It appears Allen trusts Kincaid. If that is the case, he will have a huge impact. Torrence is going to be really steady. Maybe more so in the running game this year but he will do his job protecting Allen too

I Am Not Optimistic Going Into This Season
stlbills13 replied to longtimebillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah I have to agree with the title of this thread. I initially thought we would have an undefeated season averaging 37 points per game and giving up less than 7 all while Josh Allen throws 58 touchdowns and runs in 12 more on the way to an MVP season barely beating out Ed Oliver who picked up 33 sacks from the defensive tackle position on the way to a blowout Super Bowl win. But given the legit improvements of the other teams in the division as well as a questionable offensive line and some aging players in the defensive backfield, I will pivot to a 14-3 season, #1 seed, and a tightly fought Super Bowl win -
Maybe he likes the weather

Hes the 2nd best linebacker on the roster. Nice to get that on August 30th

In. Thanks!

How much longer will the window be open?
stlbills13 replied to JohninMinn.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Actually just washed all our windows and some were harder to get open so someone on here remind me to open the windows more frequently over the next 12 months -
Yeah missing the two divisional games sucks. I still think a Super Bowl contending team beats the Dolphins at home without him so hopefully that is the case here. And you never know what will happen in the first game of the season on MNF. The Jets and their fans will be hyped but Rodgers has laid an egg early in the season a few times in his career for whatever reason.
-
Interesting. Good to know. Long overdue
-
You can get by the Raiders and Commanders without him. You can beat the Dolphins at home too. I don't want him playing on the Jets field anyway so this is expected and preferred. I would be fine with him sitting out in London too. This is also where Floyd steps up. You're in a better place than you were last year. Make sure he's fully healthy and up to speed in January and ride him to the Super Bowl

Speculation and discussion on Bills final roster cuts

Keep Kingsley at least til Von comes back. He's not an every down player but he can make plays in spurts -
Speculation and discussion on Bills final roster cuts
stlbills13 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree. I'd love to have him out there against the Jets on MNF but not on that field. I have to hope we don't need him against the Raiders or Commanders. And you should beat the Dolphins at home with or without him. So let him get fully healthy and I don't even have a problem with him not playing in London. -
WGR speculating the Bills will make a trade
stlbills13 replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
A player for player trade with Elam would be good. Trading him for a mid to late pick does nothing for me. The goal needs to be to win this season. I'd guess any trade comes from the defensive line and brings back like a 5th round pick -
He is a fine player. Every team needs a guy like him towards the middle-end of their defensive line depth. Almost all teams already do have a guy like him. I prefer to keep him and keep the continuity with our depth during this window. If a desperate team thought he had untapped potential and gave up like a 4th and 6th for him or gave up a startable MLB or OT, I'd drive him to the airport. But I don't think a player like that has that kind of value. So just keep him knowing you have a guy who knows the system and will be fine

Connor McGovern Injury ????????????????
stlbills13 replied to Riverboat Ritchie's topic in The Stadium Wall
We have depth here. Maybe they're even playing (pointless) mind games with the Jets prep especially with their interior defensive line talent. But if you can get past this Jets game, you may even be able to sit him the two weeks after that without destroying your postseason chances. Sprained my MCL 6 years ago jumping out of a moving golf cart. Not mild but not terrible. Was back to jumping out of golf carts 3 weeks later -
Well that was an absolute crap fest - PostGame thread
stlbills13 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
You always see games called tighter in preseason and early season. Always a push from the league to call it right. Then it's more lax as the season goes on. But the penalties last night were still concerning and have to be cleaned up. The o tackles are a bigger concern to me than MLB by far. I have confidence we can win shootouts if Allen is healthy and upright. Our stars looked like stars for the most part and they stayed healthy -
Game Day Thread? Bills @ Steelers 8/19
stlbills13 replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
Linebacker and offensive tackle struggled today. The positions everyone knew were risky. 3 weeks to figure it out. An 82 year old out of shape Jason Peters may be the answer. Maybe we can get Kuechly too off the street -

Well Gabe looks good. But Brown is going to be a problem all season -
Ezekiel Elliot to Pats on 1 year up to $6 million deal
stlbills13 replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Belichick will probably give him 60% of the carries even though he has a much better back on the roster. Actually I hope he does that. He's a good pass protecter (when not lined up at center) and can probably still get it done in short yardage or have one pop-off game. I actually wouldn't have hated having him here in the Murray/Harris role mainly for his pass protection ability. But he doesn't make a non contending team like the Patriots any closer to winning. -
What Would Happen if the Bills Cut Damar Hamlin? (Dan Patrick)
stlbills13 replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
He isn't getting cut. Especially with Rapp being used as a hybrid linebacker type player at times. Hamlin will be at the end of the depth chart. He'll see some time this year and then if he doesn't take a step forward he won't make the team next year. You roster a 4th safety but you don't actually need one until guys get hurt. -
Playoffs, 4th and 8, game is on the line (personel hypothetical).
stlbills13 replied to akcash's topic in The Stadium Wall
LWR - Kyle Allen RWR - Latavius Murray SWR - Quinten Morris TE - 1 legged Nyheim Hines Defense burns their last timeout. Go back out there with the same 4, delayed handoff to Cole Beasley who we signed in week 12 -
Somebody go bubble wrap Allen and Diggs until September. I live in Illinois so I probably can't get there in time but I'll venmo you for the bubble wrap. I still like the offense. Hines could have actually been a surprise cut especially with new kick rules this season. We'll be fine if that's the biggest injury we have
-
With the new kick rules I could see guys like Beasley make the roster if teams decide they don't need a 5th/6th WR to be a special teams guy. May actually impact our roster with guys like Cam Lewis but not sure McD is ready to give up on that yet
-
My boldest prediction is that Diggs doesn't do anything dramatic all season
-
Still the Eagles. Elite offensive line, two really good WRs, really good TE, one of those systems where any RB will thrive, strong d line, aging but very strong secondary. Then a QB who I do think is overrated and can win a game single-handedly (or lose a game single-handedly) and fits the system perfectly. 49ers are right there too. A lot of similarities to the Eagles but a lesser QB. The Lions aren't ready yet and they'll have a harder schedule this year but they are going to be a pain for anyone to go against. The Giants and Cowboys are on a path to be relevant for the next 8-10 years but never true contenders Yeah the Jags are an interesting team. They were only 9-8 last year but they played their best football late. I think Lawrence keeps ascending. Ridley could be a really good addition for that offense. The o-line isn't great though and the defense is still going to struggle to get off the field against the Bills, Bengals, and Chiefs. I don't think Jacksonville is a particularly difficult place to play but you'd still rather play the entire playoffs at home than go into Buffalo, Cincy, or KC. And the Jags have one of the weakest divisions in football so they're a legit threat for the 1 seed.
