so lethargic no matter who the QB is that as long as you aren't gifting them field position, you'll be fine. Can't wait for Woody Marks and the corpse of Nick Chubb to run for 250 against us though

I mean like any trade it just depends what you can get. If it's Coleman and a 7th for a 6th I'd say no. But if someone sees a young WR on a rookie deal and wants to do something like Coleman and a 6th for a 3rd then yeah sure. (insert joke about 3rd round Bills picks here) The rest of the season will dictate a lot. Does Coleman learn/respond from this? Is he even active? If he doesn't even see the field the rest of the way then yeah I'd probably trade him for anything assuming we plan to take a swing for a top WR anyway this spring.

For as much as I'm not worried about Daniel Jones in the playoffs, Jonathan Taylor might run for 350 yards against us. Especially if it's in Indy.
