Bills Related Draft News & Discussion
stlbills13 replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the biggest thing we accomplished in free agency is we didn't force ourselves to lock into a certain position with our 1st round pick. There are certainly upgrades needed at DE, DT, CB but our hand is not forced to take one specific position. -
Anybody Looking To Sell Season Tickets

Bump especially if someone wants to split -
When you've heard of an offensive lineman, it's usually either a very good or very bad thing. That applies here
-
I may sign him just to keep him away from KC
-
I'm not upset about this but we still need CB help and need to address the line early and often in the draft
-
We still need one more starter either on the d line or in the secondary that needs to be filled via free agency. We pick too late in the draft to count on a surefire starter for a super bowl contender
-
Houston definitely had too good of an offensive line
-
We will see what happens with Hollins. I want him back but he's a better fit here than most places. It still has to be a bargain deal
-
I still think CB is the biggest weakness on the team right now and one of the positions where I have the least confidence in a rookie stepping in.
-
I don't think they'd give us those picks and Chase and Hendrickson
-
Chase and Hendrickson for a 1st and AJE

I definitely think you'll see the Bills draft or sign a speedster WR. But again it's not going to be a #1 type guy
-
He reminds me of a boundary WR version of Shakir honestly. He's not going to take over a game but he's going to get open and make tough catches.
-
If we still signed a few depth DL guys and maybe a depth CB/S. Then with 3 of the first 62 picks we took DL, CB, WR, I would say that's a heck of an offseason. We were never going to sign a stud free agent because that didn't really exist. But get some depth guys and then take advantage of an extra draft pick and you're looking at a really good spring/summer
-
Because the free agent options are slim pickings, we pick at the very end of the draft, stud WR's don't get traded unless they're getting a mammoth contract to go with it, and he still upgrades the WR room.
-
Palmer can play. The only concern is that he'll likely be miscast in the #1 boundary WR role and face a lot of top CB's. Coleman has to take the next step. That's been the key no matter what. I'd still go out and get some sort of speedster in the draft

I know this is dumb but I'm convinced we're winning the super bowl now. Palmer is a solid player who offers a lot of things this WR room was missing. It also allows Beane/McD to prioritize defense early in the draft and the rest of free agency. He's not a stud but he fills a hole that isn't easy to fill
-
He's a good, not great player. Good fit for us.
-
He's better than Curtis Samuel so we got that going for us
