Bills restructure Taron Johnson creating 1.75 million in cap space

What in the hell was the point of this? -
Man. That's a lot of faith in a flawed roster without 2 of their best defensive players
-
I genuinely can't believe Beane didn't make a single move.
-
Give me Hoecht on one of those little scooter carts over Von
-
-
Maybe they're right. But man if you don't make a move, you HAVE to make the Super Bowl
-
Chiefs play at Dallas on Thanksgiving. Hopefully these dumb moves by Jerry lead to a win there at least.
-
That's it. Trade for Justin Jefferson or we riot.
-
Baltimore has made multiple trades. So have the Eagles. It's possible
-
I would take Deebo over doing nothing
-
It's an interesting dilemma for Beane in all honesty. You've come so close to a Super Bowl so winning a playoff game or two is just not as meaningful as usual. So you have to decide. Do you go all in? If you do, you better win. Do you totally sit out? If you do, you better win. Do you make moves around the margins? Probably the only approach that won't come with enormous criticism if you don't win.
-
They're not at all incompetent. But to be sitting here on deadline day with the least cap space of any team in the NFL is not good roster management. You should have the room for some sort of meaningful move on deadline day. Like I said, they're going to make a move today. And it's going to be a good one. I just wish we'd go all in during a year where Burrow is hurt, the Ravens are in a huge hole, and the Chiefs are not the same Chiefs.
-
Every team just needs to play better in the playoffs
-
And last year entering the playoffs we were second in SB odds. Didn't win it.
-
I agree but the cap situation is also on Beane. He just hasn't managed the roster very well. He's going to make a move today and it's likely going to be one that is helpful this season. It's just that things are so wide open this year that I would have been happy to overpay for a Shaheed, BTJ, Olave type WR AND add a depth defensive piece
-
I wouldn't be happy with this but at least it's something. It's wide open this year. Go get someone who will be on the field in late January
-
When has Garrett Wilson ever caught 4 TD's in a playoff game like Gabe Davis?
-
We'll see what happens but I genuinely believe Beane thinks we are good at WR
-
I think a BTJ trade is just as much about these next few years as it is this year. And even learning the system on the fly he'd be an upgrade over what we have. I would assume the only real reason the Jags would trade him is that they don't have a 2026 1st rounder
