  2. Yup. Like I said when it happened -- it could end up being a good long-term move, but the timing of it left a lot to be desired.
  3. Glad Sal picked up on that. Figured if I retweeted those, he'd see them...
  4. Props to Nick Mendola for that one.
  5. 1. This presumes you think there was something wrong with the questions they asked. 2. Graham didn't complain about the responses he received. And with that, I'm done here for a while.
  6. And anyone who wants to B word at the reporters for "baiting" him needs to ask themselves which side first decided to ramp up the tension inside that room. But I guess I'm showing my "slant" again, right? Stats and facts from now on, as Chandler#81 requested. Nothing else.
  7. That's how he entered the interview room last week, by kicking the door open.
  8. Check back after Week 6, when he's eligible to come off PUP. He says (via Twitter) that he's ready to go. We'll see.
  9. He had the opportunity to speak in the locker room following the first two games. And you can praise/blame the Bills PR department for setting up in the media room last Sunday, because I don't think that was the writers' idea. At least if he's in the locker room, he (probably) won't be kicking any doors open.
  10. Schobel's injury, yes. The rest of the players on my list? Other than Whitner, they probably don't start for most of the other teams in the league. That goes for the Bills' OTs today, too: does it really matter who's on which side?
  11. The four-game stretch that turned the season: @MIA - Butler, Schobel, Youboty out, DiGiorgio to IR, McGee gimpy. Preston in for Fowler, Scott for Simpson, coach's decision. NYJ - Butler, McCargo, Reed, Schobel, Youboty out. @NE - Butler, Reed, Schobel, Whitner out, Youboty to IR. Corner and McKelvin started with McGee and Greer (Bills opened in dime), Wilson in for Whitner. CLE - Butler and Whitner back. Reed and Schobel out. Everyone else played. The NE game was the worst, with four starters sidelined. They're down more than that right now. Not that I'm trying to make it a major issue, but I'll still disagree about a "ridiculous" amount of injuries. Unfortunately, that's part of the game, and something every team has to deal with.
  12. Really? Schobel and Greer were the only starters on either side of the ball to miss more than three games last year.

  14. Because he wrote something they didn't like.
  15. Actually, I don't get into that stuff, but I believe there is a part in the Bible that says something about judging not and another one which speaks to redemption. Also not sure I get the hate for someone I'm assuming you've never met (nor have I), and whose actions have no effect on either of our lives, so I guess I'll just have to agree to disagree here. Bigger things in life to worry about.
  16. With Lynch back to share the load at RB, might see FJax get some work there.
  17. Edit: upon further (film) review, I should apparently stop drinking before games, because Scott stayed on the right side after Bell went out. Still can't say I'm thrilled with EITHER tackle option, though ... and we knew depth at the position would be a problem. Good call, bringing in that rookie to take Butler's roster spot. Hope he pans out in another year or two.
  18. Jonathan Scott and Kirk Chambers are the tackles (unless Bell makes a miraculous recovery), but which sides they'll play is yet to be determined (at least publicly). Think I'd sooner see Chambers on the left side, but that's just my opinion ...
  19. That's a great summation, Counselor. I'm partial to this one from before the TB game, even though I wholeheartedly agree with Owens on the subject of Bayless: @terrellowens : @RealSkipBayless whn i score this wkend u dirtbag, i'm still nt gonna talk! Good stuff all around, JW. I don't think there was much love for Rotten Rodney here even before he got the TV job and started opening his yap, though, so the honorary membership is probably out. Owens would have probably been better served by replying in a calmer manner, but, well, that's not who he is. And because it was an ex-player taking the shots, that surely added to the testosterone level of the response. And yes, if someone was smack-talking Andre Reed, I doubt Kelly would have come out with a line like, "I haven’t even been watching any of it. I don’t even know what kind of heat has been taken. So I am the wrong person to ask in terms of that." He and Dre mixed it up on the sideline, sure, but that's within the family. Outsiders don't get that privilege, and meek non-answers like Edwards' shouldn't be an option. We had great fun here with Owens' teary "That's my quarterback" riff in Dallas, but at least he was sticking up for a teammate ...
  20. Did Peters, Carucci, and Felser "just give the stats/facts"? Because I could swear I remember Larry using the "one of those opinionated days" tags more than once. And FWIW, I believe that before he retired as SE of The News, Felser probably had something to do with hiring a writer named ... Tim Graham.
  21. I listened to that bit a couple of times, trying to figure out who that was so I could mock him. And then I remembered how much I hate transcribing my own interviews, because (IMO) I sound like an idiot in most of them ... so yeah, I think I'll reserve comment on this one.
  22. Might want to check into those Dolphins injury reports: http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/...ompletely-blank http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/...bard-s-cupboard http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/...n-injury-report and this: http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/...s-sorry-for-you
  23. Actually, it could ... but nfl.com is the only outlet that could put it together. In fact, I believe that when Turk got fired, the Bills wouldn't even let any local media carry the PC live so they could have the exclusive on bb.com. (And then, IIRC, they screwed up the audio. Go figure.)
  24. And right on cue ... bb.com: Terrell Owens Wednesday press conference
  25. I believe those rights are owned by the team.
