What is the extent of Shakir's injury? It sucks that he finished the Baltimore game but was never close to playing this past week. I know that's how sprains go a lot of times but anyone know his status for this week?

Initially I thought the Vikings pick was a huge asset. I expected it to be somewhere between the 33rd and 38th over pick. Now that the Vikings look legit, I have no real need to hang onto that asset. Yes it loses some value but it also becomes something I don't need to have anymore. I understand the whole idea of a cap reset year. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't be doing everything you can to win now. You don't push off years with a franchise quarterback especially one who plays a style of play that possibly lends itself to a shorter shelf life. I do think Beane will acquire a WR before the deadline. I am pretty skeptical that it'll be a top guy. More likely it'll be more of the same but just a fresh face so it gives off the impression that he did something. THAT is something I would have a problem with giving up an asset for.

The Von Miller signing was a huge all-in risk. I actually applaud and appreciate the type of move. It didn't work out and that's a big deal . He has done a good job on the offensive line. I do think the line falters in big moments but for the most part they keep Josh upright for 17+ games He's done a good job with our cornerbacks although 1st rounder on Elam sucks. He's done a good job with our linebackers especially letting expensive guys walk He has totally and completely failed the franchise quarterback with what he's done at wide receiver. WR was a need even with Diggs. I have no real problem with moving on from Diggs. It wasn't working. But you had to find a way to get creative and get better at WR. He didn't.

For me they're pretty much one in the same. Beane sets the roster based on what McD wants. So it comes down to McD's coaching blunders in game

Honestly losing at the buzzer on the road against a playoff team with 6 starters out and your quarterback completing 30% of his passes should be encouraging but somehow its not at all
